my friends kid got kidnapped and she is trying to crowd fund a ton of money in legal to get him back but I feel like she got quoted an ungodly amount of money (50k) and she's barely making it work just supporting herself. her ex's family is protecting him legally and he has rich parents. does anyone know someone in family law in Texas? Are there any resources or organizations that take on cases like this for free? The whole situation is pretty creepy tbh she thinks CPS was involved in trafficking.... It would be a very difficult case to take on but I feel like it's almost a case for the attorney general. Any ideas?

you ever have it that the food in your fridge just doesn’t register as food? I have a problem where I’ll eat peanut butter sandwiches repeatedly while having a stuffed fridge bc I look in there and am like “hmmm….but that’s not actual food. cant eat that.”
