Bonjour. I suppose you can call me Montparnasse. My first name is of no importance, nor is it any your business. It might be an idea of stay out of my way, but then again, where's the fun in that? [Independent Les Miserables RP account, but you knew that. This character is more prominent in the brick than in the musical, for those who are wondering. Tracked tag: monsieurmontparnasse]

The amount of excuses I've made about being totally missing in action for the past three weeks is awful, but I've been busy because fuck you that's why.  and I just lost all motivation entirely. Sorry to the folk I neglected for a while there. If you want to start another roleplay or plot a bit, just let me know. Like this post or something, I don't know.
In other news, I just googled how many calories are in a deep fried pizza and now I want to cry.

Right folks, I'm going to apologise for my lack of activity this week. I've had exams and stuff and for one reason or another, I've had literally no motivation to reply. I'll sort out replies and stuff tomorrow, I promise.

Montparnasse glanced at Courfeyrac, feeling rather unsure about why he was watching him. As far as he was concerned, it wasn't really anything worth seeing. "Who do you think you're looking at?" Montparnasse joked after finishing the last of his dinner.
Courfeyrac finished his spoonful and sat back, looking at Montparnasse. He dabbed at his lips with a napkin and smiled slightly at the man in front of him, admiring his lover’s politeness.

"Well, isn't that lucky? Being disliked isn't much of a problem to me, but it's nice to know that I'm tolerable. Especially to someone as opinionated as yourself." Montparnasse responded with a grin, nodding his head once as if to show a certain degree of respect.
“If I thought y’ were awful, I would’ve walked away ages ago. Instead, I’m waitin’ for you t’ go. I wouldn’t say awful, just irritatin’ as hell,” she grinned, then mimicked his false-hurt expression.

Montparnasse rolled his eyes jokingly, before beginning to eat. While he wasn't particularly polite through his words, he found that being polite while eating was rather essential for him. It was a good habit that had developed throughout his life, almost without him realising.
Courfeyrac grinned and continued to eat, politely ripping off a piece of bread and chewing on it almost thoughtfully. He glanced up at Montparnasse a few times then back down to his meal.

"I'm glad." Montparnasse winked, before returning his attention to his meal.
“It’s a..It’s a trait that excites me.” He explained after sipping his meal.

"It's not something I can avoid, so it's rather lucky that you like it." He smiled, nodding his head once in agreement.
He snickered a moment. “I love when you are possessive of me.” Courfeyrac nodded at the woman who brought their bowls of soup. He began to eat slowly.

"Why? What difference does my possessiveness make to you?" Montparnasse asked, raising his eyebrows expectantly. Only a moment after speaking, he realised that his question was probably rather stupid, seeing as his lover would obviously be affected by it.
“No reason, no reason.” He chuckled. “Mmm, you should not have told me how possessive you are..”

"You may not have blatantly stated that I'm awful, but you certainly make it seem that way." Montparnasse remarked, a false-hurt expression crossing his face before he returned back to his usual demeanor merely a second later.
“Well, y’ do surprise me,” she replied, with a shrug. Raising an eyebrow, she let a laugh escape from her lips. “Oh, ‘Parnasse. When did I ever say y’ were awful?” she pointed out.

"Yes, really. Why?" Montparnasse asked in response, mimicking his lover's expression.
Courfeyrac swallowed his wine and raised a brow. “Oh, really?” He set the glass down.

"That's rather lucky. I'm more possessive than I'd like to be." Montparnasse admitted in a shrug, giving a small smile.
As the girl left, Courfeyrac stole a kiss from Montparnasse’s hand. “Have I told you that I love when you are possessive?”

"I'll just have the same." Montparnasse stated with a nod at the girl. His jealousy had always been a prominent aspect of his personality, but it had only been made worse by his relationship with Courfeyrac.
“Indeed.” Courfeyrac nodded as well and looked as a pretty girl came over to ask what they wanted to eat. He asked for soup with a slice of cheese and, if it was available, bread. He began to take out the money to pay. “Gaspard, what do you want?”

"I suppose it might be a compliment." He answered with a smirk, no longer bothering to defend himself seeing as he probably had no chance of winning anyway. "See, I'm not as awful as you like to pretend I am." Montparnasse continued smugly, nodding once.
Slightly taken aback by his answer, Eponine let a smile fall onto her lips. “Was that a compliment, Monsieur?” she teased, putting her hands on her hips. “Well, thanks. I s’pose y’ ain’t so bad either. Pain in the backside most o’ the time, but I can take y’ company if I need t’.”

"Fair enough. We are very different people, and that's fine." Montparnasse nodded in response, still utterly baffled by the thought of people being particularly nice to others. He had never been taught to be nice. As far as he was concerned, kindness was wasted on those who didn't deserve it, which explained how he acted in most situations.
He raised a brow in slight confusion. “Here is how I see it. You do not know if someone is having the worst day of their existence and feels completely lost. A simple smile or word can turn that day into a good one. I like to make people feel good about themselves. Everyone is precious and no one should have a miserable day.”

Replies will probably be all over the place tonight because Eurovision is on. I think that's a good enough explanation.

"You're too nice for your own good. I don't understand how making other people feel good about themselves makes a difference to you. Personally, I like to know that there are people who feel awful. Then I seem a lot better off. Highly logical, wouldn't you agree?" He asked, raising his eyebrows expectantly.
“Darling, the thing you should know about me is that I do love to make people feel good about themselves. I can smile and wink to pretty girls and boys, but that is all they shall get.”
