I don’t know a ton about Star Trek, so maybe this is addressed in a show or novel I haven’t seen, but does anyone ever bring up the fact that Earth had a major imperial power whose founder and capitol city were named after the Romulan home-world, several emperors with Romulan names, and a god named “Vulcan”? Is there some conspiracy theory among Star Fleet cadets like “aliens built the pyramids” but instead it’s “aliens built the Roman Empire, and by extension a large portion of the culture of the Western World”? Are the Romulans, or perhaps the ancestor they share with the Vulcans, canonically responsible for a major piece of Earth history? Were Romulus and Remus aliens in the Star Trek universe?

I fully believe that, had he survived, Strahm would have ended up becoming a version of Jigsaw in his quest to destroy Hoffman. There’s no way he would have been satisfied with just arresting or killing him. Even Jill, the sanest of the group, put Hoffman in the bear trap instead of just shooting him. Strahm wouldn’t be satisfied unless he got to inflict as much pain as possible to Hoffman.

My favorite part of Saw VI is when Hoffman reveals Strahm’s corpse and he’s completely pancaked except for his feet, which are both for some reason completely fine and not even dented.
