woman, eating.
dialogue prompts from woman, eating: a literary vampire novel by claire kohda.
people have appalling night vision.
i've marked crosses where you need to sign.
where did you say you live? anywhere near ____?
you hate me, don't you?
you won't make it without me.
it's hard to know what's real with you.
i did everything for you. everything was for you.
i don't like eating alone.
god wouldn't want to help a demon survive, and that's what we are.
this place is beyond new beginnings.
what do you see yourself as?
demon is a subjective term.
i'm not very good at goodbyes. or any form of greeting, actually.
how are you? i miss you. i want to hear about your life.
everything in everyone's life is temporary.
just imagine i'm dead.
people are like flowers: seasonal, wilting, and finite.
am i the only other person who can see you?
it sounded like you were dragging a body across the floor.
we cannot have any more catastrophe.
don't talk back to me.
my body isn't mine. it isn't a good fit for me.
you were very human. that was what i liked about you.
you never told me how ___ died.
i have to do everything for you, don't i?
give it time. you just haven't found yourself yet.
i don't really get contemporary art.
i'm trying to figure out what i want to do with my life.
how come you stopped ____?
what does the winner get?
it's kind of like being a kid again.
i don't want to be walking too late.
just be careful.
watch out for ___.
we're the same.
sorry if i said anything bad or embarrassing.
everything looks different, but it's hard to pinpoint how.
i like your look.
will you swap with me? can i be you for a bit?
i guess i feel small. undervalued.
it's hard to see what's beautiful anymore.
taking is not good for the soul.
what are you doing? lost?
did i make you feel bad?
i feel like i've been standing completely still.
i'm not sure what i feel when i look at you.
sorry. i'm not good at talking about it.
what are you going to do?
i'm really sorry about the ____.
when you left, you took something of me with you.
i'm sorry. i don't know what's wrong with me.
life is a line, not a circle.
i think i like you.
i don't want to feel at home in the dark.
take me with you. please.
i can't take you with me.
memories make life.
move away. i'm dangerous.
i don't know who i am anymore.
are you high or something?
i don't think i ever hated you.
can i do anything to help?
i wish i could be honest.
i don't want to bring you down with me.
i can't tell what it is i want.
the other night was a mistake.
you don't like me?
i am completely alone.
will you let me in?
i think i've known for a while.
you can't just listen to one side and block out the other.
neither side of me can be separated from the other.
i don't have sides at all. i am two things that have become one thing.
are you okay? do you need help getting home?
i'm not sure what i am anymore.
for the first time, i feel like i'm exactly where i'm meant to be.
this feels like the first time i've really seen you.

You're the Boss Sentences
(Sentences for muses talking to their boss or another figure of authority. Adjust phrasing where needed)
"I put you in charge out there - now do the damn job!"
"You’re not happy unless things are just right, which means two things: you’re a good boss, and you’ll never be happy."
"Do you think I'd let you work with something second rate?"
"It's probably better if you don't ask what I'm doing."
"Why don't you want to work for me?"
"Tell me what you're not telling me."
"A job well done should not be casually rewarded."
"Kindly do not interrupt me."
"Don't raise your voice at me!"
"Just because everyone else is letting their standards slip, doesn't mean I have to."
"You'll try? A child tries. A man accomplishes."
"If you worked for me, things would be easier."
"You once asked me to work for you, now I'm asking you to work for me."
"With all due respect, I think you overestimate your position in the chain of command."
"You are not in charge!"
"I do not expect you to fail."
"I sincerely wish I wasn't hearing this."
"Do I make myself clear?"
"Whether you want to be in charge or not, you are and you always will be."
"From now on, it's my rules. If I tell you to shut your mouth, you shut your mouth."
"If you come and work for me, I'm almost positive I can triple your yearly income."
"The benefit of being boss is that I don't have to argue."
"You've made some interesting career choices."
"Why am I just seeing this now?"
"You're giving me orders now?"
"No. No, you don't talk, okay? You just do as you're told."
"As far as you're concerned, I'm in charge."
"If once is a mistake and twice is unfortunate, what does that make this?"
"I'm getting a little weary of this attitude."
"Since when are you my boss?"
"You seem to have forgotten who's in charge here."
"Your protest has been duly noted."
"You like being in charge, don't you?"
"Fail, and you will be held accountable. Am I making myself clear?"
"Have you ever considered a different line of work?"
"You do this properly or not at all."
"You seem to have forgotten who's in charge here."
"Before we go anywhere, can we get something straight? I'm in charge of this investigation."

Miss Bloom -- Alana, would normally take offence at the assertion, the trouble is, Lacey is right. Alana conceded the point softly, as much as it disgusts and disturbs her so viscerally now.
"Yes, I was, and we were happy for a brief time. Until I learned his true nature and with good sense -- that I assuredly have, left him. It is a wound I have til this day," still, Bloom tries to shrug it off with nonchalance. "I wouldn't call it love -- I loved Mr. G.raham, I have interest of the respectful manner for now -- not opposed to more, on her terms, with Miss Verger, I didn't love Mr. L.ecter."
"I wasn't in love with him!" (Alana Bloom about L*cter To Lacey - monstresvictimsxvengeance)
SALTBURN sentence starters
Lacey grimaces with the outburst, her fault on all counts. "Poor phrasing," she admits, tapping her pen against her notebook. "I just meant you were...intimate with certain members of the Ripper case, were you not? It's not exactly a secret, what with Freddie Lounds' breaking the news."
She shifts in her seat, a few inches closer to Alana. "I just want to get the story right. The female perspective is the one so often left out, and that is the right perspective, I would say."
Or perhaps she's just a sick woman who enjoys any ounce of information she can garner, like one of those true-crime junkies. Worse, honestly, as her interests lead her down roads like this one.

we can talk about abigail’s implicit suicidality in mizumono and we can talk about abigail seeing hannibal as a second father figure whose love will implicate her even further in crimes and violence, but no scene truly captures the dark comedy of the show better than abigail and hannibal calmly and gracefully orchestrating the scene of abigail’s fake death and framing will for it. amidst the manipulation and fear and subterfuge there has always been love there (it will not save you in the end but it makes the pain worthwhile)

the best part about hannigram dogmotif is the fact that they’re both manipulative assholes who hold each other in high regard and so they would constantly put the other in the line of danger, believing in the other’s ability to decimate their victim and turn them into something beautiful. they are simultaneously the handler with the electric shock remote and the attack dog on a tight leash
