The fact Saitama sees Fubuki as an acquaintance but Manako as a friend (or at least enough to want to eat udon with her) is hilarious to me

Saitama, pls. The almost passive aggressive way he tries to dismiss someone or nope out of any situation that even mildly sets off his annoyance/inconvenience/disrespect meter is just...ghkjah.

But the fact Manako isn't overbearing, arrogant, or rudely tries to use/force him to do something he doesn't want to do (unlike say, Flash and Fubuki's ulterior motives and ways of speaking over him, assuming their 'ownership' over him -as if he's already agreed to their whims- being something he really doesn't vibe with) makes a pretty significant difference in his book + comfort levels. You could say he's pretty sensitive to those who show him basic courtesy, hospitality, and respect (like Kuseno), so even despite Manako being a monster - or rather, how that aspect doesn't even matter to him (aww~) that's really all it takes for Saitama to be chill and accepting of someone! Which is something so simple enough, that hilariously, probably also as a running gag, Fubuki hasn't figured it out yet how to properly 'friend' him. :'D

Some headcanons about the Nagisa x Nakamura ship and Nagisa x Kataoka ship please

Nagisa x Nakamura headcanons:

< I like to think they hang out with each other a lot during their high school years

< Maybe not quite as often as they hang out with some of the others, but often enough

< The shift from "hanging out" to "actually dating" was gradual

< Neither of them really confessed first, but they did have a talk when they realised they weren't just hanging out as friends anymore

< Nakamura still teases him, but she toned it down after junior high

< Nagisa eventually starts teasing her back once he gains more self-confidence

< The first time he did it was unintentional but Nakamura found it amusing

< Nakamura felt guilty at first when they told their friends because she knew Akari (Kaede) had feelings for him as well

< She was relieved when Akari made it clear she was happy for them

< They're a good support system for each other

< Nagisa sometimes struggles to choose between doing the things he actually wants to do and the things his mom would've liked him to do (habits aren't so easily broken even after an issue's been 'resolved')

< Nakamura's good at reminding him that he doesn't have to please her anymore

< Similarly, Nakamura sometimes forgets she doesn't have to play dumb

< Nagisa makes sure that she knows she's smart

< Nakamura goes abroad to study after graduating high school

< The long distance was a difficult adjustment for both of them, but they made it work

< They don't really start hanging out as a duo until part-way through high school

< They were closer to other people in their class so it was a while before they started specifically seeking each other out

< Kataoka was one of the class reps and Nagisa was said to be the "head of the class" towards the end of their mission, so they've always respected each other for that

< They tend to hang out at cafes, either to study or simply because they enjoy the quiet

< They love their friends, but the chaos can get a bit much sometimes

< They're both pretty level-headed and good listeners so they're good at helping each other with their issues

< They don't actually start dating until after high school

< They started having feelings for each other at around the same time

< Kataoka confessed first

< Their first few dates were a little awkward

< Then they realised it wasn't much different to what they'd already been doing, so they got over the awkwardness pretty quickly

< Their friends sometimes joke about them being an old married couple
