Goodbye, 2022!
It was a year of full of travel, festivals, friends and eating. I’m leaving 2022 feeling grateful and lucky that nothing really unfortunate happened. However I am leaving with a little bit of guilt. I’ve officially entered my late twenties and I feel the pressure growing surrounding my responsibilities and goals. While I still want to live life to its fullest in 2023, I think I need to incorporate much more work/play balance.
Favorite core memories of 2022:
First family vacation since 2005. (17 years!)
Nurrina had her daughter πŸ₯Ή
Best Vegas girls trip to date
Dyed my hair a fun color for the first time ever
Went on a b3b weekend travel period (cali, Vegas, chicago)
Beyond wonderland πŸ„ in the rain
Jauz’s edc sunrise set
For 2023 I’m setting many small, accomplishable goals that build towards all of my bigger goals.
For January:
Intermittent fasting
Dry January - no alcohol
Workout at least 5x a week for a minimum of 30 mins
Save at least $2k
For some reason, I’m starting off this year feeling unsettled. But I’m choosing to ignore this gut feeling and want to remain as positive and optimistic as I can for the upcoming year. I’m hoping starting this blog can help relieve this feeling as well.
As for how often I will write on here.. I will do it whenever I feel like it. It’s to help me articulate how I am feeling for self reflection. I do want to at least set monthly goals and do follow ups at the end to keep myself motivated and feeling the reward of what I’m able to accomplish.
Let’s see what 2023 is all about!
