It's so unbelievably hard, having to leave a place you once thought you were going to call home. Every time I walk through a room, I have memories of living -- shared breakfasts and dinner in the dining room, laughing together in the living room, and watching some dumb show together in the bedrooms. Like walking through a skeleton made of memories of safer times.

It's even harder when, upon leaving, you're not even sure if you'll have a place to call home again afterwards. That there's a chance you stay stuck in some in between place, draining what funds you have left until you're out on the street. Even harder when you know that you might be taking people you care about with you, watching them struggle through the same things you'll be -- except they're sick and struggling with even more.

I want to ensure that when we move on today, that me and my family has a chance at a home in sight. But we need help. We're so close to our goals, even a round of people pitching in $20s as they pass this along could help push this along to our goal of finding a stable place to live for all of us.

The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.
