So this was unexpected.

Some of you might be familiar with Gobou, who is probably best known as the animator responsible for a number of fanvids based on Yume Nikki. I wasn't aware they were also a game dev, and just recently released a new game on Steam a few days ago.

Queen of Treasure Isle is a Metroidvania-style platform that's currently in early access. The game is complete, but Gobou plays on making tweaks and adding additional content. Seems like it's worth checking out if you enjoy Gobou's animations or "search action" platformers ala La Mulana.
