I love my family with all of my heart and that's why I'm so much grateful that we have temples which makes families eternal! I'm grateful for the ordinances and covenants we can perform and receive inside as we live worthy lives. I'm grateful that me and my family are helping each other every day to remain worthy to enter the temple. I'm grateful that we are put here on earth with a family that will help us become better version of ourselves. We miss going to the temple as a family but I'm still grateful because while the temples are not fully functioning right now because of COVID19, we were able to make our home feel like the temple through small and simple ways. I'm so much grateful for my family's efforts to do better and be better. They inspire me everyday to do the same. I'm grateful to have them not only in this life but also in the next. I'm grateful for the priesthood power. It's one of the blessings God has given me and my family that I'm very much grateful for. I'm grateful for my father who's worthy to hold the priesthood authority. I'm grateful that because he is striving everyday to be a man of God, not only he can enjoy its blessings but also us, his family. I'm grateful that I can be blessed, healed, and helped because of the priesthood power. It brings to pass miracles from God even in these latter days. This painting by Del Parson is one of my favorite religious paintings! ๐ It's called Joseph Resists Potiphar's Wife. The reason why I love this painting is because it serves as a constant reminder to me and to everyone that we should follow the righteous example of Joseph of the Egypt. When we're tempted to do something unrighteous, the best decision we'll ever make in that very moment is to flee and get ourselves out of that situation (see Genesis 39:10-12). I remember a close friend of mine saying good bye to me. But instead of saying "good bye" he said "choose the right and avoid wickedness." As I pondered what he said to me, I've come to realize how wise the words he used. He told me to "avoid" wickedness. He could have used "fight" but instead he chose to use the word "avoid." For me avoiding wickedness or temptation is much better than fighting it. Avoiding means to put distance from something or someone. It means to be far away from who or what we're avoiding. It is not being right next to it or facing it face to face. It's very important to be prepared now. To have restrictions. To have safety precaustions. President Ezra Taft Benson said, "It is better to prepare and prevent than it is to repair and repent." I hope that we are doing everything we can do to stay clean and worthy to enter the house of the Lord. Nothing can beat the eternal blessings that comes from living a righteous life. ๐ค May we be like Joseph of the Egypt; steadfast and immovable in doing what is right and is pleasing in the eyes of our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. https://www.instagram.com/p/CHKXB4mgeN8/?igshid=161v7zp9ulcya

I always wondered how Heavenly Father can forget our sins, mistakes, and shortcomings as long as we really change and repent of them just as He said in Doctrine and Covenants 58:42, "Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more." As I was listening to the talk entitled "Ensuring a Righteous Judgment", I had this impression: What do you remember about Alma the Younger from the Book of Mormon? He is a righteous disciple of God. He did everything he can to preach the word of God. He invited all to come unto Christ. He also felt much sorrow because of the wickedness of the people and desired to help them correct their ways and follow what is right until his last breath. After I've answered the question impressed to me, I remembered "how" and "why" Alma the Younger started to become a righteous disciple of God. He "was" wicked before he became righteous. He "was" perverting the ways and things of the Lord. He "was" distracting, deceiving, and discouraging people from listening to the words of God and to the teachings of His father, Alma the Elder. Many people did not believe in his father's words because Alma the Younger is setting a wicked example. As I pondered the history of Alma the Younger's life, my wondering and my question on how God doesn't remember our sins no more was answered. Just like Alma the Younger, the moment we decide to change and the moment that our lives have totally changed for the better, Heavenly Father remembers no more our dark, wicked past. Heavenly Father doesn't dwell on the past. He dwells on what is and what is to become of us. We can always change. There is always hope for our self and our life. We can always choose to do better and be better. All these things are possible because of our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. He makes all things possible. No matter how far you've wandered, you can always come back to Him. Alma the Younger was able to do it and so can you. https://www.instagram.com/p/CFq-qxggTgR/?igshid=5nn6kvquylhv

