This is Alexes! 

He is a lesser demon, a fomoire, who was trapped and “domesticated” by a demon hunter named Alfred. The set time period is late Edwardian era in northern England. Alexes is often dressed up in more casual, childish clothing by Alfred, and has little control over his life, everything from his schedule to the food he eats to how many times he brushes his hair is carefully coordinated by Alfred in an effort to humanize him into a domestic, non-aggressive state. Due to the harsh, controlling nature of his captivity Alexes has gained a timid, baby-ish outer appearance for the sake of manipulating his captors and endearing himself to them. 

Alfred attempts to force him to change his appearance to be as human like as possible through harsh physical reprimanding, but so far all Alexes has been able to get his powers to change is the majority of his hair from green to brown, and his skin from its true pitch black to a pale complexion that matches the demon hunter’s skin. 

Alexes’ true nature is that of a fomoire. He is supposed to be a threat to humans, a threat to anything that crosses his path. But as such he is too ashamed to leave his captor, knowing he would be cast out and looked down upon by any other demon for being so “humanized” by a hunter. 

That is the story for him I have so far! He is very fun to sketch and draw when I am bored, or to write little whump-ish blips about when I feel creative! This is my first time posting him anywhere, I’m very excited for feedback.

i didn’t think i would have to say this to my own followers but… this is not a pro-“ship and let ship” blog, i do not believe in anything being “just fiction” or what have you… criticizing and demanding better from content creators, culture shapers, isn’t “abuse,” “harassment,” or “bullying,” it’s social responsibility.

this isn’t just an “unfollow me if you [whatever]” post, this is a post asking you as a member of society to please consider the impact you can have. i’m not looking to pick fights with people whose minds i won’t change, but this isn’t something i’m willing to budge or compromise on. if you follow me, you’ve involved yourself with me, and now i’m pleading with you, person to person:

consider the impact of your words, actions, and creations. about race, about age gaps and abuse, about gender, all that jazz. fiction is used to groom and oppress just as much as it’s used to empower and embolden. we all play a role in shaping society.
