I like the idea of sonic accidentally being a flirt and wooing every new friend he makes. He doesn't realize it because no ones brought it up to him and tails probably just sees it as classic friendly Sonic...knuckles doesn't know what flirting is, tbh.

Amy, Jet, Blaze, Rouge, Shadow, etc. They all had a "is he...into me???"

Eventually they realize he's not actually flirting with them, it's just how he is. He's similar to Rouge in that way. You think she would have flirted back, only for him to be like "huh???" Or maybe she would have just understood.
