as usual, after your last class period before lunch you went to your locker to drop off the books you didn’t need anymore. you heard the familiar laugh of your best friend tara. she was walking with your other friends. “yn! hurry!” she called out skipping toward you.
you shut your locker. “why hurry?” i questioned putting my back over my shoulder.
she placed her hands on your shoulders steadying herself. “colby asked if we wanted to go out for lunch. he got an outside pass and he said ms rogers could get us all one too!”
you had a tilted frown. “uhh maybe next time. i don’t really feel like going out today. plus i was planning to leave halfway through fifth.” you shrugged. the real truth was that you didn’t feel like dealing with sam’s bullshit today.
“nooo you have to come!!” she pleaded. tara was always the one trying to involve you in plans that she and the boys made. you weren’t much of a party person but they sure were.
you shook your head. “no tara, i promise maybe next time. maybe… tomorrow after the football game?” you questioned. tara thought about it and realized she should take what she can get.
she nodded reluctantly. “okay fine. no backing out now! we’re all going! i’ll see you tomorrow?” she asked. you nodded watching as her and the girls left to go to lunch.
the day passed you by as usual. you went home, did what you needed to get done, watched some tv, and then went to bed preparing for tomorrows plans.
the next morning you woke up to more texts than you usually did.
it was a group chat that was made with you, tara, colby, jake, the sturniolo triplets, carrington, larray, quen, and of course they had to add sam golbach.
you groggily groaned at what you saw.
plans !!
colby: what is this
tara: it’s for the plans for today!!
tara: yn you’re going. no backing out
sam: let her back out please
tara: don’t start
sam: start what?
tara: you know what
quen: WHAT THE FUCK IS UP BITCHES
larray: it’s too early for this
tara: okay so plans to go to the football game then out to eat after??
quen: always down for food
larray: me too
chris: nick matt and i too
sam: i guess
yn: wtf is going on
sam: oh great.
you rolled your eyes as he responded to your message.
yn: please stfu thanks
sam: someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed
yn: aw, unfortunately, someone WOKE UP.
colby: LMAO
sam: shut up
you put your phone down and started to get ready for the day. you then got to school and saw the whole group waiting around beside your first period.
you approached them immediately making eye contact with sam. he grinned smugly causing you to roll your eyes. tara noticed and turned around. “hey yn!!” she greeted giving you a hug. “still on for plans today rightttt..” she smiled.
her contagious smile elicited one from you. “of course.”
she cheered as the bell rang. “okay well gotta get to class. see you laterrr!” she sang walking away. you then made quick eye contact with sam before glaring at him and walking inside your class.
sam grinned watching you walk inside before walking away. of course he hated you but something about you has always intrigued him. he didn’t know what. he couldn’t put a finger on it.
by the time school ended you were exhausted and really didn’t feel like staying for the game but tara texted you knowing all too well how you worked.
you groaned as she texted the words. ‘no backing out!!’ you headed toward the front of the school ready to meet up with the group. they insisted on going over to colby’s house and then riding back to school for the football game.
you finally reached them smiling tightly. “okay guys yn is here! let’s goo.” tara said. “yn you can ride with us!”
jake interrupted. “there’s not enough space. she can go with sam?” your blood boiled. “i’m pretty sure you guys can last at least ten minutes without killing each other.”
you sighed. “i just won’t talk to him.” you then headed toward where sam was waiting for him to walk to his car. to distract yourself you took our your phone mindlessly trying to look like you were doing something.
“not like i want you in my car either,” he muttered taking out his keys.
you humorlessly laughed. “like i chose this either way. you probably suck at driving so I'm putting my life at risk.” you sassily remarked.
he sucked in a short breath feeling his patience already thinning. he swung his keys around before walking to his car. he unlocked only the driver's side and got in.
you tried opening the door but he looked at you smiling refusing to unlock it. “can you open the fucking door?” you cursed, pulling the handle.
he frowned. “it’s wise to use manners when speaking to someone doing you a favor.” his fingers hovered over the unlocked symbol.
you gritted your teeth. “open the fucking door sam.”
reluctantly, he unlocked it after you said that, already enjoying the way you got heated up. you climbed in slamming the door crossing your arms.
he looked over. “seatbelt.” he said shortly. you let a breath out of your nose and pulled the belt across your body connecting it to be red receiver.
he loved teasing you. the way you despised every little thing he’d say to you. “drive.” you demanded, starting straight ahead not bothering to look anywhere else. he nodded, trying hard not to laugh.
you guys went to colby’s house and all you did was sit and listen to the conversations held around you. you didn’t feel like hopping in at any time. all you were doing honestly was replaying the moment in the car earlier in the day.
you didn’t know why sam pissed you off so bad but something just irritated you and yet you couldn’t seem to stop thinking about him.
you don’t have time to think further about your feelings because tara screeched. “okay guys let’s go!! game starts in 10.” she spoke chewing on a brownie.
you nodded standing up. you huffed as the whole group exited out colby’s house before heading back to the cars. “you’re with me again.” sam shoved past you.
you glared at him before following him without complaint. you didn’t have the time or the energy to argue with him.
you both were silent on the way to the game. you parked, you walked, and you entered not saying a word. the game went by okay. you didn’t have an amazing time but the game was eventful. you could tell your school and the opposing team had tension in between them.
at the end of the game your school ended up winning by a few points. it was close and the whole school cheered as the whistle blew. your friends cheered as well as sam while you also smiled at the victory.
you guys were not exiting but came across a huddle. tara noticed a friend in the huddle and asked what was going on. that was until one of the girls from the other school spoke up. “oh now you wanna bring other bitches into this? scared as fuck.” the girl cursed.
it was looking like this huddle was a fight waiting to happen.
tara was caught off guard but still defended herself. “first of all, i just came to ask what the fuck was going on. second, don’t call me a bitch.” she sternly said, hands on her hips.
the girl snorted before speaking up. “what the fuck you gonna do about it? this shit has nothing to do with your ass anyway.” the girls' friends who were quite a lot agreed and some had kept their arguments with some other kids from your school going.
tara’s fists balled up. you didn’t want the situation to escalate so you stepped forward putting a hand on tara’s shoulder earning another laugh from the girl. “oh you brought your whole crew because of us?”
you made eye contact with her seeing the smug look on her face. “she didn’t.” you told her. you usually weren’t one to argue or to fight so tara made sure to shake her head letting you know it’s okay.
“oh really, then why the fuck are these unknown people here.” she gestured to your friends.
you slowly began to get more irritated. “maybe because we watched the fucking game together?” the comment pissed the girl off. you could tell. “now you can go get your dogs and leave. the games over and you lost get over it.”
the insult offended her and her friends even more causing her to walk forward. “who the fuck are you calling dogs, bitch?”
you clenched your jaw preparing yourself for what could happen. you clenched your own fists before you heard a male voice. “you guys need to chill. we were just meeting up with a friend.” colby stepped forward causing one of their guys to step forward.
colby glared at the guy but your eyes were dead set on the girl in front of you. “all i’m hearing is these bitches wanted to be nosy.”
tara stepped forward. “what the fuck is your problem?”
you stepped forward with her trying to diffuse the situation but one of her friends took that as you both trying to gang up on her so she stepped forward shoving just you back. you stumbled being caught off guard but then you quickly recovered. “don’t fucking touch me.” you cursed, moving closer.
she raised her brows. “what are you gonna do about it?” she crossed her arms.
you raised one of brows. “oh what am i gonna do about it? do you wanna find out?” your patience was wearing thin. that’s when the girl once again shoved you and tried to swing but missed as you moved back.
while that happened, tara shoved the girl who swung back causing the girl she was arguing with to grab tara by her shirt and pulling her to the side causing her to stumble and fall.
tara then got up and lunged at the girl but before you could do the same to the girl who swung at you, you felt someone’s hands in your shoulder.
the hands grabbed you and pulled you back from lunging at the girl. you didn’t register what was happening, all you wanted to do was punch the girl.
as you were being pulled away you caught a glimpse of the scene. colby trying to diffuse the fight, larry grabs quen from jumping in, jake pulls tara back, sam — no where to be seen.
you wondered where he had gone until you heard the mysterious person speak up. “calm down calm down.” sam.
he held you sternly in his arms pulling you away but not far enough because you could still shout to the girls who were also being pulled away. “that’s why you fucking missed bitch! keep trying it.” you yelled trying to fight your way out of his grasp. that was when you realized who it was holding you. you groaned. “let me go.”
he held you tighter. “no. you’re gonna get fucking expelled yn.” he said sternly his arms fully wrapped around you. “stop fighting me yn. fuck.” he complained before successfully pulling you from the situation and walking you out toward the parking lot.
you looked back seeing that the fight was separated but you didn’t see any of your friends.
you then took a deep breath, adrenaline coursing through your veins. because you were far from the fight sam loosened his grip letting you free yourself from his grasp. “the fuck is your deal?” you immediately went off, the heat of the situation still lurking.
sam immediately became irritated. “my problem? i just fucking saved your ass.”
“saved me?! i can handle myself. i didn’t need you to do shit!” you argued. “i don’t need you to fucking worry about me!”
his jaw clenched. “it’s not my fault i don’t want you to get in fucking trouble yn.” he breathed through his nose.
“since when do you give a fuck about what i do?” you crossed your arms.
“i don’t know! i didn’t fucking expect myself to care about you or want to be protective of you either, alright? i fucking despise you.” he paced around, looking unsure of the words he was spewing out.
“yeah you say that and yet you act like you’re in love with me or some shit.” you replied but as soon as you did, his irritated facial expression dropped and got replaced with one you couldn’t read.
he gulped, refusing to make more eye contact with you. he pressed his lips together, looking stuck in thought. that’s when his next words were spoken up quieter than before: " and what if I was?”
it was like a slap in the face. his words caught you extremely off guard. you didn’t know how to feel, but all you knew was that his words didn’t make you disgusted, irritated, or angry. no, his words made you feel giddy. you felt weird butterflies in your stomach as he said that.
you didn’t know what to say as he moved closer to you. getting inches and inches closer. “you fucking piss me off but somehow… i cannot stop thinking about you.” his face was centimeters away from yours. your lips fell open in awe.
you stood there allowing him to get closer with no complaint. he then whispered, “say something.” he expression made it look as if he was pleading for you to acknowledge him. his eyes desperately searching yours.
you chose your next words carefully, feeling as if you had just come to your true feelings that you buried deep within yourself forever. “i can’t stop thinking about you either.”

Just five more minutes [Sam Golbach]
Tumblr media
——
It was 7 in the morning, Sam had a meeting to go to with the Sturnilio triplets with Colby at 8. Yet here he was, lying in bed with you as he scroll through his media.
Your head moves slightly, and he felt himself smile. “Good morning sleepy head,” he whispered. You groan, burying your head further into his neck, your arm tightening around him. “Let’s go back to sleep,” you mumble.
He let out a laugh, “noo, baby I gotta get up.” Both of his arms wrap tightly around you, his head into your neck giving you soft kisses. “You can cancel the meeting,” you splur out. Sam sighed softly, “the fans have been waiting for this for quite a while…” he sang,
“plus you gotta get ready too. Apparently the Sturnilio’s wanna meet you.” You move your head to look at his icy blue eyes, smiling. “Really? That’s great. But five more minutes please,” you whine, moving forward to kiss his lips.
