I go by 2 names my birth name which I got from my late grandmother and then my chosen name is my late great grandfathers name. Both hold meaning for me/my family (grandmother on mother's side and great grandfather on Dad's side) and I don't mind being called by both, though I prefer my chosen one. Idk if anyone else is in a similar situation :p

When you're learning a new language should are you supposed to be learning to translate it into your first language for example

You hear "ciao, mi chiamo Lloyd"

And in your head you translate it to "hi, my name is Lloyd"

Or

Do you think of it like the word in another language is just a different word that means the same thing like how you can you "large" and "big" and they mean the same thing?

And is learning a new language harder when you're dyslexic or does that not matter overly?

Idk how to word it, but TLDR how do you approach learning a language as a dyslexic person?
