Hello everyone! Welcome to the seventh episode of Sims 4 Next Top Model. The last week the theme was Colors, and Sophia took the first place, and sadly, we said goodbye to Destiny.

But first of all, i have to present you, our special judge of this week

For this week’s photoshoot the theme was The four elements, they had a different element and they had to represent it,  Let’s see how they did!

This round we sadly will say goodbye to two great contestants that had to drop out of the competition, Medina and Jude! We will miss you both of you<3

Maybe someone already asked you this (if that's the case, feel free to ignore) but I'm just curious. What videos would you recommend to watch for someone who wants to learn how to make their own meshes? I'd personally want to learn how to but I'm too intimidated by Blender. Any tips you could give to a beginner?

Oh my goodness anon, I totally know the feels. I played around in blender for months before I sat down and started to try and learn it correctly. I don't mind at all giving you some tips from my personal experience!

Breathe, then take the opportunity to sit down and get familiar with the program. Open it and look around, try to familiarize yourself with the ui. The most intimidating part about any new software is all of the buttons and baubles that you aren't used to yet.

Here's some videos that are really good for beginners: Beginner Basics <- good for getting you used to blender Blender Beginner Tutorial - Part 1 <- highly recommend it's an 11 part tutorial

Move at your own pace! I'm a pretty quick learner and with practice I can BS my way through a lot of skills but not everyone is like that. Take your time to learn correctly and when you're ready maybe try and make something. When I first started I did simple mesh edits. Shorten a skirt, edit a top, etc. etc.

This videos really helped me with simple mesh edits: Basic Mesh Editing

After doing more edits and learning more about the program I was finally confident enough to learn how to create my own mesh. This was the scariest part, like, how do I even begin? There are a lot of videos on youtube claiming to be meshing tutorials that are good for blender beginners but luckily I was able to find one that really helped me

I'm pretty sure this is a must watch for anyone trying to learn blender: Blender 2.8 Beginner Tutorial <- The Donut tutorial

I'm always searching for helpful videos but these two channels are the ones I am subscribed to and keep referencing for good info:

And finally just have fun. Don't get too frustrated, blender has a bit of a learning curve and it can be hard to see progress at times. But keep going and keep practicing! And don't forget to ask for help if you need it!

Inara Serra, snob, self assured, foodie.

Inara crash landed in Strangerville back in the 80's. She picked up one Vogue magazine, saw the huge shoulder pads and fell in love with human fashion! She never repaired their spaceship, preferring instead to start sewing their own OTT outfits. Trends may have changed over the last 40 years, but Inara is always ahead of the game. She also loves human food and enjoy dining at the most popular restaurants. Just don't ask if her outfit is off the rack!

Hope you like her! Most of her alien genetics are skin details and tattoos, she is only wearing lipstick and eyeliner in the preview so you should be able to change her outfits/make up for your look books. However her left eye heterochromia is a piecing accessory and unfortunately conflicts with some rings and eyelashes. Sorry!