“Five more minutes, then we have to get ready and leave. Or else you want to hear an angry Colby on the way there—“ Sam laughed out. “I can deal with an angry Colby. Angry Colby is like, a girl on a period.” You shrugged.
“Oh I am so telling Colby you said that!” A gasp erupts Sam, and you look at him with an expression also. “You wouldn’t tell on your own girlfriend to your best friend would you?” You ask him.
He hesitated, but said. “Bros before hoes!!“ with a laughter following behind. Now it was time for your shocked expression, getting up from him and grabbing your pillow from your side to stuff his face with it. “That’s it, I’m getting ready alone!” You shout, “baby I’m only kidding,” laughter still erupted Sam.
——
A/N- thanks for reading, I thought I’d just put a blurb for Sam out there. There isn’t any Sam fics on here to read, so from now on I’ll start off with blurbs and maybe get into a bigger fic as well if I have motivation. Other than that, thanks for reading! 🫶

I have wanted to write for Fields of Mistria since i first spoke to this colourful characters. It honestly has become my comfort game and i have fallen for this blue haired Merchant. March is my number one, but Balor deserves love to people! Also i refer to Juniper as Plum and Eiland as Peach once in this story as irl i kept forgetting they're names so i just called them that because of their hair colour.
No warnings unless you think cheesy flirting is one
An Apple Heart | Balor x Reader
Tumblr media
“My my, this is a surprise, Good morning!” Balor’s calm voice called out from the town stairs, making you practically jump out of his skin as you back away from the merchant's cart. His eager smile and soft wave met your startled gaze from atop the stairs. After waking up earlier than normal this morning, you decided to go walk around the town before everyone else awoke for the day. Although you never actually made it to those stone steps, something on Balor’s cart had caught your eye.
“Balor! Good morning! I wasn't going to steal anything! I was only looking, I swear!” Your mild panic and hands waving in front of you only caused the merchant to chuckle, walking to your side.
“Well that's such a shame… And here I thought you came to steal my heart.” Balor’s voice flirted, taking your hand into his as he gently kissed it. “Although… you already have my dear.” “KYAAHHHH” A loud scream erupted from your chest as you pulled your hand away like a kid touching something gross. Balor’s chuckle turned into an eruption of laughter at how surprised you were.
“That was not the reaction I was going for but I will take it. That was so cute!” Laughter only continues to increase through his quick paced words. Your own face only grew redder and redder the more he laughed, to be honest it was hard to tell if he was laughing at what just happened or the fact he started tripping on his feet that was making him laugh.
“Balor! What was that for? Since when did you openly flirt with people?” A questioning suspicion laced your voice as you managed to gain your composure.
“Oh I'm sorry, that is unlike me.” He is still lightly laughing as he’s coming down from whatever laughing fit just erupted from him. Taking a deep breath to relax, the merchant straightened up and dusted off the side of his poncho before usual smile returned. “I apologise for startling you, Juniper and Eiland decided to give flirting tips at the Inn last night. I was unfortunate enough to get caught in the middle, they uh… this is embarrassing… They won’t let me back into the Inn until I give them a report on which of they’re flirting styles works better.”
“Wait wait wait… So they are actually keeping you out of the Inn just because of this flirt battle they’re having?” The curious cat in you is only poking him for more details.
“They actually got Reina and her whole family to stop me from entering the Inn until I give them my ‘findings’. Which is both a blessing and a curse it would seem.” A finger pressed against his chin as he leans against his cart, pondering his next few words.
You only raised an eyebrow to him, tilting your head like a puppy. “Blessing and a curse?”
“As much as i really don’t want to get back to those Dragons and Drama’s. My late night drink is something I would prefer to keep on a Friday.” A mild scoff escapes his lips as he thinks about the D&D game Eiland dragged him into. In Fact that same game is how this whole flirting debacle happened. Juniper may not be in the game but she can hear everything that goes on from her seat at the bar. And it was during their last game that Eiland decided to have the group roll for a persuasion check on a group of women to ‘flirt’ they’re way through a city’s borders. Or something to that effect Balor wasn’t exactly paying attention. Wasn't until Juniper was suddenly pulling him into her side with her arm on his shoulder whilst Eiland tried to move her away that he was suddenly aware of what was happening.
Now it’s your turn to laugh and Balor’s face to turn a perfect ruby red. “So! You mean to tell me, "You… got caught in a flirting battle between Peach and Plum Because of Dragon’s and Drama!?”
“Yes…” Balor only looked away rubbing the back of his neck before chuckling himself. “Eiland thinks the more honest approach works… That was my attempt at Juniper’s style. And from your reaction I'm going to agree with Eiland.”
“Well I'm not a very good observer, Balor. You would need to use almost everyone in town to get a valid result.” Pondering for a moment you began thinking how everyone else would react to what he did. Sure it was sweet and forward, but it’s also very unlike him, hence why you were startled.
“What if I don't want to do that with others?” Your thinking stopped like a deer in headlights, blinking confused at him, an almost comedic heh escaping your lips as you stared at him. “I was on my way to my cart to retrieve something… for you actually and well here you are.”
“For me…? Balor, what are you getting at?” Question after question ran through your head as he continued on
“When this whole situation happened I honestly dreaded it. I’m not one to openly flirt with someone unless I have genuine appreciation and trust for them. Then I realised… this dumb pickle I've gotten myself in gave me the perfect excuse to give you this…” He moved around his cart and reached inside, shuffling through his wares for a moment before pulling something out. It was shiny from what you could tell. “I had Hayden grow this for me… Celine and I worked together to preserve this so it would rot away before I had a chance to give it to you. Here.”
Turning around in one swift motion, he showed you what he had hidden to his chest, An Apple? In the shape of a heart, it was shiny from being encased in a crystal resin-like substance, making it almost look like a crystal apple. That was what you spotted earlier that lured you here. Was Mistria pulling her thread to lead the both of you here?
Reaching out for your hand, he gently pulled you towards him, the back of your hand laying in the palm of his as he placed the gift gently in your hand. Never once letting go of your hand as he made eye-contact with you. All you saw was love. “I may not be able to grow flowers, crops or anything really… but I can sell them in a heartbeat. Sometimes I wish for something I can allow my heart to keep… What I'm asking is. Will you accept this gift as a sign of my love and admiration for you?”
“Balor…” The warmest smile painted your face as you gratefully accepted this gift, holding it tightly to his chest with one hand as you moved your free hand to his shoulder. Placing a soft kiss to his cheek before smiling again, “Maybe use this as your report to Juniper.”
Not far away from you watching from the stone steps was none other than Eiland and Juniper, standing side by side with smug grins. Juniper’s hand on her hip, a victorious smile on her face, Eiland leaning on the wall to watch the new couple. High-fiving quietly as they walked away from the scene, going unseen the entire time. Mission successful.

all i ask is a mobius fic with a fellow tva worker who find out they have a life together on the timeline 🙏🙏🙏
- 🚑
it’s silent in the shared space. mobius was eating his key lime pie, but he’d only gotten three bites in (you counted) when he suddenly expressed disinterest in consuming the dessert and more interest in picking at it as if he’s trying to dissect it.
you sit in front of him, feeling newly close despite the distance created by the small table. there’s no pie in front of you, instead a cup of hot chocolate that you’d once left alone to cool but not it sat completely uninterested.
the two of you have been sitting like this for nearly half an hour, no doubt thinking about the same thing.
still, mobius asks.
he takes a breath and the sound of metal against porcelain forces you to look up from the table. “so …” mobius adjusts his blazer. “what’re you thinking about?” he says it casually, a smile on his lips as he awaits your response.
you try to replicate his tone, but charm and charisma doesn’t come to you that easily. your voice barely wavers when you say, “us.”
mobius’ face falls as if he hadn’t been expecting your response. but when he glances down at the table, you see that he was expecting it.
“yeah. me too.”
silence once more befalls the space of the pie room, but it’s not awkward. it’s full of longing, each of you creating scenarios of what life is like now that you know your lives are intertwined in more ways than how it is now.
“d’you think we get along well?”
your question causes mobius to scoff as if it’s the most absurd question he’d ever heard.
“of course we get along. look at us now. you have your hot chocolate i have my pie. we’re like two peas.”
you can’t help but smile at his words despite the conjoining of the two foods making absolutely no sense. mobius, seemingly uplifted by his own doing, picks up his spoon and takes a hearty bite of his pie. it encourages you to take a gulp of your hot chocolate, now more so lukewarm than anything else.
and somewhere out there on the sacred timeline, the two of you live a beautiful life together.
a small home, decorated with pictures of yourself and your nieces and nephews. it’s quaint enough for the two of you but there’s an extra bedroom that provides inspiration. sometimes you find yourself standing in it, hands on your hips as you look around at the four walls. your wedding ring and the band is easily swirled around your finger as you think, and the anniversary necklace is toyed with along your neck. eventually, mobius will come up next to you to rest his hand along your back and rub against your skin through the layers.
“there’s still time,” he always reminds you. and that’s just the thing. the two of you, living life on the sacred timeline, have time.

She Keeps Me Up
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
➪the one where you and tyler decide to spend some time on the kitchen counter after a night out.
Warnings: smut, fluff, unprotected sex, oral (f receiving), mentions of alcohol consumption, i pictured reader a bit younger so maybe small age gap ?
Word Count: 1.7k
Do not repost this anywhere, reblogs are fine ♡ | THANK YOU FOR 5.3K FOLLOWERS
You and Tyler were a bit tipsy as you stumbled into your house at one in the morning.
The entryway was dark, and instead of turning the light on for him to be able to see what he was doing, you left him in the darkness and sauntered off into the kitchen. Tyler scoffed and shook his head, a faint smirk on his lips as he kicked off his boots and followed after you.
He found you rummaging through the fridge, and when you turned to face him with a can of whipped cream in your hand, his smirk grew. “What are you doin’?” He asked, his voice a bit deeper than normal due to the few beers he had at the dive bar down the road. “You promised me that you would go right to bed when we got home.”
You lifted a brow and tilted your head. “That doesn’t sound like me,” you said back, grinning at him before popping the lid off and letting the piece of plastic fall to the tiled floor. “Want some?” You asked with a teasing smile that had Tyler stepping further into the room.
“I’m aware it doesn’t sound like you. That’s why I’m not surprised you’re being a little troublemaker as usual,” he said back. “And you know I don’t eat that crap, I just buy it for you.”
He was now standing in front of you, his grin matching yours as his hands found their normal place on your hips.
“Besides, you taste better than what’s in that can, anyway,” he added and you bit down on your lip as he leaned down and brushed his lips against your ear. “Let me take you to bed, baby. Please?”
Never had Tyler ever been one to beg before he met you, but now he would gladly get on his fucking knees and do it if it meant he got a taste of you. Getting him to admit that, though…that was an entirely different thing.
