" Where on mobius did you hear that phrase? ho boy--- not exactly buff though being buff can be part of it. Just means yer a gal usually a lesbian who presents more masculine... i guess i qualify..."

She wasn't the best person to ask that question to as she didn't frequent lesbian circles or chat rooms on the regular. She just had a lot of gay friends!

Primal fear gripped the albino's heart like an iron hand, her shoulders tensing up defensively, but one instinctive flinch was the only movement back she made. The mouse blushed softly, covering her cheek with the tips of her fingers. The tease was adorable and it made her imagination run absolutely wild. The rough but gentle hands laid onto her cheeks and the small scientist couldn't help but relax, smiling at the kiss. "Hehe! Whaaaaat, now that would be something to write in the newspapers about!" Flask giggled.

"I love you too..." Will she ever get used to getting these sweet sincere compliments. Hopefully not. It just makes her heart flutter so strongly every time...

Tangle had a very soft nose and her smile was contagious! But her profession was still very worrying. The albino reached up to softly ruffle her girlfriend's hair. "Honestly, those people. Giving these skates that go at a speed of a car to a novice. If you fall off of these, you won't just get a bruise." She pursed her lips.

The small scientist bursted into laughter at Tangle's Shadow impression. "Pfff! Oh beakers! Honestly, I wish I could meet Shadow just to give him some muffins and tell him what's what. He should be much more responsible with his juniors. Also for some reason I imagine he is into raspberries. Could you confirm it for me?" The chemist gave Tangle a playful wink before taking the book off of the lemur's hands. And immediately nearly dropping it. Tangle made it look much lighter than it actually was.

"Whoa! Someone really did put... A lot of thoughts into this one. You read the whole thing?! That's impressive! ...Would you mind me taking it in for a couple of days? I can read and summarize it into a smaller manual. And then we can practice! You should be able to learn using those skates fairly fast, your tail is perfect for helping you keep balance."

She couldn't deny the idea of a normal Job was pretty great feeling for once. It was fine when she was on her own, and had no one to come home to. but since she'd gotten with Flask it sure was getting hard to not feel a bit lonely sometimes. But feeling her beautiful girl in her arms, the warmth of her embrace it was such a stress reliever! At least the grand prix wouldn't be full of danger, just watching some racers and making sure no one got to rough? It seemed a pretty lazy job honestly!

" Hehe oh no a normal life for us? a 9 to 5! so scandalous! next thing you'll know i'll give you a ring and ask ya to marrrry me "

She teased playfully before cupping the mouse's cheeks and smooching her warmly on her lips. Not that she wouldn't and she'd thought about it a few times.

She rubbed her nose against Flasks and just smiled ear to ear! something about that Mouse just made her all warm inside! It was a great feeling! and one she didn't want to lose anytime soon! But she was happy to talk about the air skates with flask as she thought it would be something the mouse would love or at least have a passing interest in! seeing as she loved skates and all---hey maybe they should go to a skating rink or something!

" Uhh well they are meant to let me keep up with Extreme gear riders so i imagine pretty high. I remember Shadow using his... and they seemed more like roller blades... just uhh alot faster. I tried to ask him but--- he just gave me the usual..."

She gave her best grumpy shadow impression!

" DUN KILL YERELF KID! AND WATCHOUT FOR THE WALLS! "

She huffed as he annoyed her a little to much but! it didn't really help her! So here she was with super fast air skates and no clue how to ride it! Instead she pulled out the 2000 page manual tails gave her!

" He gave me this... but uhh i'm a little dyslexic and uhh... it was a hard read..."

Flask really wasn't sure what she could have done to deserve someone as heroic and cool to be attracted to her, but it was something the albino truly valued. She couldn't hold back a smile at the gentle words of her girlfriend. "It... Means a lot to me when you say it." The small scientist reached up to give Tangle's cheek a kiss.

"Hehe, just so you know... You just... Being here? It helps me feel so much energy that I am not longer even tired!" The mouse beamed up at the long-tailed hero.

"What, a normal job with reasonable hours? Such a novelty for the both of us, isn't it?" Flask giggled. Due to the nature of her research, the albino could be summoned to the lab at any moment, which she was completely fine with normally. But...

"I am currently working on something... Stable enough. I think I can actually make it so my hours match yours!" The small scientist jumped in place excitedly. "We can spend evenings together! Oh! I can start welcoming you from work! All domestic like!"

"Hmmm, air skates? I never tried those. Did he give you instructions? Oh! How high up can they go? I've only skated on quads my entire life, so..." She paused, looking a bit sheepish, when Tangle offered to get her a pair. "I don't know... I am sure someone needs them more than me. But I would be happy to help you figure those out. Ooooooooh, with combination with your tail you will be able to do so many sick tricks!" Flask's eyes lit up just imagining it.

Sher curled her arms fully around flask hugging the smaller girl to her happily. The couldn't suppress her smile, as just being close to the nerdy girl gave her this warm fuzzy feeling all over. It was like the best drug she could ever take amped up to elven! and just feeling her snuggling up close gave her that special high she only got when she was close to Flask. She was so lucky to be with her, so lucky she stuck by her despite her job keeping her away.

" I'm alot better now that i'm with you... ya know i love a good fight but, coming home to your warm arms is like the best thing i could ask for... "

She gave Flask a soft little hug and closed her eyes smiling.

" and i guess so, Eggman is always ramping things up. Just the nature of the job i guess. but hey! new post isn't so bad, just plain ol guard duty while the grand prix is going on! so i'll be home every night for awhile! hehe it'll feel like a normal 9 to 5! "

" Speaking of... i got these cool new shoes from Mr. Prower for watching over the grand prix! wanna help me figure them out? they are ultra cool air skates! maybe i can get you a pair... i could pull a few strings..."

"I've been well, just... All over the place, you know." The mouse smiled. "Not much has been happening, honestly, but I still feel weirdly exhausted." She sighed, burying her face in Tangle's neck.

The lemur had that familiar scent to her. That combined with her lovely bright personality felt like it was healing Flask's fatigue already. "And how have you been? Are you feeling well in general? Your missions seem to have become more dangerous lately..."

Tangle wrapped her arms about the mouse and gave her a nice tight hug! Well that was a nice feeling! that warm sensation washing over her as her own tail swished around behind her! Lucky wasn't anything behind her or it would get knocked over! She was so happy to have the mouse in her arms again and didn't wanna let her go!

" aww hows my baby girl been huh? "

She giggled and held Flask close to her

" Hehe, missed you to... lots and lots! but home for awhile i hope at least, and i am gonna spend it cuddling my cutie! "

"Hehehehe... Tangle!" The mouse laughed, her cheeks growing pink at the touch of her girlfriend's warm hands. Flask happily nuzzled her nose into the lemur's one. Her heart was filling up with warmth and a pleasant fluttering feeling full of love.

"I am!" The albino squeaked happily, her tail swishing over the ground before she leaned in to hug the lemur tightly. "I missed you!"
