I wrote this song in 2010 after BP’s Deepwater Horizon Oil Rig exploded spilling massive amounts of oil into THE GULF OF MEXICO, which was further polluted by the chemicals used to attempt to clean up the oil. The song was in reaction to feeling like we were doomed and it was all because of rich men’s greed. It’s a sad song with some hope sprinkled in. I don’t know if taking 6 minutes to listen to this will make you feel better or more sad. Either way, I’m sorry things are so busted.
