I just wanted to say write what you know and think up the rest! If you aren’t sure if it’s accurate who cares it’s fiction! As an American who reads a lot of stuff from British authors I’m constantly seeing wrong things when their characters live in America but idc because it’s their world and I just continue reading! I read a whole baseball fan fiction where she made the playoffs shorter than what it is but her writing was stellar and tbh it wasn’t that important to the plot so I loved it!
