"i'm tired" eren mumbled into your neck, hands wrapped around your waist while he pressed his entire body weight onto your side ; which he found more comfortable than the grass underneath the both of you. the hill you two were lying on gave you the perfect sight of the sunset. the orange and pink colors were mixing together, covering everything with soft lighting.

after another long section of hange's experiments, eren felt like passing out. and after a few failed attempts to get on his horse that always ended with falling on his head, which made his horrible headache even worse, you suggested letting him take a nap. the walls weren't too far away from you and since titans aren't active during the night, you thought your idea would help eren earn his energy back. levi agreed, yelling at the others to return back to the walls, telling you to be careful.

the sunset was now a long time gone, leaving you and the brunette boy resting on your chest in darkness, only the stars above letting you see down the hill. you checked at your and eren's horse every five minutes, only to see them always pressed against each other ; as if they tried to mock you and eren.
