Hi there 👋

Tumblr media
Who am I?
A native Russian speaker, born and raised in St. Petersburg

Currently majoring in linguistics
What can I do?
Teach you to read and write Cyrillic
Help you improve your pronunciation
Explain tricky grammar and subtle lexical nuances
Help you learn to express yourself more naturally and confidently in both speech and writing
Assist you in test preparation, proofread your homework
Help to translate things
Answer your questions about Russian
Share cool linguistic trivia, if pertinent to the lesson :)
Try my best to help you achieve any Russian-related goals you may have!
How does it work?
Online lessons via Zoom/Skype
9€/hour, the first class is free!
I devise an individual flexible study plan for you and use a range of materials, depending on your aims and needs

Lunar Phase Meanings and Associations 🌙
Southern Hemisphere Edition
🌑 New Moon 🌑 — time used for starting anew, personal growth and setting new intentions
Magic: consecrating new tools, cleansing and banishment
When: the moon is directly between the sun and earth, so we see the dark side of the moon
🌒 Waning Moon 🌔 — time used for gratitude and banishing negativity
Magic: cleansing and banishing rituals
When: the sun begins to move further from the moon so we see the first dark crescent until the moon is dark
🌕 Full Moon 🌕 — time used for using power and energy and sealing intentions
Magic: cleansing and charging rituals, manifesting and divination
When: the sun is opposite the moon so we see the entire light side, two weeks after the new moon, for three days before and three days after
🌖 Waxing Moon 🌘 — time used for gaining power and energy and acting on intentions
Magic: love and attraction magic, cleansing and protection rituals
When: the sun begins to move closer to the moon so we see the first crescent of light until the moon is almost full
🌑 Dark Moon 🌑 — time used for regaining energy and reflection
Magic: no magic is performed, focus on personal matters and self care
When: three days before the new moon, the moon cannot be seen in any phase
—————————————
Here’s the explanation for fellow baby witches
Fun fact: The moon appears upside down from Australia! That means the waning/waxing phases appear opposite to how they would from the southern hemisphere, which is why the emojis seem incorrect (this is an edit because im stupid and didnt realise)
It's generally accepted in witchcraft that we get our energy and power from the moon. As the moon goes through different phases, so do our abilities. This is why it's important to pay attention to the moon phases, so we know which forms of magic are best to perform and what time for the highest success rate.
I never did this, and I dont know why, but i regret it. I lost motivation in witchcraft for a while because nothing i seemed to be doing was impacting my life. I had a recent spark that brought me back though, and i regret not paying more attention to this stuff, because i'm a very structured person as it is.
An important note is that this isnt a complete list of all the phases, it's an overview. there are more detailed versions all over tumblr with crescents, gibbouses and quarters, but this is my current understanding at my current level, and one day i'll expand it.
Also, other versions have setting new intentions during the waxing phase, whereas i have it in new moon. This is just personal preference because it's what makes sense to me. If you have questions or corrections, let me know!

Account Introduction!!
I am called by many names but you can call me Metis on this account!! I am transgender and use xenopronouns… So please DNI if you are an anti!
My pronouns : He/Lust/Mew/Fang/Zomb/Vamp/Paw/Plush/Dolly/Moon/Dark/Fluff/Yip/Claw/Rot/Caw/Gore/Whisker/Crow/It
Besides that I post and interact with the following subjects below!
Witchcraft
Demonolatry
Xenogenders/Xenopronouns
Poetry
Art
Literature
Cannibalism
Languages
Philosophy
Spirituality
Native culture
Blogging my life
Studying
There are what I mostly will be interacting/posting about. I am a witch (that is an omnist spiritualist) that practices multiple crafts and believes in well everything. Which leads me to studying in demonolatry, as I feel it calling for me. Of course I am native as well (Ojibwe) so following what I have grown up with I am heavy with spirituality! And what my tribe has taught me ofcofc.
Besides all of that I am interested in art, as I have a passion in drawing. But besides art I am deeply in love with poetry, although my poem writing is still a bit rusty… Literature is my beloved as it brings knowledge and loveable stories to life. But besides literature I am quite interested in philosophy, as it is an interesting topic. Being interested in philosophy leads me to also love studying for my future. As I wish to be land in an amazing college suited for my wishes. And learning languages will definitely help with that! I know English fluently, and I know a bit of Russian, Japanese, and Ojibwemowin. But I wish to become fluent in all of these languages. And perhaps even other languages will appear before me to learn.
All of this will lead to me blogging about my life I suppose. But of course there is two odd balls in that list. The first one I will mention is xenogenders and xenopronouns, I am heavily involved with both the mogai community and otherkin community as I support both. And I like to give my support by liking and interacting with whatever I can. And the next subject would be cannibalism. Someone I know is a cannibal while also not being a criminal. So I wish to study about cannibalism and see ways to help that person I love dearly. Without going down a dark path… Even if consuming human flesh will affect them in the long end.

