Also rewatched Inglourious Basterds so I've just been thinking about Daniel Brühl (and thus NIKI LAUDA) a lot recently. This time around I was able to understand the French dialogue and yes Tarantino misses the mark, no fault of his (American) own, but I enjoyed Mélanie Laurent/Shosanna either way + made me miss French cinema

Similarly in Rush, we almost get a 70's European romance film between Niki and Marlene. But prob only to juxtapose Playboy Hunt. Could argue all day about biopics + that god-awful ending but overall was a pretty good rewatch. Made me feel a little more for my favorite race commentator James Hunt too—MY SHAYLA :( Vomiting from fear of death??! Big balls☝  -Ange

Rewatched Matt Damon’s insane performance and the brilliant ensemble piece of Ridley Scott’s The Martian (2015) last night and I’ll just say, bring on my Odysseus.

I know it can be a propaganda piece, Jeff Daniels character is really good at keeping that authority government tension alive so just let me be annoying about Good Will Hunting, Ford v Ferrari (my 2nd fav motorsport movie!!), JASON MF BOURNE, and idk his job on Oppenheimer that’s now making him the lead (probably) in Homer’s THE ODYSSEY.

(Also Seb Stan in this movie, have to mention bc my 13 yr self would kill me if I didn’t🐺🤍)
