This really did happen today.

You are gonna wanna read till the end. There will be pictures...

A pregnant woman, I'd say 7 or 8 months, comes into my store with her 3 daughters, the oldest being 4 or 5. She hands me a hose from a pull down faucet. She tells me that it's a Kohler faucet. I ask her if she's sure, she tells me she's 100% sure, that it says Kohler on the faucet. So I begin my quest to help this lovely woman. Meanwhile her kids are FUCKING WILD! Loud, running around, touching everything. But whatever, I'll get her out quick.

So pull up every pull down faucet parts list Kohler has. Nothing, no match. I ask her again if she's sure it's Kohler. She assured me it was. I tell her she should call Kohler. She was not having any of it. So now, fifteen minutes in and getting nowhere, I decided to grab a similar faucet. I was gone for about 5 minutes.

I come back empty handed, nothing matches. I went through 7 or 8 different faucets. I ask again if she's sure, she's getting a little annoyed, I tell her she needs to call Kohler 5 or 6 or 20 more times. Another 20 minutes go by. In that time I show her a couple Kohler hoses that absolutely won't work. Then she asks, or tells me that there is another manufacturer that makes this hose. I tried to explain that only Kohler makes Kohler parts. I don't think she believed me cause we needed to discuss this for another 10 minutes.

Now at the 40 minute mark. I finally convinced her to call Kohler. This is when things get weird. As she's getting ready to leave. She gathers her kids, which wasn't easy, and stops, she reaches into her purse and pulls out a stack of what appears to be business cards. She puts them on the counter and says, and I quote...

"Me and my daughters like to leave these cards. I don't think the rapture is coming (pause pause pause) yet, but if you pray you'll be saved."

I, needless to say was speechless.

Side note, in the five minutes I was gone... Apparently Nickelback came on the radio. She said to the guy I work with, and this exactly how it was told to me, "Uhg, I hate this music. It reminds me of Pennsylvania." The guy I work with asked where in Pennsylvania and she said, "All of it, the whole state". He turned off the radio, customer service at it's finest.

Ok, I tossed the cards in the garbage except for one. That one I taped to my monitor.

It will be there forever to remind me to never ever EVER say " can I help you" ever again.

Oh, and by the way it was a Moen faucet. A FUCKING MOEN!!!
