Look, I’m not saying if Herman Melville was alive today he would totally have an A03/fanfiction.net account… but that’s exactly what I’m saying.
Still went a little over my time limit for this one, but getting faster I think.

Are we really surprised that something viewed predominately as a women's disease, is treated this way? Of COURSE it's abused as a get rich quick scheme and as an excuse to throw expensive parties. No one really cares about women's health. Doesn't mater if it's bodily autonomy or cancer, medicine always dismisses women first.

So proud of my mother for doing her own research after I sent her that meme. A sign she hung in her car window.

Okay I’m currently furious that migraines are often so blindly easy to treat and I had to find this out myself at the age of 26 when I’ve been to a neurologist since I was 11 lol so I’m about to teach you two neat and fast little tricks to deal with pain!
The first is the sternocleidomastoid muscle, or the SCM muscle.
Tumblr media
This big red section is responsible for pain around the eye, cheekbone, and jaw, as well as some temple pain. Literally all you have to do is angle your head down a little, angle it away from the side that hurts, and then you can gently pinch and rub that muscle. I find it best to start at the bottom and travel upwards. The relief is so immediate! You can increase pressure as you feel comfortable doing so.
Here is a short and easy video showing this in action
The second is a fast and easy stretch that soothes your vagus nerve, which is the nerve responsible for calming you down. The vagus nerve, for those unfamiliar, is stimulated by deep breathing such as yawning, sighing, singing, or taking a deep breath to calm your anger in a tense situation.
You can stretch this out by sitting up as straight as possible (this does not have to be perfect to work) and interlacing your fingers. Put your hands on the back of your head with your thumbs going down the sides of your neck and, while keeping your face forward, look all the way to one side with just your eyes. Hold that until you feel the urge to breathe deeply or yawn, or until you can tell there’s a change. Then do the same thing on the other side. When you put your arms down, you should clearly be able to turn your head farther in both directions. If the first session doesn’t get rid of your migraine, rest and repeat as many times as necessary. I even get a little fancy with it and roll my eyes up and down along the outer edge sometimes to stretch as much as I can.
If you need a visual here’s a good video on it. I know some of the language they use seems questionable but this is real and simple science and should not be discarded because it’s been adopted by the trendy wellness crowd!
I seriously cannot believe I didn’t hear a word of this from any doctor in my life. Additionally, if you get frequent recurring migraines, you may want to see a dietician. Migraines can be caused by foods containing histamines, lectin, etc. and can also be caused by high blood pressure in specific situations such as exercise, stress, and even sex.
If any of this information helps you I’d love to hear it btw! It’s so so fast and easy to do. Good luck!

