Grammys: The Red Carpet
Recently there’s been a number of red carpet events all of which included unique and spirited outfits in all styles that were creatively shown off boasting new trends developed by esteemed developers as well unseen fashion statements making their debut on the red carpet. One event in particular displayed a collection of clothing than ranged from beautiful and elegant to odd and extremely outgoing. This event would be the 2017 Grammys.

As always Rihanna’s outfit was nothing less than extraordinary. The two piece ensemble perfectly exposes her beauty while highlighting her slim figure with a simple yet effective colour palette consisting of a glitter orange on her top and suede black on the bottom. Not only did Rihanna make a statement but Chance the Rapper’s outfit also had a lot to say.

An all grey suit uniquely equipped with an out of the norm button up jacket which covered and all white dress shirt underneath that displayed class and swagger on equal terms. To top the outfit off Chance pulled out his beloved hat from his own line of clothing in a chestnut brown to complement the similarly coloured dress shoes planted on the red carpet totaling an outfit which not only displays swagger and style but takes effective take on a style that incorporated his beloved personality.

Now for the most controversial outfit of the event. Cee Lo Green appeared with an all gold, jaw dropping outfit not expected by anybody. Cee Lo came with a one piece outfit covering both halfs of the body in a sort of futuristic robe fashion engulfed in gold colour. In addition to the robe he also whipped out an all gold mask similar in shade to that of the robe and to top it all off he included gold coloured leather gloves to hide his hands.

Victoria’s Secret Cancels their Swimsuit Line

In the middle of 2016 many rumours were being spread that Victoria’s Secret was going to stop selling their accessories, clothing items and swimsuit line. This including all bikinis, cover-ups, and shoes online and within each Victoria’s Secret location. 
Victoria’s Secret is almost as well known for their swimsuit line as they are for their lingerie. For many females, Victoria’s Secret swimsuits were always an essential on a warm getaway vacation, now leaving many confused and frustrated as to where they will be able to buy their swimsuits. Victoria’s Secret always had many different styles and colour’s to suit everyone's body shape and style. Victoria’s Secret swim tops ranged in many different sizes, not just your regular extra small, small, medium, large and extra large sizes making it easy for girls to find their exact size as well as being confident and comfortable in a swimsuit. 
If you have been into a Victoria’s Secret location recently you may have noticed a slightly different change, wherever their swimsuits used to be displayed those sections are now filled with Victoria’s Secrets own fitness apparel line. They have a variety of different pieces within their line that range from leggings to sports bras, tank tops, gym accessories and much more. Throughout each of their clothing item’s, it is noticeable that they are trying to have fluent patterns and colour schemes within each piece, making it easy for consumers to want to mix and match their items upon shopping. Their apparel line that is also known as “Victoria Sport” is offered online in a separate section on their website as well in each Victoria Secret Location. One soul benefit to Victoria’s Secret Sport line is the price of their items, compared to a lot of other fitness lines their prices run a lot lower, but has this change made up for them taking away their valued Swimsuit line?

Yohji Yamamoto

Yohji Yamamoto is an influential Japanese fashion designers based in Tokyo and Paris. Considered master tailor, he is well known for his avant-garde tailoring featuring Japanese design aesthetic.
I love everything from Japan. I love their architecture design, their food, their tradition, their philosophy in life. In fact, my next project is to redesign my room to follow the Japanese design! That aside, the reason I choose to talk about him is because I love how his design are so dark and unique yet very practical.
He is an icon because of his asymmetrical, oversize silhouettes, drapery, black colours and avant-garde spirit that not many designers have (cough cough Louis cough Vuitton). His designs always go the opposite direction with couture wear in Paris and avoid using bright colour, funny images with typical silhouettes.  Indifferent to stereotypes, he turns fabric into original, intellectual, texturized pieces and teaches us how to love them, live with them and never treat them seasonally. Hmm a member of slow fashion movement ?

However, that does not mean boring. Despite the fact that he loves the use of somber hues and curious silhouettes, Yamamoto still insists that “menswear has to be fun…some sort of meaningless excitement, something you could laugh about”. His collection in 2016 clearly showed many design ranging from smart, sophisticated to a more boyish, slouchy yet clean design.

His way of designing has, in my opinion, inspired lots of designers. Looking at the current trend right now you can clearly see his design aesthetic is being follow by many designers such as Burberry.

