“ ❛ are you bleeding ? ❜ { from nimue if that's alright. figured she could like, maybe be passing and have noticed if that helps -- } ”
from ;; 🐝 * ― 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐒𝐓𝐘 𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐒.
His gaze was quick to land on the individual who'd spoke towards him, hands coming to grip the handle of his shovel tightly in a prepared defense, but rather than immediately answer the question tossed his way he let a silence fall as he stared. The question had been unexpected to him; He honestly hadn't anyone to be here, let alone be here at this time. And how exactly was one meant to explain bloodied clothes when said blood wasn't their own? Well, more like when a majority wasn't their own.
He supposed he could only be glad that she'd shown after he'd already completed the majority of his work but that wouldn't stop him from mentally scolding himself for being 'caught' whilst doing his work. It was still always a hassle to just deal with someone witnessing the aftermath when they weren't meant to after all.
“ . . . Yez. ” He finally answered, a pause came between his words. It was the truth, technically, as he was in fact bleeding a bit himself from the hassle the recent target had been. Plus, it wasn't like he could deny his bleeding without causing the blood to raise more questions.
“ But eet iz fine. I am fine. ” He was quick to add after his pause, an attempt to cover for the blood that wasn't his own likely making 'his' bleeding look as if it was worse than it truly was. He wanted to look to explain this off since he would prefer not to dispose of two people in one night, especially when one was someone he'd known.

Yeah, arson was bad but in all honesty Christophe didn't actually care all that much if the anti-christ did choose to burn the town down. It wasn't like he was fond of the place himself, it held more bad memories than good at this point after all. But perhaps that was just his own focusing on the negatives.
As he listened to the other talk he would make a comment when the firework was mentioned.
“ Defineetely zoundz like ee'd be ztupeed. ” He wasn't exactly sure what the referenced event was just from it's mention but the mention of 'giant' and 'firework' in regards to this town? He could only assume it had been an awfully stupid thing to witness.
“ Probably because people who didn't originally grow up with z'eir sheet can realize eet's ztupeed to get involved. ” He would give his thoughts on the matter, brushing past the particular name drop. “ And if z'ey do not realize it's ztupeed? Z'ey get to learn ze hard way. ”
Honestly, he would personally say he got to fall in the latter part of those who didn't originally grow up in South Park, those that 'learned the hard way' because he certainly believes he did. Of course, that 'hard way' of learning not to involve himself with the majority of the town's insanity had been his dying.

“Please, don’t. Please, don’t leave.”
“I won’t do it. I won’t become them.”
“You never even tried to save them.”
“I don’t want you here, not anymore.”
“I can’t believe you kept this from me.”
“You need to stop clinging to the past.”
“Nothing is ever good enough for you.”
“I thought I could trust you. I thought…”
“I don’t need anyone else. Not even you.”
“You can’t keep pushing yourself like this.”
“There’s no one up there watching over us.”
“Don’t do it unless you understand the price.”
“You got hurt… because of me. I’m so sorry.”
“Your eyes are so cold when you look at me.”
“They’re gone… and you need to accept that.”
“You keep hurting me. I just want to know why.”
“You can go, but you know they won’t love you.”
“You’re scared of them. I can see it in your eyes.”
“I don’t know how to let myself be loved like this.”
”You’ve done nothing but lie to me from the start.”
“What would you be willing to give to change it all?”
“You don’t even realize what you’ve done, do you?”
“I don’t know how to tell you what’s wrong with me.”
“You can fool everyone else, but you can’t fool me.”
“I don’t recognize the person in the mirror anymore.”
“If you keep doing this, you’re going to end up dead.”
“You break my heart. And I don’t know why I let you.”
“You need to lie back down, you’re barely conscious.”
“Something is keeping you awake. Is it fear or regret?”
“I’m here, because I don’t have anyone else to turn to.”
“Look me in the eye and tell me, again, you don’t care.”
“There’s not a single thing that real about you, is there?”
“They’ll keep kicking you down until you kick them back.”
“I just want to help you, but you clearly don’t want me to.”
“You don’t have to do everything on your own, you know.”
“We’re not good people. We’ve never been good people.”
“You won’t survive if you stay here… you know that, right?”
“I can’t even trust myself. How am I supposed to trust you?”
“You’re not a good person. You pretend to be, but you’re not.”
“You might not be a villain, but you sure as hell aren’t a hero.”
“You can’t move on if you let the past keep holding you back.”
“How can you look me in the eye and say something like that?”
“They’re gone. They’re gone, and there was nothing I could do.”
“Can you just tell me the truth?? For once, just tell me the truth!”
“Why won’t you let me in? Why do you keep pushing me away?”
“There’s something wrong here. And I don’t think it can be fixed.”
“I only wanted to make you proud. Now I see that was pointless.”
“I love you, but I can’t stay here and watch you do this to yourself.”
“You say you love me in one breath, then hurt me in the next. Why?”
“Oh my god, you’re burning up. Why didn’t you tell me you were sick?”
“There’s nothing there! It’s just a hallucination, you’re okay, you’re safe!”
“Leave if you want. But, if you do, don’t come back. Don’t ever come back.”
“Because I still think you could be a good person, I just think you choose not to.”
“You don’t have to love me, you don’t even have to like me, but I need you here.”
“You’ve never been honest with me… I don’t know why I expected you to start now.”
“Why do you keep risking yourself like this? Do you not care whether you live or die?”
“You keep breaking yourself down for them, but you know they wouldn’t do the same.”
“I would do anything for you. But, I’m starting to realize you wouldn’t do the same for me.”

Christophe would idly smoke as he listened to Damien speak, finding himself not particularly phased by the mention of ‘setting fire to the town’. Even if he wasn’t exactly sure if it was a joke or if the guy was serious but he didn’t really care to think about it. He wasn't really concerned about it though.
Once Damien had come to conclude his words he came to offer up the words “Chriz’maz znow? ” as a suggestion towards the liking of snow despite the fact the town gets it year round. He could recall that people did always seem enamored with the idea of ‘Christmas snow’ for a reason he personally never could comprehend. It was the same snow as it would be on any other day.
He briefly paused to take his cigarette from his mouth, now instead holding it between his fingers as he continued to speak. “ Ze arzon likely wouldn't be welcomed but zeeing zome ground for once would probably be. I don’t z’ink I’ve ever even zeen ze ground here not covered in znow. ” As if the total amount of time he’d been in the town would even be long enough to not see snow everywhere.
He raised a brow for a moment at the mention of how often the town seemed at odds with one another.
“ It’z an awful lot to expect z’is town not to fight about zomething. ” He would tap the ash off the tip of his cigarette, “ Even when you’re expected to be getting along with each othzer. It'z not like z'ey probably even care about ze 'getting along' part of ze holidayz anywayz. ”