More on the Sanji hate
Thank you for the response to my earlier post (HERE). It’s nice to know plenty of people still support Sanji. I hope you don’t mind me talking about this some more… Feel free to skip if you’re sensitive.
I got a few responses to my Sanji hate post. At first I wasn’t sure if I should respond publicly or not, but since I see it might become a discussion I want to address it because I don’t want things to escalate.
First I am happy for your replies and for being civil about it, because disussing this is a good thing. Much better than trying to ignore or turn a blind eye towards both sides.
@fantasy-hill
You’re 100% right, but, this is not why people hate Sanji. People hate on Sanji because he is misogynist, homophobic, and transphobic, all at the same time, which is a contradiction with his so called “kindness”. (((PS: I love Sanji, and I’m trans, but he makes me REALLY angry because of this.)))
@wineismyname
@fantasy-hill gets it. I really love Sanji and have spent a good portion defending and reasoning his actions in this arc but to turn a blind eye against his sexism and transphobism is unhealthy. Because it shows that you can excuse these things so long as the man is kind and ‘good looking’.
First, I am really sorry that you feel like this, and that it’s Sanji that makes you feel like this. And I want to sat thanks for writing a reply to my post.
I can get angry with Sanji’s portrayal too of course and I do understand your criticism of him. Also, I don’t want to undermine what you feel, because you have all the right to feel whatever you want. I am also glad that you can still say you love Sanji despite his character flaws. However I do not fully agree with you.
First, the reasons you write are not the only reason that people hate Sanji. I brought up just a few particular examples and from being in the fandom for a long time I have come across Sanji hate in various shapes and forms. Of course a lot of people hate Sanji for the reasons you bring up too, but it’s far from everyone. Actually a lot of the time people hate him for seemingly sexist reasons, as when he does things that people generally label as “female traits”. Like how he shows emotion or cries. How he comes across as weak despite being a supposed member of the monster-trio. How he “looks weak” or doesn’t act manly enough etc. I’ve even heard things like “go back to the kitchen where you belong” or the like…
Now, I didn’t really talk about that in my original post because I can still see and understand why people would dislike Sanji for being misogynist, homophobic and transphobic. But I want people to understand that Sanji has become the face for this problem, but that doesn’t mean that he’s the only one to blame. To hate Sanji for these reasons but still love other characters without acknowledging the same flaws means that the reasons probably have less to do with Sanji’s traits and moments where he acts in these ways and more with just wanting to hate Sanji.
They hate Sanji for wanting the invisible fruit to peek on women (again, understandable) but doesn’t ever talk about the fact that Brook has admitted to using his devil fruit abilities to peep on women, while Usopp says he’s jealous about it. I don’t like Sanji touching Nami without consent, but I also don’t like Robin touching Franky without consent. Obviously she doesn’t have any sexual intent behind it, but still, I don’t think it should be seen as ok or ignoreed just because it’s a woman who does it. People rage about Sanji touching Nami (and with right) but also completely ignores the other strawhats laguhing about it. Or Franky kissing that woman in Dressrosa (not to mention Oda’s portrayal of her reaction to Franky’s kiss being extremly sexist). What bothers me is the fact that Sanji seems to take the blame for everything, when he’s far from the only one.
I don’t like Sanji treating the people in Kamabakka kingdom rudely, but at the same time I also know that Sanji cried for Bon Clay and saw him as a friend. From what I remember Sanji only started resenting the people on that island after they tried to chase him and force him to do things he didn’t want to do. Not to mention Sanji is tsundere to men in general, so he acts rude even to people he love. Just watch the Baratie arc and you will have plenty of examples.
Meanwhile Zoro has also had moments where he seems transphobic. Like in Alabasta when he mistakes Teracotta for Igaram and says something like “I knew you had weird hobbies like that” acting shocked. Same thing can be said about pretty much every character in One Piece when it comes to being misogynist. Even Robin has said things like “That’s unlady-like” and Oda writes things all the time being framed as manly or womanly.
Maybe it’s just me, but I actually see Sanji as less misogynist than many other characters as he often is seen complimenting and bringing up good points about the women that has nothing to do with their looks. Yes, he is attracted to them, but that doesn’t mean that he see them as things. The fact that he wants to protect them might be grounded in chivalry that some might see as sexist, I understand this, but at the same time Sanji’s treatment of women is because he sees them as being better than men not lesser. He has never said or acted like the women can’t fend for themselves, he simply wants to protect them if he can because he doesn’t want them to get hurt. In his mind they deserve better than men do. He has done this for the men too, but obviously shows favoritism towards women.
What Sanji has every other character in One Piece has too, because in the end the problem lies in Oda and the fact that Japan has not come as far regarding these issues as a many english-speaking fans are used to. It’s great to talk about them and don’t want to accept them or shrug them off, but I honestly feel that most people that really hate Sanji don’t seem to care about these problems but simply use them to bash Sanji in particular.
Now, moving on to the other reply to your replies. (That was a mouthful)
 @zstheshittycook
@Fantasy-hill, that’s not true. You have a wrong idea about sanji! He is never a phobic kind of man. Don’t you know that’s running gag Oda always play for? And Sanji sinerely thanks goodbye to the Okama! He seems always argue with zoro and yet he has number one tacit support to zoro during fight. He is enemy to marine but he came to rescue but in face value he pulled harsh words to them. He can’t left Kinemo alone when he was still a stranger. What you r saying is not a reason to hate Sanji.
First I want to say thank you for your reply I always appriciate when people want to debate in my posts as it opens up for conversation. But, you should remember that these problems do in fact exist in Sanji and in One Pice in general, and it’s good that people talk about them. The problem is when the talking becomes blaming in stead of being constructive and educating. I agree with you that hating Sanji can seem king of pointless, but I can’t blame people for hating some of his traits. What I have a problem with is the black and white arguments people use, and also the fact that a lot of Sanji-haters really just hate everything about him at this point. It doesn’t matter what he does, it’s always bad. Sanji is a kind man, just as you say, and he is of course kind towards men too. There are a lot of misconceptions that float around regarding Sanji and him hating men is one of them. Him thinking women are weak is another. But if enough people bring up the same problems without actually thinking about it or looking closer it can easily become a fabricated truth. Sadly Sanji suffers from this a lot. Also people need to remember that not everyone is equally educated in these issues. Oda has a completely different Culture that is behind in a lot of these subjects and while it’s good to talk about the problems it’s also important to remember who Oda is and where he is from. What reasons there are for these things excisting in the first place. Sanji is not portrayed to be a horrible person with these traits, it’s Oda who doesn’t know just how bad it is or at least still is raised in an enviroment that has little problem with a lot of Sanji’s bad traits. This goes for the whole series, and not just Sanji.
I’m glad for all of your responses and I hope that this doesn’t offend anyone but rather maybe makes you think in stead. It became a little longer than expected. Thank you for reading.