Tyler leaned further in to press his lips to yours, but you pulled away before he could get a taste of your sweet mouth. “What’s wrong with right here?” You hummed, rounding the island as you licked the tip of the can.
His eyes took in the stripe of white that coats your tongue before it disappeared back inside your mouth, and he huffed before slowly walking towards you again. “You’re such a brat,” he grunted before grabbing the can from your hand and tossing it carelessly onto the counter behind him. His hands reached down to grip the backs of your thighs, and he lifted you up onto the island counter. “But I’ll play your little game, baby.”
You grinned as he positioned himself between your thighs and connected your lips in a deep, whipped cream tasting kiss. His tongue brushed along yours, the sweet treat coating his own taste buds as he tangled his fingers in your hair and tilted your head a bit for better access to your mouth. “You’re too easy,” you smirked before leaning back in and kissing him again.
Tyler groaned against your mouth as his hands worked on unbuttoning your jeans and sliding them down your legs until they landed on the floor. His hands slid up your bare thighs before reaching around you to grab your ass, and he gave it a firm squeeze before his fingers hooked inside your panties as he dragged them down your legs as well. He broke away from the kiss to look you in the eyes, a teasing glint in his green orbs. “That’s a pretty bold thing to say to the guy who’s about to go down on you, sweetheart,” he murmured and reveled in the quiet moan that left your lips as he dropped to his knees on the tile and tugged you closer to the edge of the counter.
“You’d never deny me,” you managed to say as he gripped your knees and spread your legs apart before leaning in to begin placing kisses along your soft skin. “Ty, please.”
He smirked against your inner thigh at how quickly he got you to be the one who was begging, before he leaned in and licked a stripe up your folds, parting them with his tongue. “Mm, fuck yeah,” he groaned, glancing up at you in the dark kitchen as you gripped the edge of the counter. “You taste way better than the shit that’s in that can.”
You laughed quietly before immediately moaning as he sucked your puffy clit into his mouth and flicked his tongue over it a few times. “Oh fuck,” you whimpered as your grip tightened on the marble surface. “Just like that, Ty.”
Tyler groaned again, pulling away from your clit to press soft kisses to your wet slit. “You’re so wet for me, baby,” he praised before burying his face in your pussy.
“Tyler,” you gasped, reaching down to tug on his hair. “So good…feels so good.”
He hummed at your words, his hands gripping your hips as he practically devoured you as if he was a starved man. Your body rolled against his face as your moans got louder and louder, and he knew you were already getting close.
The dancing and touching you and he were doing at the bar was definitely a form of foreplay since you both were already riled and worked up. It wasn’t surprising that you were already close to coming.
“Please,” you whimpered, threading your fingers through his hair as you leaned further back on the counter. “Please.”
He could tell from the whine in your voice that you were seconds away from your sweet release, but since you decided to be a bit of a brat both at the bar and now here, he pulled away from your heat before you could cum on his tongue.
“Not yet,” he murmured, blowing a puff of cool air directly onto your drenched core before standing up.
You whined and opened your mouth to complain like always, but he silenced you before anything could be said by kissing you deeply and messily. His tongue brushed against yours as his hands moved down to his jeans, his fingers fumbling with the zipper. “I need you,” you whimpered against his mouth, sliding your hands down his chest until your fingers curled around his white tee and dragged it up until the fabric was off his shoulders and on the floor.
Tyler freed his aching cock as you pulled him towards you, and a second later he was burying himself deep inside your tight warmth. “Fuck,” he groaned, his big hands coming up to squeeze your breasts through your shirt before he quickly pulls the thin fabric off you and scrambles to unhook your bra. “You feel so good.”
You moaned before leaning up to kiss him deeply, your bare chest bumping against his as he fucked you hard on the counter. Your hands pulled on his hair and made it messy as he grunted against your lips, the feeling of your tight body wrapped around his never failing to make him go a bit feral.
He breaks the kiss and looks down at where his cock disappeared and reappeared with each thrust, and he locked his jaw to hold back his moans. You felt so fucking good, he wasn’t sure how he was ever supposed to get used to having you like this since every time felt better than the last, and he’s been with you for two years now. “So fuckin’ perfect,” he nearly growled, his thumbs coming up to pinch your nipples into stiff peaks. “Fuck, I love you.”
You moaned, tipping your head back as he ravished your chest with his greedy hands. “Mm, I love you,” you say back, threading your fingers through his hair again before tugging firmly at the strands. “Fuck me, Ty. Harder.”
Tyler grunted, gripping your hips as he lifted you up until you were barely being held up by the counter anymore, instead just by his arms. The sweet sound of your moans spurred him on, and the faint slapping of his skin against yours sounded throughout the kitchen, and it was times like this when he was glad you and he finally were able to get your own house, because now he could be as rough as he wanted, and you could get as loud as you wanted. The thin walls of your old apartment did very little to muffle the sounds you and he made during sex, and he was sure your neighbors were thrilled the day you moved out and began living with him.
“Oh fuck,” you moaned, pulling on his hair harder as he stretches you open, making you entirely his for the taking. “Just like that, Ty. It’s so good.”
“You’re so tight,” he muttered, leaning down to press his lips to your neck. Despite the harsh pounding of his hips, Tyler’s kisses are soft and sweet, and a nice contrast to the way he was currently shaping you so you could only take him. “Fuck, you’re gonna make me cum.”
One of his hands left your hip and reached in between your bodies, his middle finger instantly finding your clit.
“I want you to cum too, baby,” he rasped as you moaned desperately and clung onto his shoulders.
“I’m gonna…” you trail off as you bury your face against the side of his neck. “Oh, my God.” Then you were coming around his cock, his name falling from your lips over and over again as your body trembled in his arms.
“There you go. There you go, baby,” he murmured, kissing along your neck as he fucked you through your high until he came too. Sweat ran down his forehead as he buried himself in you one final time before filling you up, feeling the way your walls greedily took everything he had. “Fuck, you’re so good.”
You grinned and leaned in to press your forehead against his. “See? Wasn’t that better than just going to sleep?” You asked with a teasing tone in your voice that had Tyler rolling his eyes and pressing a quick kiss to your lips.
“Yeah yeah,” he mumbled, slowly pulling out of you but keeping your legs locked around his waist. “You’re lucky you’re hot.”
A quiet laugh left your lips as you hugged him close. “So, what are you thinking; shower? Or bed?”

Oh, This Isn't New
Tumblr media
Everyone thinks that they aren't dating and just have major crushes on each other and are oblivious, but they really are dating.
Peter Maximoff x Mutant!Reader
"Oh, my god. Just admit that you like each other and go out already!" One of their friends exclaimed. The whole group has had enough of the constant flirting without either of them doing anything about it.
(Y/N) pretends to be oblivious. "You like me?" She placed her hand over her heart, looking up at him with a half-grin.
Playing along, Peter takes her hand in his and looks down at her with a smirk. "I do. I have for a while now."
(Y/N) smirks, "Tough," and goes to walk away but gets pulled back. Peter pulls her close to his chest and kisses her in front of the others. All of their friends were shocked at the sudden turn of events.
"Don’t be like that. You love me." Peter coos against her lips.
(Y/N) pulls away smirking. "Yeah, I do." And kisses Peter again.
"WAIT! WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?" Scott stares at the two confused. The rest of the group was equally confused, except for Jean.
Peter looks at their friends, "Oh, we’ve been dating for almost a year now."
"I'm actually surprised none of you noticed." (Y/N) said from her spot in Peter's arms.
"So you guys have been dating in secret for almost a year?" Kurt looked between the two.
"Oh, it was never a secret. We just didn't shout it out whenever we entered a room together." (Y/N) looks up at Peter. "We really didn't hide it. Like at all."
"Yeah, we were always together. How'd you guys not know?" Peter tilts his head at them.
"We just thought that was how you always are with each other." Scott shakes his head.
"Well, I mean yeah. We've always been close even before we started dating. But we are almost never not in the same room." (Y/N) motions between the two. "And we're almost always touching in some way, so it kinda seems like you guys are to blame for not noticing and not us."

“shes a pistol, ty. hope you can handle her” javier begins, removing his sunnies and leans against his white truck while looking at tyler across the driveway of your mothers house.
tyler smiles to himself at the mention of you. he looks in his wallet, a picture of you and him at a rodeo. you’re wearing his red flannel and white cowboy hat as you kiss his cheek.
a picture he treasured most. no one knew about this picture in his wallet. it was his own little secret, you didn’t even know he had the polaroid.
tyler and you both majored in meteorology throughout your time in college. storm chasers had a limited dating pool. nobody was willing to chase after these monstrous storms in such a way and then return to laugh about it over a few beers.
that’s why he took such a liking to you.
tyler didn't try to hide his feelings first. he would constantly try to convince you to go out with him or do something else, but you would never accept his advances. you didn't believe that you could put up with his ego.
till you began chasing with him.
since then, you saw a side of him that you didn’t know. tyler was a kind hearted man, caring for the people that fell victim to these storms. he was so intelligent that it made you rethink your own decisions, that was rare.
before you knew it, you started falling for tyler owens. the rest is history.
“i’m thinkin bout asking her to move in with me after we get this storm tonight.” tyler confesses to javier, a sly smirk on his face. javier’s eyebrows raise, cocking his hip to the side and crossing his arms.
“you think she’ll say yes?”
tyler presses his lips into a thin smile, stuffing his wallet into his back pocket where it belongs. “i hope so.” he answers, looking up towards the house.
tyler had decided it was time to take the next step with you. he had been thinking about asking you to move in with him for a while now, and he was sure it was the right decision.
he loved you deeply and couldn’t imagine his life without you. he wanted to wake up next to you every morning, cook breakfast together, and spend evenings cuddled up on the couch watching movies.
the thought of you living together filled him with excitement and joy, and he couldn’t wait to see the look on your face when he popped the question.
“guys!” lilly hollers, exiting the rv, running towards the pair. “we have huge activity southeast. we gotta move, now!”
there’s a tension that settled in over the group as they all scrambled to get their things together and radars ready.
tyler’s first thought was you. he takes off, boots stomping in the puddles as he swings the screen door open.
“y/n?” he hollers, taking his sunglasses off.
“up here!” you answer, drying your hair after a shower.
you watch in the mirror as tyler appears in the doorway, “whats up?” you ask, dropping your hand by your sides. “there’s one southeast. big one.” he’s almost grinning hoping to get you excited but his smile drops when you don’t react.
there’s a silence as you begin to rake product through the ends of your hair. “cmon, we don’t wanna miss it. lilly says it’ll touch down in an hour at least.”
“m’not goin” you reply, looking into his eyes from the mirror. “what? whaddya mean?”
