For what it’s worth, I consider myself SO fortunate to have access to the stories that are written about my very favorite people in the fictional world...David and Patrick! Omg! How fabulous it is that there are brilliantly talented writers who take us above and beyond the episodes. When the last episode of the final season airs, Schitt’s Creek lives on...thanks to people like you! Thanks to people who write from the heart. Stories that make us laugh and cry at the same time! Stories so soft that your heart literally hurts. And, maybe the very best is that you take us home. After the bars close, after Open Mic Nights, etc! Because of you, we get to see David and Patrick’s relationship develop in ways POPTV could NEVER approve! 😂 Forever grateful for the talent you share🥰

This is a little coda to “The Presidential Suite”. Conversations need to be had. And there’s one thing Patrick needs.

It’s been a few hours since he left to see Alexis, her text of crying emojis and turtles somehow making sense to David and sending him out the door with a quick kiss and a promise to explain everything when he returns.

Relief had washed over him as soon as the door had shut, quickly followed by guilt, guilt at being relieved that the conversation he knows they need to have found another excuse to be pushed farther down the road. It’s already been pushed too far. He’s been pushed too far. And he knows he shoulders a lot of the blame for being too passive aggressive, for not communicating sooner about the little things that have been bothering him with how their wedding is being planned. He’s let his voice get lost and now it’s coming out in sharp words and frustrated tones.

He hates being mad at David. It’s the absolute worst feeling in the world. And as he’s sat here, waiting for him to return, he’s finally worked up the courage to do whatever it takes to fix things. He just needs to find the right words so he doesn’t trample all over David’s dreams.

His jaw clenches at the sound of David’s key in the lock and he pushes himself up from the couch, wanting to meet him with a hug. It’s more that a want, really, it’s a need. He needs their shared touch to ground him, center things back to what’s important so he doesn’t somehow manage to fuck things up further.

Patrick halts a few steps away when he sees David’s face. He’s absolutely crestfallen and his eyes are red-rimmed from crying, causing Patrick’s heart to clench painfully in his chest. Before he can find his voice to ask what’s wrong, David stumbles forward and practically folds himself around Patrick’s body. An unsteady breath escapes Patrick’s nose as his arms find a way to pull David in even closer, wanting desperately to absorb some of the pain from David’s body.

😂😂😂This could not be any more hilarious. Truth always trumps fiction!! Though my experience wasn’t as extensive as yours, it still makes me laugh. We were placing a relatively small order at the Taco Bell drive through. The woman recapped and there was something wrong, so I corrected her. “Ok, so we’re lookin’ at (fill in the blank, but this was her go to preface every one of the 6 times she repeated our incorrect order). It got so ridiculous that I thought it was entirely possible this could be a Candid Camera-like thing! Finally drove out and went inside😂😂. So glad we can still do things in person. Thanks for sharing your story. It’s bound to give everyone a good laugh!

I’ve not yet been able to start season 6, but feel somewhat in the loop cuz of the great gifs, etc! I’m guessing that the possibility of a “throuple” includes the ever open and amorous Jake🥳. Are people flippin out because this could potentially create problems for David and Patrick? The way I see it, Schitt’s Creek created a banner of acceptance and ran it up the flag pole right from the giddy-up, so to speak! It’s all about what’s inside the bottle, right? As long as a relationship involves consenting adults, why would I care? It may not be for me, but neither are brussel sprouts, wheat grass, and prune juice. If they threw an animal or a minor or any vulnerable individual into the mix, I’d be done.Patrick and David have completely different sexual histories, with David’s being VERY adventurous. Patrick hasn’t experienced any other guys (poor Ken🙃) and it seems like David isn’t going to accept that Patrick truly loves him until he’s got someone with whom he can compare David. It seems that a wedding is inevitable, so why the uproar anyway? Is it really about D & P, or is more about personal opinions? Idk. Thanks for posting about this, Bellafarella! Very interesting🥰

Damn, have people freaked out this much about any other episode of Schitts creek?

not that i know of!! but its fucking insane, like i get it, it's not for everyone to think about threesomes etc, i know i wouldnt ever be in one but that doesnt stop me from enjoying the episode. my opinion also changed after watching it, i thought about what it was actually all about and it made me happy to know that they are open and can communicate about things they want sexually in their relationship, and it doesnt take away from their relationship and how much they love each other, nor does it equal them wanting an open relationship. you don't have to agree with it but dont let your overprotectiveness of these characters and the show cloud you from enjoying an episode. the show is almost over and yet people are wrecking havoc over one 22 min episode. it's insane to me how this has blown up so much. the amount of times writers have fucked shit up in my other fandom (shameless) but nobody bat an eye and yet the writers for schitts creek write ONE episode you dont care for and yall are flipping your shit. it absolutely baffles me how this all turned out.

Rather than miss out on the oodles of love for all things Schitt’s Creek that explode on Tumblr everyday, I’m enjoying Season 6 through you all! Spoilers aren’t spoiling anything🥳 So much was posted about “The Incident”, but it took a while to reach one that specifically identified the SOURCE😂. I couldn’t imagine what had happened! I also thought Patrick was,for reasons I couldn’t begin to imagine, fashioning a small mustache for himself out of blue play dough....or maybe he was considering sleeping with nose plugs! Schitt’s Creek is probably my all time favorite show and I truly love and care deeply for the characters. It’s a joy to follow those of you who honor them so beautifully. Thanks for sharing💫

HELP😩I just got a lovely Christmas 🎄 card from a total stranger. Because she signed it “Warmest Regards”. I’m assuming she got my name from a list that began on Tumbler. One of the amazing Schitt’s Creek fans asked for people to sign up if they wanted to participate in a Christmas card exchange. I did, but never got the list of other names. Just assumed there was a glitch somewhere. However, because I did receive one, there’s going to be a person who DOESNT. I feel really bad, but I can’t remember who started it. Hoping this will get back to him and we can fix the situation. My best guess is it may have been holmesapothecary🤔