In my opinion, he is the prime example of not doing what people expect you to do but do what you really passionate about. By following his own way he as made an impact on the fashion industry around the world.

NIKE INTRODUCES “PRO-HIJAB”

Nike being one of the most influential sports companies in the world, has launched “Pro Hijab”. This sporting attire allows female Muslim athletes to wear to compete in high-level sporting events while still wearing the appropriate attire. Nike has launched the “Pro Hijab” head covering made of lightweight, stretchy polyester that will allow Muslim women to play sports without head scarves that can affect their performance. These hijabs will retail at $35 launching Spring 2018. Nike says they have collaborated with several athletes during the creation process, including Amna Al Haddad a female weightlifter from the United Arab Emirates as well as figure skater Zahra Lari.
In the past hijabs in sporting events have been a controversial subject as many Muslim women have been banned or discriminated from athletic events due to uniform restriction their hijabs violated .Nikes new product launch has created lots of talk and media coverage because its the first time a big sporting brand has created a product specific to Muslim women. Nike’s “pro hijab” caused much debate in the political world, however many commentators are calling it a game-changer for directing attention and giving voices to Muslim women who have been kept out of sports because of social stigmas and regulations against wearing a hijab while competing. Nike has crated a statement that is cultural shift, empowering women, particularly middle-eastern women and their acceptance and inclusion in high-level sports. This new fashion item is a social footprint and hopefully encourages other big sporting companies to continue to recognize women in sports.

Xavier Wulf made his appearance as a notable rap star late in 2015 shaking the music world with his creative and outgoing take on the art of rap. His up-beat and hardcore rap style stuck in the minds of thousands with hit songs such as “Psycho Pass” and “Thunder Man” but eventually Xavier’s sense of fashion became even more noticeable than the music he was creating. In time Xavier developed his own clothing line and made it available to the public as merchandise. As he worse his own merchandise to the concerts that attracted sold out crowds, people started to take notice. Soon enough, the clothing line started to sell more than his records due to the unique style, admirable logo and highly recognized brand name “Hollow Squad��� printed on all his attire. 
The clothing line became a popular brand known well amongst the fashion world and started to become comparable to well known and established brands. Xavier adjusted to the popularity of his new brand and continued to develop new trends that shook the fashion world the same way he shook the rap industry with his creativity and uniqueness. The brand currently competes on similar levels with high end brands even though most of their inventory is considered fairly cheap in comparison. Hollow Squad constantly releases exclusive items with limited supply to keep their brand exclusive and trendy.
Xavier Wulf implements all types of clothing to his brand including sweaters, jackets, accessories and more. Essentially, the attire was made for fans but as of recent the brand has been focused on becoming an important part to the fashion industry setting new trends daily and mesmerizing many with the brand s seasonal releases.

Fashion can be expressed in many different forms, whether it is the outer layer or what you wear underneath that layer which goes mostly unseen. Lingerie has been a major fashion trend and rocks the market with sales. The number 1 brand in terms of sales and celebrity buzz is Victoria Secret. The brand has become such a phenomenon that a fashion show is held every year starring the worlds biggest models and a celebrity artist that performs during the show.

Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Adriana Lima are the most talked about super models in the world. They have also been the top runner-ups for the fashion show for the past 2 years. Each model carries a different lingerie look to express the variety that victoria secret has to offer. Gigi Hadid goes for more of a gothic black lace and strappy look, while Kendall Jenner’s outfit is more of a two color mysterious look. Adriana Lima is known to go all out with color and be the one to try out the most daring lingerie looks.

Its no surprise really that athletes from all over the world make headlines on game night with their outfits pre and post game. From the NBA to English Premier Soccer, athletes have created their own unique looks with some of the most expensive, and exclusive pieces. 
Lebron James
From being drafted in one of the baggiest white suits we’ve ever seen, to making his way to the car after a win an in $1100 Balenciaga coat. With an estimated net worth of over $250 Million dollars, its really chump change to him to break necks and tabloids, if he’s even really trying. From diamond chains, earrings $51,000 and a deal for limited edition Audemars Piguet watches, he basically has it all. With some help also from Rachel Johnson whom is a fashion designer who has helped players such as Victor Cruz, Lebron was introduced into high end fashionable pieces that give him a more sophisticated look to go with his persona.

