I’ve come to the realization that a lot of you directioners have not dealt with death until now, with Liam’s passing. As someone who has had to deal with a lot of death in the past 2 years and even a drug related death, I have some words of advice.

1. Every day will feel different. You’ll wake up one day and feel better and suddenly 4 days later break down all over as if you just heard the news. That’s ok. It is very normal and could happen for a while.

2. All different kinds of things can and probably will trigger your grief to come back at different stages of your healing process. That’s normal and allow yourself to feel the pain.

3. With a drug related death, there is a different sense of sadness caused since there was a time when drugs weren’t in the equation. Knowing the person you loved was happy and ok but eventually got caught in drug use and died is very difficult. There is a different kind of pain that this usually brings. As someone who knows how hard recovery is, there is some peace in knowing the constant battle between temptation, guilt, relapsing, and shame is over. Liam will never have to go in those circles again and trust me when I say those circles destroy a person over time. He really is having more peace in death than living.

4. Grief as long as you need. You’ll catch yourself wondering why you’re still crying and others are not. Why you wake up with this sadness that left others weeks or days ago. You’ll probably feel alone at times because of this too. As if everyone has started healing and moving on but you haven’t. I personally struggle with this part of the healing process. It’s ok. Take your time. Be kind to yourself and rely on people in your life and others online at this time. We have a fandom to talk to and there are grief counseling and groups online you could join to help you process your emotions. There is no set timeline on grief.

5. As time goes by, the fresh wound of grief does begin to scar but till never really heal to the point before the death. The pain gets better and the constant crying stops. Unfortunately, you may have to deal with the emptiness forever but the pain of it lessens over time and becomes more like background noise you can ignore.

Losing a person, online persona, a pet, or an object you loved is always hard. Don’t compare your pain to others and don’t compare your healing process to others! You just need to wait it out and go through the emotions. And trust me when I say that time heals all because especially with grief, time is something you need.

My entire fyp is just full of edits of the boys and Liam and I can’t take it🥺 seeing Zayn and Louis ( in public) after all those years brought me so much joy but also an equal amount of hurt at the circumstances. I always imagined they would reconcile and then one day the would announce that they were all getting back together. The five boys who started together, continuing it years later with more love than ever. 🥺

Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever ever thought that Liam wouldn’t be here anymore. My heart keeps hurting for him, I just can’t imagine what his friends and family are going through. He was so young and still had so much life to live. I just know that he would’ve been the first one at Zayns shows supporting him. He loved supporting his boys🥺

And to all you pathetic disgusting people who were shitting on Zayn for postponing the show. Shame on you. How dare you. If zayn announces that the tours cancelled, I’ll be okay with you. You know why. Cause his mental health matters the most. Could you ever imagine losing a brother then having to fake happiness in front of thousands of people. And to the other lot of you who chose Liam’s funeral as an opportunity to thirst on Zayn. Shame on you. He’s mourning a loss. Stop making it weird and disgusting. And stop comparing their sadness. They don’t have to be screaming and sobbing and throwing things around to prove that they’re sad. Respect them for once and treat them like fucking humans for once.

Personally I don't like the way Harry dresses at all, on the other hand I think Kyle has been doing a very good job with Joe because let's be honest, Joe himself had a very weird style. So we are the clear example that fashion is subjective and what you don't find "fashionista" or "good enough" for others can be fine and vice versa.