Thee Pain Hurts
As thy arm fails on me,
as thy heart pierces with agony,
as thy head screeches in pain,
as thy leg collapses from weakness,
I wonder as to why such pain is still new.
Every moment feels like it hasn’t before,
as if I have not been suffering for 5 years.
I wish for the day pain won’t hurt.
Even though that is what pain is.
Something hurtful,
causing thou to lose motivation.
Such is a great description of thyself,
As I am forever to be in pain.

Occultism research list
I've done a separate research list for occultism as it's such a huge topic within witchcraft. Here I'll be covering some things for you to research about occultism and will be posting about in the near future!
This list will also include research topics for baneful magick so I dont have to create a separate list in the future. As always, remember to cross reference anything you come across (yes even this!), even the greatest witch makes mistakes, we are only human after all! Enjoy!
Alchemy
Aleister Crowley (a big name in the world of occultism, hes credited with creating the religion of Thelema as well as much more!)
Baneful warding (this will be covered in my next post about warding)
Blood magick
Ceremonial magick
Curses
Daemonolatry
Daemonology
Enochian magick
Gematria
Goetic magick
Hexes
History of Occultism (it's great to find local history of occultism as well as general history of the topic)
Jinxes
Kameas
Luciferianism
Misconceptions about occultism
Necromancy
Satanism (both theistic and atheistic)
Solomonic magick
All of these are very broad topics and are just the tip of the iceberg which is occultism, theres far, far more topics which you can research. These are only a few ideas after all!

A deity is a mystical presence, like a god, that is worshipped by individuals who believe it commands or wields influence over a characteristic of existence. In the witch world, many worship or work with deities or spirits. However, you never need to do this to be a valid witch, and always hold magic within yourself as well.
Worshipping Vs Working With:
Worship:
Worshipping is to believe, honor, and venerate a spirit or deity. This means not only believing in their existence, but admiring their power and displaying gratitude and loyalty towards them.
Working With:
Working with an entity is different than worshipping, although many consider it important to start worship before working with any spirit or deity. (That doesn’t mean stop when you start working with them though!) This is when an entity comes through with energy, messages, and is willing to guide you.
Terminology:
Aspect:
Aspects are a phrase utilized across various beliefs and in theology to illustrate a particular manifestation or perception of a deity or spirit. Subject on the religion, these may possibly be separate, overlapping, or methods of perceiving or conceptualizing the deity in a distinct context.
Devotee:
A passionate or fervent believer in a particular religion, deity, or spirit. To explain further, an individual who is completely devoted and given almost exclusively to conviction, and one who is spiritually committed to conscientious obligations, principles, and ceremonies.
Devotion:
An act of prayer, offering, or ritual, generally cast in private. This can range from playing music, to writing poetry for them. Devotions are often considered to occur solely in the mornings in some cultures.
Epithet:
In Hellenic and European primitive times, an epithet was a informative term to be associated with or occurring in place of the name of a deity or spirit. These epithets are repeated continuously in their ancient literary works, and this phrase is used to specify the characteristics of a deity or spirit.
Matron:
A distinct Goddess you feel most linked and relaxed working in alongside, and can often be demonstrated within themselves. The amount of Matrons an individual may have is a subject to preference.
Offering:
An offering is to put forward something to a deity is to show and recognize allegiance, appreciation, and passion. Offerings are usually given in devotions, in veneration of, and general rituals.
Oracle:
A human being that an entity is conducted to answer when consulted, they convey messages through this deity with the ability of communication of them. Oracles are considered to be dead to many, although there are reconstructionists today.
Patron:
A distinct Goddess or God you feel most connected and comfortable working in conjunction with, and is often displayed within their temperament. The number of patrons a human can have is a matter of choice, although most individuals choose one as their principal spirit.
Priest:
A priest is a human certified to execute the blessed traditions of a religion, deity, or spirit. A Priest is regarded as an authority, and often requires an initiation. This is also sometimes referred to as a High Priest.
Priestess:
A priestess is a woman certified to execute the blessed traditions of a religion, deity, or spirit. A Priestess is regarded as an authority, and often requires an initiation. This is also sometimes referred to as a High Priestess.
Veneration:
To venerate is to worship, respect, and admire another. Metaphysically, veneration is often used as a term of worship to a spirit or deity. Unquestionable and unconditional belief can be associated with this term.