David Beckham which has become a house hold name, has been recognized for his incredible sense of style as well a a flawless combination of artistic tattoos and a “street style” aesthetic. To match his countless amounts of high end cars, trucks and motorcycles, its no shock he would be known his taste. From hairstyles like the man bun, to a clean gentlemen cut, he’s been the first to start trends internationally. Currently residing in Los Angeles, its no surprise that he’s constantly surrounded by paparazzi trying to uncover what his latest outfit is. Somehow, he has maintained a timeless look no matter what outfit he’s in. Whether it be a suit to ripped jeans and St Laurent Paris Chelsea boots, he kills it, constantly.

Whats The Hype?
As an 18-year-old, poor college student I never understood why I spent so much money on certain name brand items that I could easily get for much cheaper. A perfect example of this is Hunters. Hunter Rain boots (tall) retail for around $160 before tax, when the exact same rain boots without the logo retail at around $20.00 that can be purchased at places such as Walmart, TSC, and Winners. Society has this perception that the brand in which you choose to purchase and wear determines a lot about who you are as a person. In certain cases, individuals care more about the name brand and less about the actually quality of the product, for examples two pairs of tall black rain boots, one has the small Hunters logo on it, one does not, they made from the exact same materials and likely the same factory, but are vastly different in cost. Many of us will choose the $200 rain boots because it gives us a sense of higher status and sense of acceptance in our judgmental society.

ACNE Studios.
“The Vikings are coming and this time they are not wearing silly hats”.
In case you have no idea. Scandinavian fashion is taking the world by storm and leading the charge is ACNE studios!
The name might sound off putting to many people but It is actually short for a pretty amazing name - Ambition to Create Novel Expressions.
This is my favourite fashion brand. Period.
A little bit of back story. The brand was found in 1996 with only 10,000 Euros and an ambitious dream to create something new. Surprisingly, it started out specializing in advertising, film and productions. Maybe I could create my own fashion brand once I graduated from Sheridan college with an Advertising diploma. Who knows! Anyway, till 1997 the founder, named Johnny Johansson, decided to make 100 pair of jeans with red stitching and everyone loves it. Thus, a fashion powerhouse was born.

What do I love about the brand? Everything!
The brand philosophy is to create simple, functional clothes with attention to details. All ACNE clothes are simple clothing with little different from other brands yet somehow ACNE manage to stand out of the crowd by using perfect mix of colours and high quality materials. However, what make me really like the brand is their quirky little details that you can find on almost all of their products. It is simple, minimal but not boring.

Personally, I think the fashion industry is becoming crowed and saturated with lots of weird, impractical, overnight trendy clothes. Then ACNE studios came and remind everyone that fashion needs to be functional as well. Even the great DaVinci agree with this too. He once said “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. I think ACNE style is not only ready-to-wear, but easy to wear. “It mimics Scandinavian furniture design, with its simplicity and focus on fusing both form and function into clothes that work, rather than just look the part. Like a mini ikea for fashion”.  
At the end of the day, fashion is subjective. Beauty is subjective. What I think is nice and beautiful may be ugly to someone else eyes. Personally, I like clothes that are simple and timeless and that is why ACNE currently is my favourite brand.

A$AP Rocky & Fashion
New York born rapper A$AP Rocky has made quite the impact in the fashion world over the years. From collaborating with legendary designers such as Raf Simons and Guess to being the face of the popular brand Dior, A$AP Rocky has constantly expressed his interest towards fashion even within his music. In early 2013, images surfaced online of A$AP Rocky wearing his collab with Raf Simons and shook the fashion community as Raf wouldn’t work with just anyone.

 With Rocky having an eye towards a more vintage side of fashion, him collaborating with Guess Denim for his own collection gave him the exact platform he needed. Releasing a line of vintage Guess clothing such as overalls, stripped shirts, and assorted denims was a huge success for him as it was sold out everywhere throughout the world.

 His venture into the fashion world didn’t just stop there, his clique A$AP (Always $trive And Prosper) is known for popping up at various fashion weeks throughout the world. In the most recent Fall and Winter 2017 Paris Fashion Show Dior brought out A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg both draped in unreleased Dior Homme outfits. Rocky is also known to make appearances at VFILES fashion shows with his A$AP partner Playboi Carti who would then perform as the models run the runway.

