Cleared the studio storage here, moved to Imli house, and now it’s a path of rediscovery. Amongst the paper rolls, this old ghost emerged to which new stories are being added.

Last Saturday was International Women's Day .I ended up at an event by chance. It was an event that was about connections. The conference was kicked off by many different dance girls dance groups. The energy with which they immersed the conference was real.

Got a new sketchbook as a gift with this newspaper cutting pasted on the back cover. Where to begin?  How to find a way through the ongoing turmoil, and the turmoil to come……

A shimmering glimpse as we headed to the airport.  It somehow echoes the many experiences of last 3-4 weeks - so many reflections and much to reflect on.

On Saturday the band had their next album release. They invited female friends to reinterpret lyrics, to play with them. Andrea worked with the song “Zuversicht” (“Optimism”).  Many others did choose the same song. And it expresses how dark the current situation is. Andrea's work was also a reaction to a newspaper article in which the Basel Minister of Culture was defamed, from right-wing politics at the lowest level. I feel something like a time of mourning. With the need to go to places where there is friendship and kindness.
