Sunlight

A thing I love about Lightcannon is that Lux is, in most iterations, a very kind, compassionate person.

She's a messy, imperfect human, she has flaws, she makes mistakes, and Jinx is Jinx, so their relationship wouldn't be all sunshine. There could be conflict, drama, rough patches. There will certainly be external forces constantly trying to destroy them for daring to have what they have. And they won't always be good for each other.

But Lux is kind.

And she possesses the clarity, dare I say it, to shine a light on the kindness that is there in Jinx, that has always been there in Jinx.

There's an element of hope and healing in there. There's an element of "you're okay. it's okay. i'm here with you."

This is a love that Jinx can feel she deserves. This is a love that Jinx is allowed to accept without judgment. There are no conditions or expectations to sharing a love with Lux. She doesn't have to become someone else. She doesn't have to be Powder or Jinx or anything in between.

She doesn't have to be anything except who she is right now.

That's what Lux can give her, that nobody else can.