 A$AP Rocky first broke out into the mainstream world when he dropped his first album in 2013, Long. Live. A$AP, which was critically acclaimed by many. After creating a stage for himself he was able to provide a stage for his friends by bringing the A$AP collective to another level. Known for mentioning various luxury brands in his music such as Goyard, Saint Laurent, and more, A$AP Rocky has been able to become a staple in the fashion community worldwide by simply being himself.

ACRNM
For those who do not know Errolson Hugh is the CEO of ACRONMY and someone with one of the most unique looks in contemporary fashion. He is originally from Edmonton, but is now living and working and Berlin. Hugh was always one who was disregarded and looked down upon in fashion. However, ACRONYM, his clothing line is currently one of the most respected and admired brands on the planet and was started in the early 2000’s.
Hugh’s clothing line is created by using multiple unique techniques, materials, fabrics and overall unique designs. Aside from the obvious and apparent technical aspects of his brand, he draws techwear enthusiasts to his brand through the uniqueness of his own looks and designs.  Despite their high price points and limited production runs, the look of the brand stood out and it spread quickly. And with it, the awareness of the creator. Their creations and outerwear is what stood out to the public's eye and with their use of such techniques, they were able to make versatile clothing.
It was only through catching the attention of big brands, such as Nike and CEO Mark Parker, that Hugh was brought on board to work on its long dormant ACG line which did not gather much attention. The result was a muted success amongst the followers of this technical apparel. The following year was when they made a big step for the brand when they collaborated with Nike officially and released the Nike x ACRONYM Lunar Force 1 SP which was one of the most unique looks of such a historical sneaker which was only the start in 2015.
The brand seems to have such a much bigger idea other than making clothing. It is as if you are preparing for such an uncertain future with this type clothing. You could say that it is something that you would read about in science fiction or perhaps in anime.
This is only the start of ACRONYM’s reign and it will continue to grow and expand over time. This is their 3rd year collaborating with Nike and with its technical look. It is great to see how technical wear/style are starting to influence a lot of people due to its exposure thanks to their collaboration with Nike. It is clearly seen that although it is only the beginning to this new look and fashion, that it is here to stay for a while. Unlike most fashion trends, I believe this one will stick around for quite some time.
Through 3 unique collaborative sneakers with Nike, they have made such an impact on the way we now look at style and clothing. As well as many more ways to be open to new fashion trends and style of others. With its Nike Air Force 1’s they surprised their audience. Many others see that they are not as predictable as they think. Nike x ACRONYM could have easily made it water repellent, but they decided to do something new and uncommon which was to add a zipper onto the shoe. That one move made them stand out a lot more than an ordinary Nike shoe. The second shoe that ACRONYM added their own twist to was the Nike Air Prestos. To these, they added zippers and a clasp to zipper them up quickly and efficiently. As for the Nike Air Force 1’s, that have now been released Downtown again, they added a sock like structure to the shoe and also added a military quick release strap to add the technical aspect to it and was officially released February 6th, which makes it the most recent shoe.
They do not only work on shoes but much more, they add utilization and practicality to their clothing by adding secret compartments, zippers and concealed pockets to their advantage. Their brand started with clothing, and now their shoes have also proven the amount of versatility and creativeness that they are capable of. Their aim is not to look at the clothing from a fashion or abstract standpoint but from a real and practical point. They push every aspect of the process right down to the fabric, textile, style and ultimately how it is worn and used. It is conceived as a system, it is aware of its environment and is an enabler, both technical and aesthetic.
With all this being said, it is clear to see that ACRONYM is only on the come up and has much more to show in the upcoming future. This brand has been on the rise quickly and has received a lot of controversy. But with all this being said, who knows what they will create next. They only seem to be collaborating with brands that have a good name for them such as Nike and Stone Island. Only time will tell if this trend will last, but if you ask me, this is only the tip of the iceberg.

Importance of Accessories: 2017′s Biggest Trends
Growing up as a kid there were always new trends and fads for accessories that would influence our style based on what was in at the time, an example being chains hanging from skater jeans. Accessories like that are meant to stay in the past.
Accessories are an important asset in a mans wardrobe as they not only make you look great, but give you more confidence and help to enhance your style for the better. Accessories are a great way to get your wardrobe into top gear and start the new year off right and with that in mind i’m going to be talking to you about some of the up and coming trends for accessories in mens fashion for 2017.
Chelsea boots
Chelsea boots are leading the forefront into 2017 as the top choice for people who like stylish looks or lazy dressers alike. You can dress chelsea up or down depending the occasion. The option to go casual or formal is a great for guys who love variety and the versatility it provides. Whats new about chelsea boots are the new attention to detail that designers are adding that are making them even more popular. Things like slip on silhouettes and footwear that can tackle snow makes computing somewhere in the snow easier than ever.

