Violet
It had been raining heavily outside for several hours. Charles sighed resignedly. He had already redone everything he could, even tidied up the apartment a little, but he was still bored.
You were at your friend's birthday party and didn't realize about his suffering.
Charles looked around the room for the umpteenth time, and his gaze fell on the soccer ball in the corner. He came up with a brilliant idea to practice giving passes.
At first, everything went well, the ball bounced off the wardrobe and fell right at Charles' feet. But at one point, the ball bounced unsuccessfully off the wardrobe and flew out the window. There was a crash..
It's your favorite flower that's fallen. The pot with the beautiful violet was now lying on the floor, and the ground had crumbled. The smile instantly faded from Charles's face, and his heart sank treacherously.
"How will she react?" he thought and began to collect the ground.
When that was done, he poured the ground into the pot, right on top of the violets, and put it back on the windowsill.

"Did you play soccer in the apartment?" you went up to him and wanted to hug him, when suddenly your gaze fell on a flower standing on the windowsill. He was covered in dirt.
"Charles, what's wrong with it?" But there was no response. Turning around, you saw Charles putting on his shoes and storming out of the apartment.
While he was gone, you tried to put the flower in order and wash it from the ground. A couple of times you wondered where your boyfriend had gone, until you heard the sound of the door opening.
Charles came into the apartment, soaked from head to toe, and in his hands he had a small box.
"This is for you," he handed you the box with a big smile. When you opened it, you saw..
"A cactus? Are you serious?" You exclaimed and looked at him.
"They're the only ones left in the store," Charles replied resentfully.
You stroked his still wet hair and hugged him. He hugged you back. After a few seconds, he exclaimed happily.
"I remembered, there was also a flycatcher! I'll buy it next time!" and you laughed together.
The next day, he actually bought you a flycatcher...