“it’s mom” you answer, followed by a sigh. “she’s doing bad again, she’s freaking out over it and i’m just gonna stay with her. the house isn’t in the path so it should be fine” you say, turning to him.
you can see a soft frown on his lips as he looks down at you, “we always chase together.”
you smile sadly, and nod. you let your hand come up and caress his cheek. “i know, darlin. we’ll get the next one i promise.”
you press a quick kiss on his lips, “be safe, baby.” he replies, kissing the top of your head and heading off with the crew.
the atmosphere was thick and heavy with a sense of impending doom as the tornado began to take shape. the clouds churned and wracked, twisting into a massive, menacing funnel cloud. the noise was deafening, a high-pitched roar that seemed to come from everywhere at once.
gusts of wind howled like a beast, tearing at anything in their path. this was no ordinary twister; this was an EF5, the most powerful and destructive tornado there was. it loomed on the horizon, a sinister harbinger of disaster.
tyler, now chasing the storm, was strapped into his well-worn red dodge. his eyes fixed on the churning sky as he chased a massive storm through the southeast landscapes. his truck was a trusted companion, having borne him through countless weather events.
its engine roared confidently as tyler navigated the treacherous terrain, seeking the perfect position to observe the storm up close and capture its raw power. he was fueled by a deep passion for the spectacle of the weather and driven by the adrenalin rush of being in the heart of the swirling chaos.
“you seein this, T?!” boone hollers from the passenger seat. “i’m seein it boone!” he yells back, knuckles white on the steering wheel.
tyler doesn’t remove his eyes from the storm raging in the wheat field, but something feels off. something isn’t right.
“what is it, ty?” javier calls over the radio noticing his decreasing speed. tyler is too mesmerized by the black clouds, he doesn’t reply. “T?” boone calls.
“something’s wrong.” he mumbles, “the path..the path is changing!” he says hurriedly watching the surroundings.
lilly pipes from the backseat, “its moving northwest! heading straight for mayberry!”
“shit.” tyler hits his steering wheel before making a sharp turn, turning around.
“the path is shifting!” boone alerts over the radio.
tyler’s heart launched in his chest watching the twister hurtling towards the small town where you lived. he’d often worried about this, and now his worst nightmare was unfolding before his eyes.
his grip tightened on the steering wheel, and his eyes darkened as he gunned the engine, pushing the red dodge to its limits. he had to get to you, had to make sure you were safe. his mind raced as he calculated how much time he had, the seconds ticking away in an excruciating countdown.
there was no warning, the storm was moving too unpredictably. you should’ve monitored it closer, you should’ve been more prepared.
the house trembled violently as the tornado tore through the neighborhood.
the windows shattered, spraying glass everywhere. the walls creaked and groaned, buckling under the immense pressure of the onslaught.
pictures fell from the walls, their frames splattering on the floor. furniture was hurled around like toys, breaking apart as it smashed into the remaining walls.
“mom!” you holler, staying low to the ground reaching out for her. she takes your hand and you pull her close to your body.
“hold on tight!” you scream.
the two of you huddled together, their screams blending into the cacophony, their eyes wide with terror. outside, the world had become a blur of debris and chaos, the swirling vortex ripping everything apart in its path.
tyler stepped out of his truck followed by boone and lilly. his heart thudding heavily in his chest as he saw the destruction hoping beyond hope that she was safe. but the sight that greeted him was a nightmare. your once-cheerful home had been reduced to a pile of rubble, the remnants of your life scattered among the wreckage. the tornado had ripped through the property, leaving destruction in its wake.
the property wasn’t recognizable, the only way he knew it was your home was your white jeep wrapped around the willow tree.
tyler’s hands come up and run thorough his hair, “oh god..” he breathes. “jesus christ..” boone says just above a whisper.
tyler can’t let his emotions get the best of him. he needed to find you.
“y/n!” he hollers.
“y/n!” lilly screams. “ms.l/n” boone calls for your mom.
tyler pushes his way through the debris, his eyes scanning the rubble for any sign of you.
he continued to pulled lumber, pillars, glass and furniture for what felt like hours. “y/n!” his heart thudding against his chest with every moment that passed. panic clawed at his gut as he continued his desperate search.
finally, he heard a faint sound, like a whimper. he turned, and there you were, buried under a pile of rubble.
his breath caught in his throat as he carefully dug you out, his hands trembling.
as your face came into view, it was smeared with dirt and blood, but your eyes widened with relief as you saw him. “t?” you rasp.
he gently picked you up, cradling you against him like a fragile doll.
"i'm here," he whispered, his voice rough with emotion. "im here, and you're going to be okay."
you wince, standing on the unstable ground. “mom..” you croak, tears brimming down your eyes again. “she’s down there..”
tyler nods, he looks back at boone and was about to go down and search for her but boone stops him. “i got her.”
boone disappears in the pile of rubble, then he emerges with your mother in his arms. “we need an ambulance!”
tyler nods and leaves you with lilly to call for first responders.
“‘m fine, t.” you say, say in the back of the ambulance. “just makin sure..” he whispered taking your arm in his hands and scanning your skin. he needed to make sure you weren’t seriously injured, even though you were just checked out by ems.
“t..” you sighs as he continues, his hand snow on either side of your face moving your head around still checking. “tyler.” you call him again, this time your hands gripping his wrists.
his eyes meet yours, the sign of tears still staining your cheeks. “i’m okay, i promise” you assure, smiling. “jus glad you made it to me, how’d you know?”
tyler shrugs, “the wind started morning north, learned it from you.” he answers, coming to your side and pulling you in.
you stay there for a while, the sirens flooding your ears and the lights illuminating the place where your home once stood. tyler rubs your shoulders and pulls the emergency blanket tighter around your body.
you lean your head against his shoulder and wrap your arm around his. “is now a bad time to ask if you want to live with me?” he looks down at you.
“what?” you look up at him.
and maybe it wasn’t the right time, but he didn’t know if he’d ever get the chance to ask you.
“live with me. hell, bring your mom. i don’t care, just..” he reaches for your hand. “i just know that i love you and i want you around even more than you already are.” he laughs lightly, continuing to rub your shoulder.
“i would love to live with you.”
tyler smiles proudly, squeezing you closer to his side.
“now i just needa marry you.”

About Time
Tyler Owens x Childhood Friend!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You’ve been Tyler’s best friend since childhood, but a near-death experience makes him realize he feels much more for you than friendship and he shouldn’t have allowed himself to deny it for so long.
Warnings/Notes: cursing, mild angst, mostly fluff, typos
Words: 2300
Masterlist
It was when he almost lost you that Tyler knew he was in love with you. When he was forced to play tug of war with the violent winds to keep you in his arms. When he felt your chest move against his with your shallow, rapid breaths. When he heard his name, a soft whimper from quivering lips.
“T–Tyler…”
He tightened his grasp on your waist and mumbled, “I got you, darlin’. Just don't let go.”
At that moment, he didn't know if he could protect you, but the alternative was an unbearable thought. Living without you was unimaginable, unacceptable, so if the winds planned to take you, they would have no choice but to take him, too. Then at least you'd be going together.
He’d always felt something for you, and he understood that he probably always would, but he'd been unwilling to give it a name more intense than a teenage crush that just happened to last well past its expiration date. And while your perpetually growing beauty and intoxicating laugh made it hard for him to tame what he continued to feel, he’d managed.
But that fear of imminent death—more potent than ever—tapped into the depths of those feelings he’d been swallowing for more than a decade. The abuse of pelting rain and flying debris paled in comparison to the overwhelming storm breaking free from the neglected portion of his heart.
Once disaster moved along, you looked up at him with wide, weary eyes, and he couldn’t think clearly past the repetitive chanting in his head: ‘I love you, I love you, I love you’. Adrenaline was rushing through his veins, overpowering every other sense of logic and reason. He pushed strands of damp hair from your face, cupped your cheeks, then leaned down and sealed his lips to yours in a deep kiss. The first kiss. A kiss that typically has a much better outcome than what followed.
He hasn't seen you since that day. A week has come and gone and not one glimpse of your face, and now he’s more desperate for the sight than he’s ever been before. Missing you when you’re not around is far from new, but having released his feelings, the all-consuming sensation is worse. It’s harder to tolerate.
You're avoiding him, he knows it, but he supposes that can happen when someone kisses their best friend with no prior discussion of deeper feelings. It's not what he would do were the situation reversed—he'd still be all over you, kissing you back, smiling, never letting you go—but you've chosen to handle things quite differently, and in doing so, has left him no choice but to respond accordingly.
“Mornin’,” you hear, nearly dropping the pail of milk you’d been collecting all morning. Eyes darting to your right, you find Tyler sitting in one of the living room's quilted armchairs. Your heartbeat stutters.
When you turn your head to the left, your mother is leaning against the kitchen countertop, her fluffy robe tied around her body and a cup of steaming coffee in her hands that she brings to her lips as she reads the newspaper splayed out beside her.
“Mom, what is Tyler doing here?”
She glances up, swallows, and swipes her tongue across her bottom lip to catch the remnants of caramel-colored liquid. “Oh gosh, dear, he must've snuck in,” she replies, feigning ignorance. “But I’m not one for kickin’ anyone—especially not a fine, young man—off my property, so I guess he’ll just have to stay.”
With a huff, you set the pail down on the breakfast table, knowing your mother will take care of it, and shoot her a glare before making your way to the living room. Tyler stares up at you. You cross your arms and nudge your head toward the storage barn just behind the house where the two of you used to hold your late-night meetings when you were children, and later, teenagers. Many nights you spent in that barn after Tyler had snuck out of his parent’s house and chucked a pebble at your window to wake you.
Tyler nods and follows you out the back door to the large structure that protects your privacy from the prying ears of the woman inside the house.
“We gotta get you a new phone, darlin’,” Tyler says to your back once you're enclosed in the barn. “The one you've got doesn't seem to be receiving my calls…or texts…or elaborate voicemails.”
“Tyler…” you sigh, twisting to face him.
“You know we gotta talk about it,” he says. And he’s right, despite how the complicated element introduced into your relationship is entirely his fault and so you shouldn’t have to owe him the time of day until you're ready to give it. “You didn’t have to run away from me.”
“I didn’t run.” Tyler’s eyes follow the movement of your arms wrapping tighter around yourself and he swallows hard. “I walked.”
“Speed-walked,” he counters. “Borderline jogged.”
You groan, your tense shoulders sagging. “Tyler listen, I just–”
“Do you really think disappearing on me was a fair thing to do?” he interrupts. “I’m your best friend.”
Your jaw drops at the audacity. Not surprising, really; Tyler’s always had a way of wording things that gets under people’s skin, but out of the two of you, he is the last person who should be doling out the criticism.
“Fair?” you huff. “You’re the one who–”
“I mean, what was so wrong with it?” Long fingers slide through his blond hair. “Can you honestly say you’ve never thought about me in that way? It hasn’t crossed your mind once? No sex dreams? Nothin’? ‘Cause I’ve been wrestlin’ with it since fuckin’ high school, but ok, sure, fine.”
“Ty–”
“And I know it was unexpected but was it really that shocking? Don’t you think we’d be good together? I think we’d–”
“For fuck’s sake, Tyler, will you let me talk!” you snap, your voice carrying throughout the barn.
If you were trying to preserve your privacy, you’ve definitely failed now. Half of town probably heard you and they’re nothing short of a mile away, but at this point, Tyler has pushed you well past caring. Let them hear. Let them know what’s going on between you. They all saw him kiss you anyway.
“We nearly died,” you continue. “People around us did die.”