Sigh, why so much hate towards Sanji?
Now, to be fair I haven’t really seen this problem a lot on tumblr. But since a lot of Sanji-fans also spend time in other forums I still wanted to address the issue here on my tumblr. See it as a defence and also venting post from me about what people have been saying about Sanji during WCI. There will be spoilers up until chapter 892.
So, Sanji’s actions this chapter seem to have made a lot of people fume with anger towards him and how Oda writes him. And to a certain extent I can understand. Oda does use the same jokes a lot, and it does get tiresome after a while. This goes for most of his gags. Also, I can totally understand that some people have a problem with Sanji’s perverted side, it’s not in the taste of everyone and I personally would also like for it to be toned down.
But that being said, it seems to be completely blown out of proportion. This whole arc it seems people have done nothing but complain about Sanji, and I seriously don’t understand most of those complaints. Saying things like Sanji is a bad character when Oda has in fact shown a lot of just how great Sanji really is in this arc. I have personally loved how Oda revealed his past and has focused mostly on Sanji’s kindness, as that is one of his main traits. But a lot of people seem to ignore that.
I get that he might not have had a fight in a while, I miss Sanji’s fights too, but that doesn’t make him a bad character. Him crying in a hopeless situation doesn’t make him a bad character, it makes him human. And Sanji turning into a noodle might not be as funny anymore but that doesn’t make him a bad character either. People seem to get stuck in the moments they don’t like and then just use them as an excuse to hate on everything about Sanji.
Blaming Sanji for the death of Pedro is ridiculous. Sanji left to bake the cake because Big Mom’s own children said it was the best way to defeat her. It wasn’t Sanji’s plan, he was simply the leader of that mission because he’s the most suited for that role. Also, remember that when he left them the group consisted of Luffy, who is his captain and the strongest there, Jinbei who is a former Shichibukai and Perdro himself who is considered rather strong. The fact that Sanji trusted them to be able to deal with their enemies while he went to work on what they believe will defeat Big Mom is not him abandoning them to “feed the enemy”. People complained earlier this arc that Sanji had no trust in Luffy, but now when he shows that he has he’s a bad person who doesn’t care about his nakama? What about Jinbei who was there who just “Let Pedro die” then? Why does the blame fall on Sanji? I think a lot of people simply want to hate on him at this point.
And Pound’s death was also Sanji’s fault? He couldn’t reveal himself, and he did what he could. Pound himself chose to sacrifice his life to save his daughter. And Pedro’s sacrifice was also his own choice. Now Sanji might blame himself either way, because he is a compassionate character with a kind heart. But was it really his fault? Obviously not.
As for Sanji acting like a love-struck noodle in the new chapter (892), did you really expect anything else? He has always had a soft spot for Nami, and it would be odd if that suddenly changed. He did the same when they were about to drown in Arabasta! Or when he showed up to save Usopp from Jyabura in Enies Lobby. We even got to see him worry about Nami recently. This is who Sanji is, and it’s a natural reaction for him. Every strawhat has moments where serious mix with gags, and this is just one of many such moments. The situation is dire, but Sanji doesn’t even know half of it. His crew runs to hug him and he reacts. If you think this isn’t the time for this type of moments, why not blame the other strawhats for hugging Sanji in the first Place?
Nami hugs Sanji for the first time since Baratie and you expect him to not react? The same person who got heart-eyes for Purin even though he knew she might kill him? And with Nami none the less; the woman who he has basically been in love with for years that he has always shown means a lot to him. It’s who he is, and yes it might be too much sometimes, but it would have been a lot weirder if he had no reaction at all. Also, compare this to his reactions right after the timskip, clearly he’s gotten better since then, he’s not dying from a nosebleed anymore. Not to mention he goes back into being serious right after. So maybe chill a little with the hate?
Sanji is a lot more than just a gag or a fighting machine, and personally I love that. Sorry about this rant, but I just don’t think Sanji is being treated fairly, and even though it’s a minority of the fandom this group that hates on Sanji seems to have grown a lot. I just wanted to bring up the issue once more on here.
Thanks for Reading.
(P.S I really liked the latest chapter, and how Sanji was portrayed in it.)

Could you do an au where Echo, Fives and Rex were Jedi, and Anakin, Ashoka, and Obi-Wan were clone troopers? I think it would be great to see. Have a happy new year!
So... here is my Clone Jedi AU but not exactly what you think. 👀
The Clone Knights:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
During the Mandalorian Wars, Mandalorian scientist Demagol created batches of force-sensitive clones.
However, these clones were unstable. After the first few of them went insane and commited suicide, Demagol suspended the experiment and put the remaining clones into stasis chambers.
These clones were hidden for centuries until the Jedi found them while searching the abandoned laboratory.
The Jedi subsequently found a way to avoid the clone madness. They released the oldest clones, including MK-Α-17 and MK-Α-77, from stasis and trained them as Padawans.
After the first generation of Clone Jedi became Knights, they started training the second generation, including MK-2224 and MK-7567.
(*MK means “Mandalorian Knights”.)
Republic Troopers:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Republic troopers are the soldiers of the Galactic Republic; they cooperate with the Jedi Knights to deal with threats from the reconstituted Sith Empire.
