Is that a car or (Part 5)… a submarine? Lotus Esprit ‘Submarine Car’, 1977. Actually it is a submarine, shaped like the Giorgetto Giugiaro designed Lotus Esprit and made as a prop for the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me. On set it earned the nick-name “Wet Nellie”

Powered by a 5.3 litre V8 with 4-speed manual transmission, the interior features a sink made from a vintage Coca Cola cooler, custom-fabricated ice chest, toilet, sleeping area, wooden floors and whiskey barrels housing massive subwoofers. The air-ride suspension allows the camper to be raised and lowered