Finally got my Seminary diploma. โจ I'm so joyful to have been a part of this amazing religious education program of the Church I belong in. Seminary has been my little piece of heaven these past five years. I am so grateful for how my testimony was strengthened, the friends I made, and the wonderful lessons I learned and testimonies I heard from the teachers and classmates I had. Having the restored gospel in my life is "oh so good." I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ lives. They love us with an infinite love. This I know with all my heart. ๐ "And as all have notย faith, seek ye diligently andย teachย one another words ofย wisdom; yea, seek ye out of the bestย booksย words of wisdom; ๐จ๐๐๐ ๐ก๐๐๐ง๐ฃ๐๐ฃ๐, ๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ ๐๐ฎ ๐จ๐ฉ๐ช๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ก๐จ๐ค ๐๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐." //Doctrine and Covenants 88:118 https://www.instagram.com/p/CEOheUOgkMG/?igshid=vixl9nqru5pi

"the GOOD ONES ALWAYS WIN." i really did not say that phrase. ๐
it was from a turkish series i was watching during the time i was also reading the book of mormon last year (can you believe it? how did i do that at the same time? ๐ now am i only amazed at what i was able to accomplish before knowing that i finished reading the book of mormon for 2 months. ๐) when the lead actor said to his wife, "the good ones always win," after they were caught in a disaster 'cause of their business problems, it was odd for me 'cause when i heard him say that phrase the first thing that came to my mind was, "woah, that phrase felt like it came from the book of mormon!" moments in my study of book of mormon then came flashing back at me. i remember the nephites, the lamanites, the ANTI-NEPHI-LEHIES, the jaredites, the zoramites, and other more tribes that was or became wicked but through the Lord became righteous people! it's so cool that as we immerse ourselves in the word of God whether it be the Bible, the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price,,, our daily lives will become more meaningful and full of knowledge and wisdom! not only will we be able to realize God's teachings through His spiritual instruments/materials but also in our own produced materials such as (in my experience) the TV series I watched. ๐ i testify that though we are lacking in righteousness, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ still appreciates and loves that we are striving to do better and be better. No effort we make comes to waste. The Lord loves effort (Prophet Nelson)! We all get credit for trying (Elder Holland). Just like the tribes I've mentioned above (and there are still many other tribes as you read and ponder the Book of Mormon), we too can be righteous over and over again (over & over again because along the way to righteousness we will still make mistakes :]). Never give up. Always press forward towards goodness! ๐โจ happy sabbath day! โบ๏ธ๐ https://www.instagram.com/p/CBIVT8xAwlT/?igshid=evcre3r1y6wx

i'm currently reading my old journal and came across this entry. i felt the spirit prompt me to share this to you all though it's very personal to me. โบ๏ธ i wrote it at a time when i realized that i had to do more than what i am doing then. and it still applies to me now more than ever. ๐โจ happy easter everyone! ๐๐ --- february 25, 2018 today, i had a strong desire to become like my Savior, Jesus Christ. today, i had a strong desire to become who I am meant to be. today, i had a strong desire to give all my life to my Father in Heaven. ...i love Him. and i love His Son, Jesus Christ. i remember the times i've seen His hands in my life and i could not deny how much good He is to me, to us. i can't understand how His love is still there for me even if i've let Him down so many times. truly, His love for me and you will forever be there. i have done many mistakes. i have short comings. there are times when i have let the natural man get the most of me. but that didn't stop His love for me. it didn't stop His mercy. it didn't stop His care. it didn't stop His compassion. and it didn't stop Him from being forgiving. HE IS a loving heavenly Father and He understands. He will never leaves us and He will never forsake us. the greatest manifestation of our heavenly Father's love for us is when He gave His Only Begotten Son to us. He wants us to know what JOY is, what LOVE is, what HOPE is, what CHARITY is, and what GRACE is...that is why we have Christ. i love Jesus. he is my Bestfriend. but most importantly, He is my Savior. without Him, i'm nothing. without Him, i won't be writing this. without Him, i'm no where to be found. but because He sacrificed Himself for me, i'm here...ALIVE! and continually striving to be a better child of God. because of Jesus Christ, i get to experience true joy. because of my Savior, Jesus Christ, i know what is love. #happyeaster #atonement #greatestgift https://www.instagram.com/p/B-3_1e6Aoxy/?igshid=1s39m8vm8q961

