Matt Skiba facts!

(I’ll add more as I go along but felt like doing a facts series, if you have any musicians you’d like me to do next just let me know!) x

- He’s been meat free since 1996 and his sister had a huge influence on that decision, she never liked meat or eggs while they were children and thought it was really gross and cruel and so did he.

- Matt loves motorbikes and has been driving motocross since he was a kid. he and his friends used to make their own tracks and mess around, he’s also a great snowboarder.

- Matt has always been very active, as a kid he used to snowboard often and these days he skates, surfs, and even cycles on a regular basis.

- One of Matts prize possessions is a 86 haro master that he built himself, as a kid he always dreamed of one but could never afford it so he swore to himself he would one day build one and keep it safe.

- Matts favourite guitar is his custom green Fender Jaguar that also features his rune symbol you may often see on his merch.

- Matt owns two Ducati’s which he describes as “his pride and joy” ones a Ducati sport 1000 and the other is a custom scrambler he named “Billie” after billie joe Armstrong.

- Matt has many tattoos including “love song” written on his knuckles, and “braaaap!” on his finger.

- Matt owns many pets, including a Pitbull named Penny or “Penny Whistle” Lohner, she features in his “home is such a lonely place” video along with his other beautiful pit bull breeds.

- Matt can play 8 instruments.