Tyler’s face breaks down and you instantly regret your words. You know he stuck around after you left. You know he helped everyone he could in the aftermath of disaster while you let your emotions override your system and ran home to cry to your mother over how he just rocked what was your very steady relationship.
“Look,” you sigh. “Even if I wasn’t thinking about death—and that is a massive ‘if’—I told myself a long time ago that you are my friend, just my friend.”
Tyler’s hands settle on his hips. His eyes fall to the floor and his back teeth clench. “Why?”
“Because I repeated it so many times in my head that it solidified,” you tell him, throwing your arms up. “You know why Bradley dumped me last year? And Pete a couple years before that? And Bobby back in high school?” you ask. “Because of you. They all sensed this weird…energy…from you. All of them. Do you know how many times I had to tell them they were crazy? Do you know how many times I had to tell myself that I was crazy whenever they brought it up to me and I actually considered the possibility of you feeling that way?”
You know exactly how many. Bobby had mentioned it five times before he decided he was done; broke it off with you right before prom and scoffed when he saw that Tyler had stepped up as your date. Pete was shorter-lived; asked you about Tyler three times before he said he could see which way the wind was blowing and had no interest in getting in between anything. And Bradley held the record at seven, each time making the fight outdo the one prior before he was simply fed up with the friendship you refused to sacrifice. Three boyfriends have ditched you solely because of Tyler, and fifteen times you had to talk yourself down from the jolt of excitement you got from imagining him loving you.
Taking a deep breath, you say, “You don’t just get to kiss me and not let me sort out my thoughts for five damn seconds.”
Tyler’s head snaps up, jaw ticking and eyes blazing. “Five seconds?” he spits. “I haven’t seen you in a week. That’s the longest we’ve gone since I graduated.”
“This isn’t just about you; how you feel; what you think; what you want.”
“Then what are you tellin’ me?” Tyler asks.
The light quiver in his voice unnerves you. Not because you aren’t used to him expressing himself to the fullest—and if he’s ever going to be vulnerable with anyone, it’s with you—but that quiver is typically the trigger for you comforting him, taking him into your arms and holding him, letting him wrap himself around you until he feels better and is ready to stop. For some reason, you never noticed how long he would stay tied to you when you gave him the chance.
“Are you feelin’ like this is it?” he continues. “Are you wantin’ us to be done?”
And suddenly, you’re irritated again. You can’t stop the roll of your eyes. In no universe would you ever be done with Tyler Owens, and the fact that he would entertain otherwise is asinine. “Don't be dramatic.”
“Well, what do you expect!” he shouts. “You’re actin’ like I’m about to lose you!”
“I didn’t say anything like that!”
“But you're mad that I kissed you!”
“Damn it, Tyler! I am not!”
Green eyes widen, his breaths heavy from his heaving chest. His mouth opens then closes then opens once more. “You’re—” He licks his lips as you watch him grasp for words. “Then why haven't you called me back?”
You shrug. “I don't know. We've never fought before, and I thought you'd be pissed that I walked off, which clearly you are, so…”
“That’s not true,” he says, moving to take a step closer to you before thinking better of it and staying put. “I haven’t been pissed, darlin’, just terrified. And missing you. And…wanting you.” Heat flares your cheeks, forcing you to tear your eyes away from the desperation in his. “But I’m sorry. I wasn’t tryin’ to…I mean, you left and I thought…”
You shake your head. Whatever he let himself think, he was wrong.
The silence that settles over you is thicker than you're used to in his presence. You're used to laughter and jokes, sweet comments and banter. Tension zings in the space between your bodies, but it's pleasant, electrifying, invigorating. You feel the full impact of everything that was tucked underneath the stress and anxiety of barrelling through such a hard conversation.
Tyler feels it too. His face shows it. His eyes you can only describe as heatedly glittering as he stares at you staring at him. His brows are pinched from frustration of a different kind. It's his lips, though, that reveal his thoughts better than any other feature. They're softly parted, glistening from a swipe of his tongue like he's ready to lock them to yours at any second. Like he needs to be ready just in case you give him the go-ahead so he can kiss you before you dare rescind your permission.
“What are you thinking?” you ask, words quieter than you meant for them to be, but Tyler hears you.
His chuckle is short, half-formed, partially overtaken by the exhale of a breath. You detect a slight tease, as if you should already know the answer to that question.
“That I wanna kiss you again,” he says. “So fuckin’ bad.”
The corners of your mouth struggle not to quirk upward. “Tyler.” He hums. “You know what it means if we do this, right?”
He nods. “We can’t go back,” he says. “But darlin’, I don’t wanna go back. I wanna keep on goin’...with you.”
“Everything will be different.”
“Not everything. We're still us, we'd just be kissin’ and touchin’ and, you know, doin’ other stuff,” he replies with a smile. “Hopefully.”
You picture Tyler standing before you as you have secretly wished you could have him for years—bare and muscled and grinning and telling you he loves you—and for the first time, you aren’t awash with guilt and shame. It feels right to think of him like this. Natural. There’s a soothing ocean of serenity flowing under the flames of desire, and it hits you that this was probably inevitable. All the pieces were there—friendship, trust, love—all there was left to do was act on it.
“You won't change your mind?” you ask, stepping to him.
At your question, distress takes over Tyler's face, but it melts into a grin once he notices your smirk. He closes the remaining distance between you and takes your hand, carefully interlocking your fingers.
“No chance,” he tells you.
“Ok,” you say, nodding. “Well, if you’re absolutely sure, then I guess it’s ok if you kiss me agai–”
Your chuckle is muffled against his lips. His fingers untangle from yours and he guides your hand to rest on the back of his neck so he can cup your cheek. His free arm coils around your waist, pulling you in closer, and your body melts into his. Your brain fuzzes. You lose all awareness of your surroundings. You think you might just stay like this forever.

WORTH YOUR WHILE
Tumblr media
pairing. Tyler Owens x fem!reader
summary. as the local weather woman, you shared an interesting rivalry with your hometown storm-chaser. while you always reported on the dangerous weather from a safe distance, tyler barreled into it head-first. but things change the night of the county fair when you find yourself in the middle of a storm rather than in the safely of a newsroom.
warnings. dramatic fluff, hurt/comfort, description of tornados, a curse word or two, description of injury, slightly inaccurate meteorological info.
word count. 2.9k || masterlist
a/n. hopping on the glen powell bandwagon bc he and daisy absolutely killed it in twisters!! feel free to send me requests for tyler, kate, and javi!
Tumblr media
“If you keep looking at him like that your face will get stuck in a scowl, which is really bad for television,” your friend said, leaning into your side. With a roll of your eyes, you managed to pull your attention away from the self-titled ‘tornado wrangler’ who had stirred up a fuss in the line for funnel cakes. People buzzed all around him as he signed shirts and took photos, never dropping his smile that you often dreamed about smacking right off of his face.
You had grown up alongside Tyler Owens, never as friends but as friends of friends. After you both split off for school to study meteorology, you returned to your hometown for very different reasons. Tyler started in the business of storm chasing, live streaming his adventures to people all across the internet who sensationalized the dangerous weather, and you scored a job as your hometown’s Weather Woman. Your job was to warn people about the threat of tornados while his was to drive head-on into them.
That was where you two drew your lines in the sand when it came to each other. He thought you were scared of taking risks while you thought his thrill-seeking was stupid and would eventually get him or one of his team members hurt. Those opinions on each other's job led to you two butting heads every time you encountered one another. His mere presence was enough to annoy you, especially at your favorite event of the summer, the fair.
“Look who it is,” Tyler’s voice sounded near you and your friend nudged your arm in the direction of it. You looked away from her just as he approached you, tipping his hat and flashing his teeth in a smile. “Didn’t know they still let you out of the newsroom these days.”
You crossed your arms over your chest, as the air of arrogance surrounding him nearly choked you out. “Don’t you have a tornado to chase?” you asked, wanting to end the conversation before it fully started. Unfortunately, he never seemed put off by your jabs, but he was assumed by them.
“I took the night off,” he replied. “I wanted to see if there was anything worth my while here tonight.”
You raised your brows. “Oh really?” He nodded, smiling brightly at you. “Find anything yet?”
“Maybe,” he shrugged. “It’d be easier if she answered my phone calls.”
Tyler disliked you a whole lot less than you disliked him. After you graduated and he started storm chasing, he tried at every given opportunity to get you to join his team. Even years later he still tried to, no matter how many times you told him the risk he was putting himself and his team in every time they barreled into a storm cell. He was relentless but you were happy where you were at. You wanted to help people when it came to severe weather, not make the storm look enticing for internet audiences.
“I already told you, I’m not interested.” Storm chasing was a dangerous game that you had no intention of playing. Being from the Midwest, you had lived through your share of tornados. Chasing them was not in apart of your career path.
His smile faded slightly before he seemed to snap back to himself. “All I’m saying is, we could use a mind like yours out in the field.” The compliment was nice, you could admit that to yourself, but it wouldn’t win you over. He knew that too. “But suit yourself.” And with that he walked off, meeting up with the rest of his team that joined him at the fair that night.
Your friend whistled lowly. “I don’t know how you do it,” she said.
“Do what?”
“Say no to a man like that.” You rolled your eyes once more as the line you were in moved. As she stepped forward to order, you threw a quick glance over your shoulder in the direction Tyler had walked off in. You saw him happily chatting with his team before glancing back at you for just a moment before you returned your gaze forward.
The rest of the evening passed in a blur of colorful lights, sticky heat, and enough fried food to make your stomach ache in the best possible way. Your friend left after a couple hours of roaming the prize barns and laughing at the kids screaming their heads off on the carnival rides, but you stuck around for a little longer, relishing in the sweet nostalgia the fair brought you.
Before you had taken a couple of well-deserved days of work, you and your team had predicted a storm front moving. Later that night was supposed to bring rainfall and a thunderstorm or two popping up around the county and neighboring areas. You thought you’d have plenty of time to roam the fair for a little longer until it hit, but you noticed the shift in the weather almost immediately. The sudden uptick in wind pricked the back of your neck as the distant rumble of thunder echoed above the fair chaos.
It was difficult to predict everything, that you had learned early on in your career. It also was hard to predict how quickly weather could change from bad to deadly. One moment you’re gazing up through the lights into the night sky, trying to gauge the incoming storm, and the next, the sirens are blaring across the fairgrounds.
The crowd of people running in every direction made the walkways hazardous. You were knocked into and jostled around as you tried to run toward the restrooms that doubled as storm shelters. They were clear at the opposite end of the walkway, but they were your closest option. You dodged and weaved through the swarms of people, trying to stay on your feet.
You only made it halfway to the shelter when you were stopped by the awful cries of a little girl who sat under the counter of one of the carnival games. She hugged her knees to her chest and called out for her mom, but no one who rushed by stopped. You didn’t think twice before you sidestepped the fleeing crowd and crouched down in front of the little girl. The wind picked up significantly, blowing the cheap prizes right out of the booths and sending everything flying around and knocking into people.
“Hey, sweetheart,” you raised your voice above the howl of wind and frantic people.
“My mom!” she cried harder. “I lost her. I don’t know where she is!”
