as someone who has/occasionally plays a saw it really is just the angle haha. the bow has to be placed right and the saw has to be bent right for it to properly make its music, it can be a bit of a hassle ... you also have to press on it harder than you may expect to. there's a reason the bows of some players (mine) are so frayed lol :-)

Okay question to the sawists that read my blog

Is it normal for when people who are beginning can’t make it a loud sound when playing with their bow? Whenever I hit it with the back of my bow it can make louder sounds
