Young King Sinbad

The Details 

There are a lot of little details in this one, so this is going to be lengthy. The tunic is white peachskin with pleats in the front and back & features embroidered cuffs (a gold feather and little rukh birds) and gold trim on the bottom. The vest is violet matte satin, lined in lilac with gold trim.  The robe is a beautiful brocade that shimmers between blue and violet depending on how the light hits it. It's lined in a vibrant blue. The belt and hanging sash are actually two separate pieces for versatility. The belt is a navy stretch taffeta with a bronze and pearl brooch sewn onto the center. The sash features a Sindria emblem made from worbla, painted gold. The turban is white taffeta with purple chiffon and blue crystals weaved into the braiding. A single ostrich feather surrounded by turquoise and beige peacock feathers against an ornate triangle made from worbla and painted gold with a turquoise gem in the center. The scarf is purple crepe back satin with the Sindria emblem embroidered on the bottom

Young King Sinbad 

Moony likes to call this her Art Nouveau Sinbad. She designed and crafted it for @sleepy-sly (because she adores their Sinbad cosplay) and they were gracious enough to do this very beautiful, very Sindria-esq shoot for her in return. <3

King Sinbad and Ja'far - Magi the Labyrinth of Magic

I made everything for Sinbad and 90% of Ja'far for my spouse ( @rainsdollies ). Pretty sure I covered the making of in a previous post about this costume so I won’t prattle on too long. I will just say I love how these photos turned out! ( Despite the rain)

The culmination of three months of plotting and sewing!  This Gabumon plushie is 27 inches tall including his horn.  He’s mostly fleece except for his eyes, nose and teeth.  Machine sewn applique details and a pattern built completely from scratch.  He’s enormous and would make a perfect companion for a Digimon Cosplay.

This comfy and adorable Sailor Moony school uniform was another order for our big May rush!  It was made of cotton and sent with a beautiful Princess Serenity dress as well.  Moony’s still working on the pictures of that.

Just before our May rush of work we finished this beautiful Hufflepuff robe.  This is what got Moony Couture started.  We originally made dozens (and dozens!) of these great Harry Potter styled school robes.  Now that the movie is coming out, I’m so excited to get to go back and make more of these!  You should definitely plan ahead to get yours before Fantastic Beasts comes out in November.

From our extremely fun wig hat line, we have our great Vocaloid Miku hat.  This adorable design has the benefit of having a built in scarf for when it gets cold.  All that hair has to be good for something.  ^_^  It can also be used for a simple wig for casual cosplay days.  Much more comfortable than wearing a wig cap.

And there you have it. This was a big order, but I enjoyed every moment of it. This Rocky Horror Quartet is off to be part of a new baby’s nursery. ♡♥♡ I’m so excited. About a month ago Moony and I went to the Georgia Renaissance Festival as Sinbad and Ja’far.  Moony’s greatest wish for the entire day was to ride a camel.  As you can tell for her expression in that last picture on the right...she was so excited.  XD  It was an awesome day and we got some fun pictures.