AJA! kahit gaano man ako ka-antok mamaya, magsusulat ako sa journal ko. ๐ฅบ๐

i have something to say but it's not a big deal anymore. i just really got surprised by what happened early morning.
i was with daddy riding his motorcycle and we almost got hit by a jeepney.
our vehicles were straightly facing each other. if we got hit, it would have a sharp impact on us and we could have flew.
when both the jeepney driver and daddy hit their breaks, I just sat there with my hands firmly holding on to daddy and remembering that my brain stopped thinking. it just felt like i got scared for a moment then after a second i again got into my senses.
the next thing i knew is that daddy started to do what his natural reaction will be, point at the jeepney driver and tell him, "anong ginagawa mo?!" i snapped and tried to cool down my dad. at first i had trouble cooling him down because the one that really has the fault is the jeepney driver. w i t h o u t bias, my dad doesn't have any fault. it was an intersection โ we're on the right path, our way is on green light, we have vehicles behind us that's uniformly moving with us โ then suddenly there's this jeepney that's driving kind of fast than moderate and without hesitation, turns to the left (where the vehicles we're uniformly moving) and met us face to face.
as i look back, i remember the drivers behind us shout angrily and surprised because of what the jeepney driver did. i got scared for a moment but i got more scared when i cannot stop daddy from creating contention with the jeepney driver. i started patting him on his shoulder telling him that we should just get away and never look back to the jeepney driver. but he won't listen. i started pinching him on his side and tell that it's okay, it's now over, no one was harmed, we can all go now. he let out another angry gesture but atleast after that we went away. i started talking while he started becoming quiet. i told him how scary what happened and that why did the jeepney driver think that he could already turn while he can clearly see that we're still on green light. what could he be possibly thinking? but my dad silenced for a couple of seconds then said, "pero at least huminto sya." i realized that he was just really frustrated, nervous, and scared earlier that's why he argued a bit with the jeepney driver but deep inside all he cares about is that we were not harmed, no one was harmed.
as i'm about to sleep, i evaluated my whole day and remembered this. looking back, i thought of the gift of the Holy Ghost. the Spirit knows Heavenly Father's plan for me. He has been instructed that I have an important decision and responsibilities to attend to. I cannot be sick, injured, hurt, or in pain in any way in the physical state. I need to be able. I need to be strong. While I was envisioning all that happened in that moment, I saw the angel standing between the jeepney and the motorcycle we were on. He was there, saving us from any harm.
I'm very grateful that we were not hit by the jeepney. I'm very grateful that daddy was sober and he was able to pull the brakes immediately. I'm very grateful that He let us avoid this kind of accidents though if it happened, i will find my way to accept it BUT thankfully, I am not in the hospital. I can still wall properly. I can still dance. ๐

All things happen for a reason. Nothing is coincidence. Everything has a purpose. May it be big or small, every each of it brings us a valuable lesson, individually or as a family.
I'M GRATEFUL THAT MY DADDY IS NOT HURT! or else, they'd be very sad 'cause today is their mini vacation to Seda hotel. โค๏ธ
I know that Heavenly Father lives. I know the Savior, Jesus Christ lives. They loves us so much. They are always watching over us. We all are Heavenly Father's spirit children, sons or daughters. He has purpose for everything. May we trust, love, and know Him better. We are never neglected in His eyes. He knows us personally. We can always count on Him.