A trend that is always in style, classic sunglasses but this time aviators in particular. This is the perfect accessory for the upcoming summer. A rise in popularity during 2017 because of actors like brad Pitt, Jared Leto and Dwayne Wade these sunglasses are always a style that people come back to when another trend is over, coincidence I think not. The style and simplistic colours are something that wont go out of style because they are timeless pieces in mens fashion that transcend other eyewear trends and are well worth the investment to add to your wardrobe.

Paris Fashion Week
Paris Fashion Week is an bi-annual event held in Paris, France. The top designers such as Louis Vuitton, Vetements, Rick Owens, Balmain and countless more on from around the world present their latest collections in runway shows to investors and the media.
 Where you can find fashion, celebrities are sure to follow behind. Stars such as Usher, Kardashians, Kanye West & Justin Bieber were among the hundreds of celebs spotted at different events across the city. Celebrities have always helped shape and influence fashion trends amongst their fans and media.
 A personal favorite for many recently has been Vetements. Lead by Demna Gvasalia who was named  head designer in 2014 for the brand has worked for brands such as Louis Vuitton and Maison Martin Margiela. With a high price point per piece, and some what of a less traditional take at style, Vetements has surprisingly been taking the street-fashion world..(and our pockets) by storm.

Something nobody anticipated was the highly-desired collaboration from heavy weight Louis Vuitton and street wear brand Supreme. Respectfully, both to their genres of style have owned the market and wowed consumers with some of the most sought after pieces of all time. Confirmed at the 2017 PFW, Louis Vuitton presented their collaboration. Products have been seen from Wallets, t-shirts to $68,000 trunks for clothing. Crazy, right? You’d think, but waves have splashed worldwide in one of the most anticipated hype-beast drops of our lifetimes. Travis Scott was one of the first to his social media to share early pieces of the collaboration which can be seen below.

Historical Icons influence on Fashion Industry: Marilyn Monroe & Audrey Hepburn

There have been countless fashion icons over the years that have influenced fashion trends today. Specifically Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn whose iconic style is still idolized and influenced in today’s fashion. These women’s “look” are simply timeless and unaffected by trends with their inescapable confidence making anything they wear simply desirable. 
 Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn Monroe who first began a career as a model, which led to a film contract in 1946. Marilyn’s fashion style is described as sex appealing and glamorous. She is well known for her classic red lip in an era of boring colors, her red lip sophisticated an outfit which we still see trending today. Marilyn never wore anything loose fitting. Everything she wore was tightly fitted and extenuated her extremely hourglass figure. Munroe’s favourite accessory is diamonds. She was never seen in colored jewelry. Diamonds were her specialty.  She found little known designers and boosted them to fame by wearing their designs such as Ferragamo, Gucci, Oleg Cassini, Emilio Pucci, etc. Many decades later, Marilyn’s style is still raved about today, and often mimicked. She embraced her curvaceous figure, highlighted her assets and minimized her flaws. In using her body as a tool, she mixed sex and fashion creating tremendous results.

 Audrey Hepburn
Audrey was an actress and model of the 1950’s and 1960’s who’s known for being one of the biggest style icons in our time. Her most memorable look was the little black dress, diamonds and pearls, and white gloves in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” that she made every woman want to have. Audrey Hepburn’s fashion style was very simple, elegant and feminine, as she loved clean lines and clothes that emphasized her tall and slim figure. Her main fashion designer Hubert Givenchy has put both her and the designer in the history of fashion. Her iconic sense of style still inspires women today, such as fitted pants, cropped silhouettes and assortments of hats and earrings.

