After a month of Whump, it’s gonna be Fluff Time!!

Hello! This is Fluffvember, a month long event of pure fluff and comfort! This was originally an idea made by @/kjpurplepineapple, to follow a month of whump (whumptober) with a month of fluff, and I loved it so much I’ve just carried it on for the last two years. :) Figured I’d make some prompts so we could all have fun together.

RULES:

The prompts are listed in a numerical order, but they are not tied to any given day. Do whatever prompt on whatever day you like! If prompt #1 appeals to you but you don’t have time to get it done by November 1, do it any day of the month. :) You are also more than welcome to just stick to the order listed.

Writing/art can be pure unadulterated fluff, calm slice of life moments, easygoing reading… it can even be hurt/comfort! As long as the comfort heavily outweighs the hurt, all warm, fuzzy vibes are welcome. ❤️ The point of this event is to share nice vibes, both to our characters and each other. :)

I am SO curious about why you'd assign the element of water to Twilight Princess. Care to share your thoughts?

/TAKES A DEEP BREATH IN/

To me water is the element of change, which is just central in Twilight Princess. It is interwoven not just in the story but also in the characters.

All important characters in TP undergo transformations that completely change their personality, whether it's Link turning into a Wolf, Midna turning into an imp and back and also changing her personality along the way or Colin finding courage and becoming brave. In the end, all these characters remain the same people, but still fundamentally grow.

I also see Link continuously entering different areas of Hyrule and encountering them changed as him 'going beneath the surface'. This is a world you haven't seen like this ever before. This is the equivalent of the murky waters at the bottom of a lake that looked very peaceful from above.

Not just that! Water is also an element of healing and purity in Twilight Princess (see the various fairy springs) and also the setting where our story kicks off. Link and Rusl had their iconic conversation at the Ordon spring, and the kids + Ilia got stolen away at that very same lake.

There's just a bunch of links (lol) to water and change in Twilight Princess, which makes me associate it with it hehe.
