i’m deleting the tumblr app off my phone and i have deleted my queue. i won’t deactivate my tumblr because i did have good memories here (and on the off chance i might come back - though that most likely won’t be for months, or even a year). to be quite honest, this situation with covid has destroyed my mental health and i feel so tired all the time. the root of all this is being in quarantine but apps like tumblr and twitter make it worse - that’s why i’m deleting both. i used to come on to this app to feel better but it just feels like all i see is negativity these days. i try not to get dragged into it but somehow i do and i don’t like the person i can be on this app sometimes. i’m just sick of feeling tired and angry all the time. and i recognised that to get better, i need to move on from this app because it’s not doing anything for me. i don’t want to be tired anymore. thank you for reading this.

Considering Omar Jimenez was arrested when literally politely asking cops what he should do, the idea that peaceful protesting would fix anything is ridiculous. The cops blatantly lied about his reason for arrest too. The whole fucking thing was caught on camera and they still claimed he had to be arrested because he “wouldn’t move”, which makes no sense in the first place but is even worse considering he was asking where he should move and didn’t get an answer.

there are currently protestors clashing with police directly in front of the white house. Do not spread any videos of this. Do not spread any photos of this. This goes for all protestors in any city in any state. if you have to share a picture completely block out the entire person, do not blur the image as there is software that can undo blurring.

purposely choosing to ignore current events about the murder of black lives, for the sake of not wanting to see any “negativity” is so fucking stupid. blocking that out doesn’t make your fantasy bubble dreamy, it only shows willful ignorance and/or being blinded by your own privilege. that also goes for those who say police brutality is an american problem and it doesn’t affect them— the lack of sympathy is truly telling and anti-blackness exists everywhere so that’s relevant. if you’re present on social media, i guarantee you’re just one click away from at least knowing what the hell is going on. it’s so important these days since misinformation spreads like wildfire.

The arsonist who set fire to the Autozone (video below) in Minneapolis has been identified as officer JACOB PEDERSON, a COP and NOT a protestor attending the Justice for George Floyd protests, by his ex wife. Pigs are framing arson on protestors demanding justice for the murder of an innocent Black man by killer cops.
