Before arriving to France, my school struggled to find a family that would host me, so I turned to God and prayed a lot. I prayed for him to find a family that would not only have me, but actually enjoy having me. A few months later, I was told I was going to be hosted by 3 different families, but the third one was still to be confirmed. At first I was really disappointed, the thought "He couldn't find me a family for a whole year" crossed my mind a lot. As I arrived here, the second family agreed to host me longer so there wouldn't be a need for a third family. However, I was recently told that I actually am moving with a third family. BUT I learned that it is not because neither of the two families don't want to host me longer, nor because they can't, but because they all WANT to host me. They all want to have me at their homes. I feel really blessed. This means that I'm going to get to know more people, more places and more habits. I have been really lucky throughout this year and I have understood that God does what he knows is best, even if we don't think so at the moment, and afterwards He proves us how He was right all along.

Exchange is Life.

This is the time of year a lot of Exchange get homesick. Things start getting a bit more difficult. But why?

Exchange is life. You get lonely sometimes. You miss people, you miss things, sometimes you miss parts of your past. You miss your dog or your bed, you miss your school....
