Eve,

The Refined Mercenary.

Eve is an intriguing case, in a world of living myths, grandiose gods, and mysterious spirits one would expect a mere human to be easily overshadowed. Eve however certainly is not. This previously unknown mercenary arrive from a far-off land, spoke like a noble woman, and seemed to already know of the underground. (impressive considering it is one of the best kept secrets of the server.) She has remained tight lipped on both her origins and her purpose for being here.

All these facts combine to show that this bounty hunter is truly a wildcard. One who is will to do anything for the right price.

Onyx,

The Master Illusionist.

A true mystery, information on her is even more illusory and fleeting than magics she is capable of. Currently little is known of her, whether that be her origins, how she draws her power, or why lives in the underground. What is known is that she is a recent addition to the unground, having taken over the role of DJ within the speakeasy after Corrupt's banishment. Also she seems to have a personal connection with Daniel the crystalline abomination, although details on that are scant as well.

Needless to say, this mysterious figure will make life in the underground much more interesting and fantastical than before.

Aspen,

The Beloved Heir.

Aspen is a mossfolk of Hickory's creation. Uplifted from a humble creeper, they were granted a truly conscious mind and immortality. Soon after their uplifting they were given an education in the arts and customs of mossfolk, and trained in martial combat by Hickory. This provided a necessary base for their Sovereign's plan. The plan in question was simple, Aspen was to venture out into this brave new world, and they would learn all could during their travels to recount to their master upon their return.

Due to recent events, Aspen has been recalled home. Their creator eagerly awaits the return of their favored creation, as they shall prove most useful to their Sovereign. A learned, dedicated, and fair heir is quite the prize in the eyes of any monarch. Finally the forest will have a caretaker to watch over it incase of Hickory's absence.

Daniel,

The Crystalline Abomination.

Out of all the inhabitants of Chronicle, few surpass Daniel in terms of peculiarity. For starters they are a walking, talking, amethyst crystal. Second, they run an underground speakeasy to cater to the most decedent and devious of the elite. Third, they seem to have a long and complicated history with the one known as Hickory. A history of which they speak of fear and regret, yet they never revealed much about it.

Despite all of this he still remains laid-back with a sarcastic but well-meaning personality. However on occasion he has been sent into a fearful panic at news of something distressing.

Hickory,

The Sovereign of Creeperwoods.

The being known as Hickory is truly ancient, having been born into a shattered and broken realm before creation itself. They are the first of the Mossfolk, a race of sentient creepers, and founder of countless civilizations. Yet for all their efforts, no realm of their's shall last eternal. This is because they are stricken with a curse from their primordial homeland. This curse is an instability of reality which causes the ancient tyrant to randomly be dragged into new and unpredictable world. Without their guiding hand their masterworks all fall to ruins and memorials to ages long forgotten eventually.

Currently they reside deep within the northern woodlands of a world called Chronicle. Here is where their current story unfolds. They by chance have taken on stewardship of a young drake, and now find their days consumed with ruling their territory, caring for the drake, and navigating the confusing web of gods and mortals that exist within this world.
