Day 724

A short work week and I’m still sleepy. Got off work and made Brussel sprouts and sausage. Pretty tasty. But now the whole apartment smells like cooked sausage.

Day 723

Back to blogging. It’s been a whirlwind of work work work where my brain doesn’t feel like it can stop. But I do need to take time for myself to think about what’s happening and assess. We fixed squishy’s teeth. It was 2 hours long but we did it. Celebrated bee and BL today at Millbrae pancake house. Rounded the evening out with family seeing my mama. Sometimes it’s good to just have a day surrounded by the people you’re closest too.

Day 709

Father’s Day. The day without dad now. I was searching for a photo of him on my phone. A good photo. Of photo of who he is. This was it. This is/was my dad. The person who loves to eat and where I get my live to eat from. I miss him so much. When squish told me he wanted to meet my dad, I almost cried. He’s one of the most important people in my life and they’ll never meet. Miss you loads dad but I hope you’re having a great father’s day wherever you are. Mom and I are learning to grow and be independent so don’t worry.

Day 708

Had work picnic day and bee stopped by. We even snuck away for a home goods trip. Bee is kitty sitting so we were hanging with Pearson for a while. Met up with ST to finalize more paperwork. We saw M do her dance performance. Now finally in bed because the weekend is just as busy.

Day 707

What can I say. I haven’t been religiously blogging because my days are so overwhelming. Thinking about the future. Being so anxious. What if I don’t make the right decision? Watched the most stressful basketball game ever with bee and had Chinese food and wine. I’m ready to pass out. I think I just need a break.

Day 701

Had a team build and went sailing today. ST and I signed papers!!! Our project is another step closer!!! This is insane.

Day 700

New lashes! Did a wfh day. JP came over and we did lashes and I picked her brain on the business. I’m so exhausted but excited.

Day 699

Had a much needed catch up sesh with MH. She brought me crystals to help with my energy and also a pizza stone. Her and AL are so kind. Nights like this make my heart full and grateful.

Day 698

There’s been a whole lot of days of research. Of paperwork. Of brainstorming. We’re officially inside the gauntlet. Mama knows nothing about any of this. Saw her after work today. Then hung out with bee and got a catch up session with her. Finally ended the night packing my lunch and getting ready for the next work day.

Day 693

Coming back to work was terrible. When your upper management is annoying and micromanaging, you start to wonder if you want to be there anymore. Saw mama, auntie and grandparents after work for dinner. Then came home and relaxed. Highlight of my day was my huge professional size Cocofloss

Day 690

Woke up after restless sleep to go snorkeling. It was really fun but I’ve learned I am not a mouth breather. We were able to grabbed shaved ice after snorkeling and then headed to Lahaina to walk around, eat a pineapple and then head to the luau. The luau was gorgeous and the dancers were great. I’m exhausted and we’re waking up early tomorrow to do Road to Hana.

Day 689

Woke up and we were headed to Maui. Somehow we were on the inaugural flight from SJ to Maui. For some reason, that 5.5 hours flight felt so long. I was so antsy to get there. We were able to squeeze in lunch, dinner, Costco and beach time. It’s 10 pm in Hawaii but 1 am back at home. I’m dead.

Day 688

Did laundry today at ST’s House. Saw mama for a bit and we got Mexican food. Ended the night stealing bee’s clothes for Hawaii. Now I’m finally packed and in less than 12 hrs, I’ll be on a plane to Hawaii. I’m finally going there.

Day 686

I have so many questions racking my brain. So many. I was sleeping on and off. But I had a talk with ST and I think our partnership will be okay. I had a me time evening. Ate leftovers in the fridge. Then made squishy’s mango pudding elephant. He doesn’t know what he’s getting and I really hope the mold slides out tomorrow am.

Day 684

When you’re crazy busy doing your project and the numbers coming at you give you a headache. You’re ready to go to Hawaii for vacation. But you’re also anxious about making this big life decision. Also moving out makes you really busy and you’ve achieved your exercise ring almost everyday.

We are working deep in the trenches for this project and I’m pretty sure my brain is about to explode. We’re probably going to take the biggest challenge in our life.

Day 682

Did lagree with JK squared. We were supposed to go to morningwood for brunch but there was no room. We went to Millbrae Pancake House instead and was able to get a seat in 30 min. Came home and packed some chicken soup for mom and napped on the couch. Met mommy for dinner and we were able to talk and sorta patch things up. I’m glad we’re able to repair and talk better. We grabbed seven course beef and chatted. Now back at home after bringing more stuff back to the apartment from home.