You glanced back up at the sky. The lightning strikes illuminated the massive, dark mass moving in quickly. “Come with me, and I’ll help you find her, okay?”
The noise all around grew louder, frightening the little girl, along with yourself, but as you outstretched your hand, she took it, and you quickly pulled her to her feet before you both took off running. The speakers urged everyone to seek shelter immediately, but you watched as people raced in the opposite direction of the shelters, probably bee-lining to cars in an awful call. They’d never out race it.
“Charlotte!” Someone screamed and the little girl whipped her head around before she tugged hard on your hand. From behind you, the little girl’s mother appeared, immediately scooping up her daughter in her arms. “Oh my, God. Thank you!” she said, looking at you with teary eyes.
“We have to take cover,” you told her, gently pushing her forward. “The shelter’s just up that way.” She thanked you again before she took off with her daughter in her arms. You wanted to follow, it was stupid not to when the wind gusts became more powerful, rattling everything dangerously and making it hard to think. But there were more people unsure of where to go and what to do. Groups of kids who had been dropped off for the evening stumbling frantically out of the rides and still dizzy. You stepped from the path and tried to direct people as best you could, shouting in tune with the speaker and the sirens for them to hurry into the shelter.
It wasn’t until larger objects were plucked from the ground and tossed into the air like paper did you abandoned your aiding. The tornado screeched to life, ripping apart pieces of the show barns and rides with ease. You tried to close the distance between yourself and the shelter once more, but it wasn’t people in need that stopped you, it was a sheet of metal pried from the side of one of the food trucks. You tried to dodge the hurling objects, but the sheet came at you hard and fast.
It sliced your shin, sending a wave of pain up through the rest of your leg. You stumbled, determined to stay upright, but the wind was too strong for your limping figure, and you toppled against the concrete, slamming your knees against the ground before you rolled over into the lousy shelter of a game’s tent somehow still standing.
Panic started to set in as the storm raged around you, loud and monstrous. You covered your wound with your hands, unsure of where the blaring of the tornado ended and the fast-paced beat of your heart started, drumming in your ears and beating against your skull. You knew you couldn’t stay there, but leaving was just as dangerous as every attraction of the fair swirled around in the air. The cut from your leg painted your hands red and throbbed; it would only slow you down if you tried to run, creating even more of a risk.
You didn’t know what to do. All of your life, the storms you had faced you’d always been lucky enough to find shelter in plenty of time, from the cellar in your backyard to your high school’s basement created just for such an occasion.
Through the freight train sounding winds and your thundering heart, you heard a couple of voices that had to be close. Tearing your eyes away from the cut on your leg, you watched as another group of people sprinted down the walkway as someone yelled behind them to run.
In all of your life, you’d never been so relieved to see Tyler Owens’s face standing just a few feet away; he hadn’t spotted you, and for a terrifying moment you thought he’d be unable to hear you yell out above the screaming storm. But somehow, he did. His head snapped in your direction, rain-coated and windblown, looking both out of sorts and in his element.
“What the hell are you doing?” he yelled as he ran over to you, dodging flying debris that grew larger by the minute. The second he crouched down in front of you, his eyes flickered onto your legs, and the blood seeping out between your fingers as you tried to keep pressure on the wound.
“I thought I’d just hang out here,” you said, your sarcasm watered down by the fear clear in your teary eyes.
His brows furrowed, deep in thought for a moment as he looked between you and the distance there was still to cross to the only close shelter. Without saying a word, he peeled off his wet flannel, leaving himself in a shirt that was already nearly soaked through as the sideways rain beat down against the both of you. “I’m gonna tie this around your leg and then we’re gonna run, okay?”
You shook your head frantically. The ache in your legs was intense and you had already lost a good amount of blood, not enough to make you woozy but you were well on your way. It felt like your heart had crawled up your throat, making it hard to breathe as panic soaked you to the bone along with the rain. Everything around you seemed to be ripped from the ground, even the anchored tent you were under was seconds away from being picked up.
“Hey,” he said, grabbing a hold of your shoulders, shaking you slightly. “It’ll be alright. You gotta trust me, though.” The sincerity shined in his eyes, bright as the rest of the power around you flickered wickedly. With a nod of your head, you dropped your hands from your leg and let him tie the flannel around your cut. As he pulled it tight, you cried out in pain. “I’m sorry,” he kept repeating until it was knotted. Quickly, he jumped to his feet and helped you up, looping an arm around your waist as you slung an arm around his shoulders.
“Ready?” You didn’t get a chance to respond as the tent you were under was plucked from the ground, anchors and all, and flung backward into the tornado as it tore through the front entrance of the fairgrounds. Tyler took off, giving you no choice but to follow.
You two stayed low, trying desperately to avoid the flying objects. With each step your leg burned, but Tyler’s hold on you was strong, not giving any room for you to lag behind or slip away. It felt like hours of running, but it was no more than a minute or two before you reached the shelter. The only major injury between the two of you was your leg, otherwise, you both collected a series of little cuts and bruises from your journey.
Stumbling into the restroom, you were met with a hoard of scared fairgoers. You two managed to find a spot to slot yourself in with everyone else. He helped you lower yourself to the floor back in the corner just as the tornado was fully on top of you. You brought your knees up to your chest and covered your head. Tyler sat flushed against your side; you felt his hands rest over the top of yours as the building rattled violently. Squeezing your eyes shut, you refused to see the damage until the howl of wind subsided and people started to stir.
Once it was over, everyone stumbled out of the shelter, getting jumbled together as police and ambulances rushed to the scene. Amongst people pushing and shoving to find their loved ones and get the hell home, you and Tyler were separated and before you could look for him, an EMT caught sight of your bloodied leg and ushered you to one of the ambulances.
You sat on the back after the EMT stitched up your leg, looking over the torn-apart fairgrounds. Debris was littered everywhere, food trucks and carts overturned and some demolished, and rides were dislocated and strewn about in pieces.
You clutched the bloodied flannel to your chest, shivering in the loss of adrenaline and temperature drop, and watched the sea of people until a familiar face popped into view, looking a little frantic as he stumbled through the crowd looking like he was in search of something. His eyes finally settled on you before he quickly pushed his way through the crowd until he reached you.
“Hi,” you greeted, smiling tiredly.
“I was looking for you everywhere,” he said, sounding slightly out of breath. “I looked away for a second and you were gone and-” You continued to smile, and he stopped himself. “What? Why are you looking at me like that?”
“Nothing,” you replied quietly before clearing your throat. “I, um, I just wanted to thank you. And I’m sorry for ruining your flannel.” You gestured to the ruined piece of clothing resting in your lap.
Tyler was quiet for a moment, looking at the large bandage around your shin. “Don’t mention it,” he said, brushing off your thanks like he hadn’t just pretty much saved your life. “What were you doing out there anyway?”
You sighed, feeling a creep of embarrassment up your spine. You should’ve known better but at the moment you just wanted to help people and had little regard for your own safety, until your leg was sliced open, that was. “There were people still out there, trying to figure out where to go. I was trying to help.”
“That was stupid,” he said. “But brave. Stupidly brave, maybe.”
“Funny. I think I’ve said the same thing about you a time for two.”
His signature smirk slowly fell onto his lips. “Not to my face.”
“Oh, no. Never.”
Tyler laughed, gently patting your knee, lingering for a moment before he dropped his hand back at his side. Someone called out your name, and you spotted your friend running back through the crowd. She had called you as soon as you had made it to the ambulance and told you she’d come back to take you home.
“You should get some rest,” he said. “I’ll see you around.” As he turned around to walk away, you called out to him.
“Tyler, wait.” He paused. “You should try calling me again. Maybe I’ll answer this time.” Breaking out in a grin, he tipped his hat in another goodbye, leaving you with a new feeling stirring inside your chest.
Bonus!
Hours later, after you had cleaned yourself up, you were tucked into bed, reading by the lamp light knowing sleep was probably far off after the events of the night. You didn’t expect your phone to ring that late into the night, and when you glanced at it, you couldn’t help but roll your eyes at the caller ID, but that time it was something besides annoyance that you felt.
You answered, discarding your book on your nightstand. “You don’t waste any time do you,” you teased.
“What I can say,” Tyler said on the other line. “I know when I find something worth my while.”

"BITCHLESS & DICKLESS' bradley rooster bradshaw x fem!reader
Tumblr media
It was a busy Friday night at the Hard Deck, you and Penny the only two working and barely able to keep up with the constant flow of customers coming through, it only seemed to get even more crowded and rowdy when a small group of sailors fresh off the base come through, taking up a couple of the tables near the juke box. They signal you over and you make your towards them, order pad in hand incase they order more than just beer.
"Hey guys, how can i help you?" You ask, your voice upbeat and a smile on your face. It was sticky hot outside and you knew your shirt was clinging to your skin because of it, you tried not to feel too uncomfortable with the obvious way two of the men were staring at you. "Eyes up here, fellas." You say, giving a playful angry look. You were used to being looked at, it kind of came with the job title of bartender, but that didn't mean that it didn't make you uncomfortable.
One of the men cocks a smirk at you, leaning back easily in his seat. "They'll have a round of Budweiser," He says, his eyes not leaving you once as he gestures towards his friends. "and i'll have your number, sweetness."
Before you can open your mouth to object politely, one of his buddies beats you to it. "Hey, Hanks, give some of us a chance with her damn." He chuckles flashing you a smile.
"How about none of you get a chance?" You say sweetly, laughing with his buddies. "I'll be back with the beers in a minute." You shake your head, walking back to the bar. You grab six cold beers from the ice box and start putting them on a serving tray.
"Those boys gonna be trouble?" Penny asks, maneuvering her way behind you with a few drinks of her own. You hadn't realized that she had heard the interaction.
"No, they'll be fine." You shake your head, glancing back over at the table as you pop the tops off of the bottles one by one. The one that had asked for your number, Hanks, was staring at you and talking to the rest of his friends at the same time. His gaze unsettled you, but you carried on with your job anyway. You make your way back over to them, planting your serving smile back on to your face as you start handing out their beers. "Alright fellas, let me know if there's anything else i can get you, okay?"
"That phone number is still wanted, honey." Hanks' friend says, taking a sip from his bottle. He shoots you a wink and manspreads in his chair, you perk an eyebrow at him. What was it with navy boys being so goddamn persistent?
"I'm sure it is honey," You say, your voice a little more stern on the matter this time around. "but my boyfriend sure wouldn't appreciate me giving it out to random navy boys that walk into my bar." You turn to head back towards the actual bar, where you see Penny starting struggle.
"I don't see him around, im sure what he don't know won't kill him!" Hanks voice calls after you, its almost admirable how persistent they are, it was afterall one of the more endearing qualities about your boyfriend when you first met him, although you had to say that he hadn't been nearly as uncomfortable as these boys were.
"Oh he'll be around!" You call back over your shoulder, not noticing that at that moment said boyfriend and his group of friends had walked through the front door of the bar. You didn't notice them for quite a few minuets, giving them plenty of time to get to their usual seats as you worked on the fresh wave of customers at the bar, mixing drinks and handing them out almost mechanically.
