Farewell message for You Are My Lover Friend

《 You Are My Lover Friend 》is a story about friendship transforming into love. Many viewers express their hope for a "one household, one extension" to show their affection for Jiang Shiyan, and as the series comes to an end, he wishes to formally thank everyone.

When I first read the script, my initial feeling was that Jiang Shiyan was quite perfect; it’s hard to find any major flaws in his role as a son, a boss, and a boyfriend. But upon rereading, I sensed the complex and delicate world hidden beneath his perfect exterior. Growing up in a single-parent family and helping his mother sell seafood, Jiang Shiyan matured early, displaying a sense of propriety, balance, and boundaries that led him to retreat to what he believed was a safe and steady position. However, as the "brotherly" bond deepened, his initial youthful admiration could no longer be ignored. I really like what Jiang Shiyan once said, "True love is not blind courage, but rather being caught between a rock and a hard place." Beyond these subtle emotions lies his deep respect and care for Tang Tang.

It is precious for me to know such a Jiang Shiyan at this age. Standing with him, I gain a deeper understanding from within, but perhaps that is just the essence of life: being strong yet timid because of love, being steadfast or lingering because of belief, being premeditated because of reluctance, and not wanting to let go because of that premeditation. Jiang Shiyan, you really know how to do it.

Thank you, Xiao Wangjie Wang Yuwen, for always catching my lame jokes. Thank you to the director and the crew of the "Reluctant Stars" for providing us with such a lively work atmosphere; you all have injected vibrant life into Jiang Shiyan!