H&M and Collaborations
Over the years H&M has managed to become a dominant name in both male and female fashion and have built a reputation well known amongst not only fashion enthusiasts but celebrities as well. Due to the accumulated recognition, H&M has been granted the opportunity of collaborating with many different celebrities and fashion influences known well within the industry. Collaborations with the greatly revered Isabel Marant, Versace and Balmain are just a few on a list of many when it comes to H&M collaborators that managed to shake the fashion world with ground breaking trends. 
In 2016 H&M collaborated with Kenzo, a considerable brand acknowledged for their incorporation of Japanese and Asian culture in European fashion. The collaboration was brought together through a common outlook on the industry and similar ideals. Both brands trying to stay a step ahead and in control of the fashion industry caused the unlikely duo to pair up creating an outspoken line of male and female attire. The collection the two labels managed to put together seamlessly assimilated a template rich in colour with influences from pieces Kenzo had created in the 70's, 80's and 90's and pieces created from H&M in the past 5 years. The collaboration seen great success amongst critics and consumers with mass sales seen in several different countries.

With many past and current collaborations, H&M always proves to be on the edge of fashion industry creating numerous collections loved by many. H&M is a looker when it comes to working with others and always has another collaboration lined up for the next season. The next collaboration which is sure to be a hit is with pop star The Weeknd which releases in March so keep your eyes out for that line and the tremendous uproar it's sure to make!

For those who don't know this young 22 year old, he is the face of the brand “Pastelle”, Kanye West’s clothing line - a brand that was left for dead in 2008. Through Ian’s unique sense of style and the bold way he has expressed himself on social media, though seen as cocky and ignorant by some, he has left an imprint on the street fashion community. Ian’s career first started off by being rapper Wiz Khalifa’s personal stylist, which from then on changed his fashion sense in every possible aspect. Then began the progressive career of the “king”.
Last year, Ian had made appearance in Yeezy Season 1, one of the most iconic fashion shows of 2016. He began to smoke in the middle of these fashion shows which then made his appearance in them a lot more controversial. During Yeezy Season 3, which was held in Madison Square Garden, he pulled the same stunt. However, this time he was surrounded by some of the most iconic individuals of 2016 such as Lil Yachty, Young Thug, Luke Sabbat and much more. His connections with Kanye West, Virgil Abloh and ASAP Bari have given him many opportunities to create and to do what he loves. With all this controversy, you will begin to see how the King would then regress into a downward spiral, which would soon enough result in his de-throning.
Ian has recently had some issues with ASAP Bari who was one of the founding members in the ASAP (Always Strive Always Prosper) group and they had gotten into a heated discussion, but then decided to brawl it out. This all started when Theophilus London brought up Ian Connor’s rape allegations which then caused a brawl between the two. Although soon enough even when it was all settled, they took to twitter and continued to “throw shade” to one another. Despite all of this, I find that Ian Connor is still the “King of the Youth” and deserves the throne considering all the hard work he has put in. After all this, still arises a successful entrepreneur at the young age of 22. Although there are a handful of people who tweet negative statements to and about him on the daily, Ian remains unphased and active on social media, showing love to those who continue to support him.

A note to the current fashion.
Today’s mainstream fashion industry relies heavily on globalized, mass production where garments are being designed, produced and transported at a rapid rate. Clothes are being produced fast and inexpensively to keep up the fashion trend. As a result, we as consumers buy more clothes than what we really needed. We often buy clothes out of the inexpensiveness of the items when it is on sale rather than because we love them. Consequently, this practice of overconsumption put a heavy strain on the environment and the earth. Fossil fuel, woods, cotton and other materials are being unsustainable exploited. Human rights are being violated as workers are often being forced to work long hours and get paid unfairly.
Have a look at your closet. How many items do you have? How many of them do you wear everyday?
What is slow fashion?
Slow fashion is is not a fashion trend but rather a rejection of trend-led seasonal fashion. It is about making fewer purchases with a philosophy of placing quality over quantity. It encourages consumer to make a thoughtful and conscious purchases regarding whether the items are being made in a ethical, sustainable manner. With that being said, it does not mean not buying anything at all. Sure, it does not hurt to lust after and buy an item that you do not really need but rather want. Slow fashion simply ask consumers to made purchases with a conscious and respectable manner taking into consideration whether the items will add and enrich their lives or they will just be things that will be thrown into a pile of things which will be discarded later.
Food for thought.
It is important to understand that slow fashion movement is not about living by a set of rule. It is about introducing sustainability in our way of living. It is about making your personal statement through the clothes that you wear with an awareness of the connections with others and environment and the willingness to act responsibly.