After around twenty minutes or so Bradley comes up to the bar, standing directly behind you, your back turned as you pour beer from the tap. "Here you g-Bradley!" You exclaim excitedly, nearly spilling the beer in your hands before you hand it to the man standing next to him.
"Hey baby," He says, his voice gruff and hoars, tired. He gladly accepts your kiss as you lean across the bar for it, pressing his lips against your own. He was still wearing his flight suit, and still covered in sweat, and a quick glance towards the others told you everything y ou needed to know.
"Rough day?" You look at him, eyes questioning as you get to work making their drinks. Whiskey neat for Jake, Scotch on the rocks for Bradley and Natasha and a pop for Bob, your favorite sober companion most evenings.
"You could say that," He says, a deep sigh leaving his chest as he watches you, already feeling more at ease. You didnt pry any farther, knowing he would tell you all about it in bed that night. "When are you off?"
You pout, coming around the bar with the drinks on a serving tray. "Not until nearly closing tonight," You say, walking with him towards the others. Bradley studiously takes the tray from you, ever the gentleman even on his roughest days, his arm brushing your shoulder as you walk. "Hey guys," You greet, giving Jake and Bob your usual friendly kiss on the cheek, and with a giggle you give one to Nat too when she taps hers and gives you a lopsided grin. You could tell by looks on their faces that they all needed a dose of happiness.
"Where's mine?" Bradley whines, hand on your hip possessively. You roll your eyes at him but lean up to kiss his waiting cheek anyway, adoring the small smile that tugs at the corners of his lips.
"Awe come on Rooster, you get her all the time, let the rest of us have some." Natasha says, causing you to throw your head back in a laugh, leaning farther into your boyfriend. Your laugh was infectious and the whole group lets out a chuckle, you watch their bodies relax afterwards. "Might want to keep em coming, Y/N , it's been a rough one.."
Jake looks somewhere behind you, eyebrows pinched, stare hard. "Looks like you're in need, Y/N" He says, raising his whiskey to his lips to take a sip.
You look over your shoulder, your eyes landing on the group of sailors from earlier on the other side of the bar. "Those guys again," You sigh, grabbing your tray off the table.
Bob grabs your wrist before you go, and you furrow your brow at him. "Are those guys giving you a hard time?" He asks quietly, he knew Bradley was already on edge as it was and didn't want him looking for a fight.
"Nothing i can't handle, Bobby," You say, ruffling his hair with a wink before heading off towards the group, putting some pep back in your step. "Ready for round two already, fellas?"
The night drags on quickly and slowly all at the same time, customers come and go, drinks are made and made again and carried out to tables. The two main groups being your Boyfriend and the rest of the daggers and the group of boat boys who become more rowdy as the night drags on.
Bradley is already uneasy with them as it is, catching them staring at you one too many times and asking for your number more than once, to which you studiously turn them down, looking his way as if asking for help. He knew he would step in when needed, but he also hoped that didn't need to happen, he knew Penny would talk to Mav and Mav would talk his ear off about it tomorrow on base.
Your patience had more than worn thin, and you were counting down the minuets until your shift was over, hoping that the last half an hour would pass without any issues. Your hopes were wrong though.
You were bringing the group of boat boys another round of beers and a couple of waters and were just picking up the empties and placing them on your tray when you feel it, a large, sweaty hand sliding up the back of your thigh and right up onto your ass, giving it a heavy squeeze. Your eyes widen. "You wanna lose that fucking hand?" You ask, voice gruff as you stand up straight. The entire table quiets.
"What? Fly girl over there is good enough to squeeze this thick ass but i'm not?" Natasha had playfully smacked your ass on her way to the restroom a short time ago, something the two of you had grown close enough as friends to do. It had made you laugh, but this? Oh this was an entirely different ball game.
You see red, and off in the distance you hear Bradley and Jake both yell and the sounds of chairs scraping against the floor as they all get up abruptly. Youve done it before they can even reach you though. The tray drops from your grasp, your dominant hand balling up as the sound of shattering glass reaches your ears and your fist collides with Hanks' face, right between the eyes. You feel a sickening crunch under the force of the blow and blood spurts out of his nostrils as he slumps down, you had hit him hard enough to knock him out.
"What the fuck?!?" Bradley is next to you, arm out protectively as his friends all stand from their seats, ready to brawl over what you had done, even though their pig of a friend had done worse in your opinion. "Y/N?"
"Bitchless and Dickless over there can't catch a fucking hint!" You yell lunging for his friend. Rooster's arms hold you back though before you can make contact with him, the entire bar watches you scream and kick at the sailor as your boyfriend drags you out towards the parking lot. "Fucking assholes! Squeezed my fucking ass!"
Surprisingly, Bob is the first to throw a punch. He had been watching the idiots mess with you all night long along with Rooster. And after their long ass day he was just as ready to fight as the rest of them, infact, he actually took pleasure in what he did. His fist collides squarely with Hanks' friend and Natasha drags the already semi conscious asshole across the floor after you and Bradley, Penny coming to help her.
"Jesus christ baby, you started a fucking brawl!" Bradley laughs, opening the passenger door of the bronco, shoving all of his stuff onto the floorboard as he sets you up on the seat. "That was so fucking hot," He says, hearing police sirens in the distance already. "You have no idea how bad i want to fuck you right now but i can't have you going to jail tonight, buckle in tight baby.." He says, closing your door before running around to the drivers side, the only the thought on his mind is getting you home where you're safe and in your guys' bed, preferably underneath of him.

Could I ask for Bradley with the sidewalk rule if you feel up for it, please?
Absolutely!!!!
Tumblr media
You notice it on the first date.
It was subtle. You two had just stepped out of the restaurant onto the busy street. Bradley's hand remained on your wrist, gently guiding you.
At first you thought it was a coincidence. How every time you crossed the street, Bradley moved himself so he was on the side that faced traffic.
It had to be a coincidence. There was no way anyone still did that.
But Bradley kept on doing that. On your second date. On your third date. The fourth and so on.
Maybe it was because he was left-handed? Maybe it had something to do with being a pilot? Being in the Navy?
Your theory that he just had to be closest to the ocean went out the window when you two traveled to Tennessee to visit his dad's family.
So you decided to test it out.
You and Bradley were walking towards Bob's housewarming party, getting there close to the start time (since someone couldn't keep their hands to themselves) left little parking options.
Bradley had offered his hand to help you get out of the Bronco, the gesture still making your heart melt after all this time.
Getting out of hand holding with Bradley wouldn't be easy. It took several comments about how your lips were dry before you could wrangle your hand out of his, reaching for your purse.
As you pretended to look for that chapstick, your eyes darted down, allowing you to cross over Bradley, situating yourself on the side that faced traffic.
Bradley stopped in his tracks, brown eyes squinting as he processed what you just did.
He huffs and it's fucking adorable. He all but jogs to catch up. There's no space left for him, giving Bradley no choice but to place his hands on your hips, allowing him to guide you back.
"I knew it!" Your eyes had lit up, the moment of eureka all over your face.
"Knew what?" His brows were knitted together in confusion.
"You actually follow the sidewalk rule!"
Bradley simply shrugged, a stark contrast to the eureka you were feeling, "Well yeah. Have you, did you just notice that?"
A giggle erupted from your lips as you stepped closer, "I didn't think people still did that. Thought it was something that only happened in the 1940s."
Bradley crossed his arms over his chest, a pink dusting spreading across his face as his lips formed into what could best be described as lovesick.
"I mean, you do say that I'm your favorite old man."

sitting in old!logan's lap while you do your make up 😩😩😩😩 I NEED HIM SO BADFDDDDDDDD
A/N: fluffy, age gap, 18+ f!reader, old!logan, mildly suggestive content
old!logan doesn’t pretend to understand or be interested in the things that your generation inexplicably find entertaining, but he adores you
he could watch you for hours as you do the things you do, fix the odd meals you get from online platforms, apply different colors to your eyelids
that’s his favorite, when you’re sitting on his lap at your vanity and he’s rubbing softly on your thighs, kissing your neck and shoulder while you talk
you talk him through your skincare routine and the color palettes you like to use, you show him what each different sized brush is for and he nods
but he’s not interested in your makeup, “you don’t even need that shit, baby doll,” he murmurs against your neck and you roll your eyes as you apply blush
“i know i don’t, but i like it,” you say with a giggle as he nips at your earlobe, logan chuckles and one of his hands rubs on your tummy
“let me buy you more then,” he says, holding you close to him as he slowly pulls the skirt of your dress up, making you tremble excitedly
“it’s expensive,” you whisper, sighing as his lips suck on the sweet spot at the base of your neck and your brush drops onto the vanity with a soft clatter
“you’re worth it,” logan says as he has you stand up so you can turn around and straddle him, he admires the finished look of your light makeup and kisses you
“so pretty, baby,” he sighs, holding you close as you make out and you know after this you’re going to have to reapply your makeup before you leave
This was the cutest, I cry🥹💕

TASM peter parker x reader
Tumblr media
peter rested against the window with a big huff, waiting patiently for you to open your apartment window that was on the seventh floor. his suit leg was halfway out the bag, his head dripping with a bit of blood onto your outside floor.
you finally came into your room, not knowing peter was there. your towel was on your body, fresh from the shower. you hummed slightly to yourself, peter smiling as he heard it. you dropped your towel and peter closed his eyes, knowing you (even if he’s seen you naked more then 400 times) would kick him out of the shared room between the two to get changed.
“ah!” you squealed, as you placed your shirt and peter’s head quickly went from the window to you. you were looking down at the floor paranoid, your shirt covering your top half and black panties covering your bottom. you crawled around, searching for whatever little insect that spooked you. peter had enough of waiting for you out in the cold, so he groaned when he moved and opened the sliding window.
you didn’t notice of how cold it got, looking underneath your bed for the rodent. you didn’t notice the new presence in the shared room either. “hey,” peter spoke out first. you honked your head on the bottom of your bed with a yelp, “you could’ve easily gotten murdered.” he giggled out, his smile brightened even more if possible. you looked up from your spot on your knees, “peter benjamin parker!” you got up, hitting his chest softly with each word.
“don’t scare me like that.” you sat back down on your bed, putting your soft silky pajamas on. “i liked the show of what i was seeing no,” he whined, dipping down to his knees and placing his head between your neck, leaving wet trails of kisses everywhere. you giggled softly, tingles all around your body as his connected with yours. “you stink,” you held your nose teasingly, looking at his eyes with one certain look.
he gasped at you, “however could you say that about me?” he kissed your lips, “you love this stinky boy.” you nod, “why yes i do— but i just took a shower and i don’t wanna smell like whatever you’re smelling. so please shower!” you shoved him lightly, kissing his dirty cheek.
“oh wait,” you looked at the spot that was damaged on his head, “no no it’s fine my love. it’s nothing but a scratch see?” he removed the dirt that was covering it, a long scratch it was. “yes but it looks deep peter.” you muttered. “i’ll put a bandaid on after my shower, but after that if you want to properly clean it you can.”
silence filled your room once again, and you got on your knees once more to find the rodent that was living rent free in your apartment you shared with peter. “where the heck did you go,” you whined, with a chancla in your hand ready to squash it as soon as it came out of its hiding spot.
five to ten minutes pass, and then the cockroach came out from the dresser. you gasped chasing it, and squatting it with the chancla you had. picking up the chancla, you looked at the bottom of the black shoe and made a gross noise. footsteps could be heard, and there was peter standing in the doorway with a towel wrapped around his waist.
“you got the killer little thing?” his sweet voice asked you. “mhmhm, disgusting. i can’t believe one was roaming around rent free in our apartment,” you sputter out while walking to the bathroom to flush it down. peter opened the shared closet door, picking his pajamas and putting his boxers on.
he put on his shirt, and decided to just sleep in shirt and boxers. you were already in bed snuggled deep into covers, so he drew the curtains of your bay window and turned off the light, putting the ceiling fan at a normal speed that the two of you loved it at.
peter jumped into bed with you, on his left side as you were on the right with your body laying on the mattress on your back. you turned your head towards him, a soft smile appearing. “hey,” he whispered. his arm sneakily and smoothly wrapping around your waist and pulling you closely to his body. “hey.” you smiled back.
“mm, missed you today.” he mumbled, kissing your head and your cheeks. “i’ve missed you more,” you played with the top of his shirt, running your hands down and leaving them at his biceps. his stomach moved ever so slightly, “got me ticklish right there.” he said, moving his face closer to yours with his eyes closed as his nose touched yours. “mhhm,” you gave him a sloppy love sick kiss, your lips parting ever so slightly.
“if i could, i’d stay like this forever.” he whispered, saying nothing afterwords waiting for your response. he waited and waited, then slowly opened his eyes to see you softly breathing and already asleep.
peter smiled, breathing in and closing his eyes and falling asleep after you.

UNWIND || Johnnie Guilbert
Tumblr media
(a/n: i’m having an idea pop into mind)
as soon as you clock out of your shift, you make a dash out of your work place without saying goodbye to your coworkers and managers. you had a terrible, terrible shitty 8 hour shift and the clock had just hit 11. all you wanted to do now was unwind and go to sleep, of course with johnnie.
you sped the way home, the tears spilling down as soft music played out of your stereo. ‘why can’t human be humans?’ you thought to yourself, hiccuping and gripping the wheel tight as you could. you finally reached into the neighborhood, taking down a few paths till you can see the house you and your roommates bought with each other.
you assumed that jake’s and johnnie’s car were in the drive way, seeing carrington’s car was out side and two other cars were there as well. you scoffed, throwing your head back and parking near the sidewalk on the road. this will do, you have no intentions on being a friendly social butterfly tonight to go ask whoever the car owner’s were to move their car.
after grabbing your huge black spiky purse, you locked the doors to your black honda sedan. you beeped it twice, and then tried opening the car door just to make sure it was locked. you always did that— being paranoid about being in LA on the streets. though with this neighborhood, you shouldn’t be since it’s a gated community.
the big door was open already, so you put your keys back into your purse and opened the door widely. you sneakily step into the house, putting your purse on the decor shelf next to the door. you took off your black heels, leaving them right next to johnnie’s.
you undid your pony tail, letting your hair fall onto your black silky dress up shirt that was mandatory to wear for work. you walk with your head down towards the living room, not paying any attention to your surroundings, unbuckling your black belt that was hugging your waist very tightly.
“sweet cheeks!” you heard tara’s voice in the background, and you stopped as soon as you were about to go in the hallway that lead to your room. “tara hey,” you gulped out, turning around with a fake smile to not make them worry so much. though that didnt help, the run down mascara and eyeliner were visibly known on your cheeks, your dark red lipstick smudged around your lips.
you noticed familiar faces in the room. carrington, jake, johnnie of course. then there was tara, sam, colby, and maila. “girl you look like you went through a break up.” maila spoke first, the tension in the room shifting to a force chuckle coming from everyone’s voices.
“you okay?” movement could be heard that was coming from johnnie’s body, as he finally reached you. “turned out, a coworker had quit and my shift turned into a eight hour shift instead of a four hour shift. i mean, yay more money for me! if it wasn’t for shitty fucking customers.” you grumbled out, johnnie looked back at the group and mouthed ‘continue, i’ll look out for her’.
you moved like a drunken man coming home from a night of clubbing, stumbling into johnnie as you walked. he caught you of course, placing an arm around you to keep you steady half of the walk back to your room. “you really do look like you went through a break up,” the quietness of the hallway was broken by johnnie’s first sentence that was said to you.
you chuckled softly at his words, “well— when you had a day like mine, you’ll understand.” you hummed out, opening the door to your room and turning on the light. “my fishie,” you softly spoke with an up tone like you were talking to a baby. you touched the 50 gallon tank, as you see your red beta fish swim from his spot to you.
“you don’t have to stay with me, i know whatever you guys were talking was deep. i could hear it from the entry way.” you finally spoke, “no i want to stay. im your boyfriend, i have to understand what you’re going through and be there for you.” he responded, as you stood there while he took off the button black silky shirt for you. “thanks,” you mumbled. he gave you a kiss on the head in return.
thankfully for this room, it had a bathroom connected to it. you opened the door, turning the light on as you let the shirt slowly slide off your body. turning on the sink, you grabbed your skincare routine for the night and let it set waiting for the hot water.
“do you wanna talk about your day?” johnnie asked. you shook your head no, not wanting to go through another river of your tears flowing down your cheeks. “i just screamed about it on the way home to be honest, it kinda helped out but honestly all it did was make my throat hurt.” johnnie hummed st that.
as soon as you finished your nightly routine, you placed your toothbrush back to were it was and turned on the shower. “do you want to shower with me?” you whisper asked, taking your silky shirt off to reveal a few matching tattoos with johnnie’s and the black lacey bra with a pink bow in the middle on it. “of course,” he responded. you turned your back to him as he unbuttoned the bra, and as soon as it was un clipped you slipped it on the ground and groaned. “that feels good huh?” johnnie asked. you nodded. “you have no idea,” you faced him now, and as a man of nature, his eyes dropped down.
“johnnie,” you laughed, as his body was now touching yours, as his lips kissed all over your top body. “m sorry m sorry, couldn’t help it.” he shed off his clothes as you shed off the last of yours, both of you finally hopping into the shower. “i stink i don’t understand why you’d wanna kiss my stinky body.” you scrunch your nose as you look at him. “because you’re mine baby i don’t care,” his arms wrapped around your waist, his wet lips moving to your neck and leaving a sloppy trail of kisses everywhere.
after johnnie did his routine for his face and hair, he helped you with yours. washing your body, washing your face, and just pecking your whole face with kisses. finally after another long five minutes of silence in each other’s arms in the shower, the two of you got out and dried. you went back to your room while he went back to his, which was on the other side of the house.
of course, the gang was still there. his eyes widen, “shit i forgot you guys were still here.” he nervously laughed. “so,” colby wiggled his eyes. “so,” sam did the same with him. the gang all laughed at that, “screw off. we only showered.” he mumbled. “you didn’t do the do?” carrington asked, “dude did you see how messed up girly pop was when she entered? nah she definitely didn’t seem like she was in a mood for one.” tara smacked carrington’s back slightly. “anyways— uh, i’m gonna go grab some jams.” johnnie walked off, trying to cover everything that wasn’t clothed.
he walked into his room, closing his door. he saw what his girl picked out, the matching pajamas she got the two for christmas of last year. he got out his black pants that were covered in small white bow ties, while grabbing the normal black shirt that went with them. he put on his boxers before hand, and placed everything on.
he walked out, turning off his light with his pillow underneath his arms. “awe, witte johnnie can’t sleep with out his pwillow” jake spoke with a baby voice. johnnie looked at him, and raised the middle finger towards him. “fuck off,” his mumbled voice was heard in the group. he could hear the door open to his girl’s room, and she entered with wet down hair that was drenching her own black shirt. she was seen in black pajama pants with pink bows on her’s. “you feeling better babes?” tara walked over to her, as the two went into the kitchen. maila entered with them, and the boys were left in the dust.
“dude what the hell happened with her?” sam asked. johnnie shrugged, “she didn’t want to talk about it. i’ll ask tomorrow, but man.. i haven’t seen her like that since.., two years ago? it’s been long. shit scared the living lights out of me.” johnnie sputtered out.
the girls emerged from the kitchen, the middle one seen with grape melatonin in her hand and two pills on top of it, with a cold water bottle in her other hand. “sorry to cut it short for johnnie’s night guys.” she spoke. the gang reassured her that it was okay, noticing the time that read 12:30 on everyone’s watch. “we’re gonna go home anyways,” sam spoke. “you really don’t have too!” she chirped in. “no no we need too, sam and i have a meeting at like 8 am.” colby groaned. maila rubbed his back with her hand.
she swayed on her feet, waiting for the goodbyes from the group to be done. “night jake, night carrington.” she told the two. the two boys did the same, as they walked off to their side of the house. johnnie traveled behind her, turning off the hallway light and closing the door that entered her room. he placed the black sleeve pillow onto her bed, walking towards the light to mess with the ceiling fan and put it on the perfect spot. he turned off the light, cussing as he stubbed his toe onto something. “you okay baby?” she asked him, turning her flashlight on her phone on. “m fine,” he slid in the bed, the covers covering both of them.
he scooted closer to her, his front body feeling her back’s. she was the little spoon for tonight, and he’d be the bigger spoon. usually it’s the other way around. “alright, alright..” his soft voice hummed. “what do you want me to sing tonight for you?” he could hear her chew the purple melatonin, as she shuffled even closer to his back if possible.
“kiss me?” she whispered. he nodded, though she couldn’t see she could feel. his face was covered in her hair, as he breathed in a big whiff. “you smell divine.” he kissed her head, and started to sing on her request. “kiss me,” he started off.
“kiss me out of the bearded barely,”

tasm! Peter kissing reader any chance he gets?
a/n: thank you for requesting <3
pairing: tasm! peter x reader
peter silently wraps his arms around you and rest his head between the crook of your neck, giving your neck a small peck. peter always wants to kiss you, every chance he gets he takes it.
“what was that kiss for?” you giggle, as your boyfriend’s grip on you tightens, and he starts to sway you both.
“just wanted to kiss you.” he says softly, moving his head from your neck, his lips landing on the apple of your cheek.
“you always want to kiss me.” you move your head back to look at peter with a bright smile. “of course i do.” he turns you around so you could face and see him fully. you give peter a warm smile and wrap your arms around his neck. he moves in to give you more kisses, you deserve all the kisses in the world from him, in his opinion. if he could kiss you all day he would, so he kisses you any chance he can.
“peter!” you shout, laughing at the pampering he’s giving you, you think your boyfriend is overly sweet, and you love it. you love peter.
he stops and pulls from your face. he has a cheeky smile and pulls you in, hugging you tighter than before. “you’re too sweet, peter.” you tell him fondly. your hands going up to peters hair, playing with it softly, he loves when you play with his hair. it makes him melt.
“i’m too sweet?”
“yes, you practically spoil me.” you giggle out, your heart is all warm and you feel a little silly when your with peter. “well a sweet girl like you should be spoiled.” and he moves in to kiss you all over again.
