MLQC - Medieval AU ideas drabble!

We have seen the guys in medieval roles, but what if we mash them together!

- takes place during the 17th to 19th century

- the MC can have various roles like:

Being a peasant, maid or servant, who is in a lot of trouble because of her parents, or the daughter of a noble family-- who wishes not to be married off to someone she barely knows and does not love. Some ideas there.

Let's give our main guys some roles!

In order of Hiarchy:

Victor

"A kingdom is nothing without the strength and faith of it's people."

He is the King, Emperor, or a Duke (duh :P)

A true king of the people-- Victor was appointed to become the King (or emperor) by the previous royal council he was apart of for many years. He had no direct claim to the throne, however, he worked hard and the concil of the people favored him. He now is at the top of the kingdom (or empire) and continues to do what is best for the kingdom and it's people.

Although he is extremely pragmatic and a bit disconnected from the problems of common folk. However, no one can deny he is extremely intelligent and given the right information-- he can solved just about any issue.

Lucien

"Knowledge is the greatest weapon one can wheld."

Royal Phasician, Apothecary or Medicene man-- also a close advisor to the King.

Eventhough they seem at odds, Lucien is one of King's closest and most trusted advisors. He is the right hand man and probably the second most (if not the most) power person in the kingdom.

Additionally he has a network of spies and knows everything there is to know about the kingdom and it's enemies. This is a man you want on your side because he knows everyone's weaknesses, and more than 101 ways to make people talk.

Gavin

"I am on the side of order and justice in a world filled with chaos."

Cheif Knight, General, Commander and advisor of the kingdom's military forces.

Extremely loyal to the crown and the complete opposite of his younger brother. He is dedicated to justice and apprehension of criminals. Though he pleaded for his younger brother to be spared when he was caught doimg criminal actitives. Which was very out of character for him to do.

Gavin lives with the fact he spoke up for his brother, and must be the one to put him down if he causes too many more issues with the kingdom.

Kiro

"I live to bring the music and soul we all have a connection to-- let it all come forward and shine."

Bard, musician, jester and voice of the people-- and a spy master.

Kiro is the most talented musician in the whole kingdom. His songs heal the broken hearted and uplift the downtrodden. Though he has a darker (hidden) side that no one suspects from such a bright and brilliant man.

He easily infultrates high class parties and other kingdom's realms with his famous performances. All the while gathering valuable information about them as well.

Shaw

"I am a freeman. Because I chose to be."

The outlaw, criminal, pirate Captian, secret agent, hunted and treasure hunter.

He had always been a trouble maker from a young age. He never out grew his criminal nature, unlike his older brother, he became a theif and a lowlife. He was captured and was going to be excuted, but his older brother pleaded for him to be spared.

Instead, he was exiled and resents his older brother for saving his life. Shaw was able to commendere a ship and crew to do piracy. He deliberately steals from the kingdom that spared him. Though he has heard there is a great treasure there... not made of gold nor silver. He will take this great treasure for his own.

Main Character (MC)

My idea is that depending on where the MC starts will affect how they interact and know our main male leads.

High-class: Knows Victor or Kiro

Princess from another Kingdom or Related to Nobility

Mid-class: Knows Victor, Gavin, Lucien or Kiro

Royal Maid

(could be bumped up to head maid or fruther, if they work hard enough ;))

Lower-class: Knows Gavin or Shaw

Villager

Criminal: Knows Shaw, Lucien, Gavin or Kiro

Theif, witch, or some other thing that's considered a severe criminal act...

Extra stuff!

Not sure if they should have evol or not...

Thinking not because they'd be hung for witch craft...

But Shaw probably be like, "yeah! give me cool lighting powers!" (That'll make him too op xP)

I want them to interact more!

He tried to move on...

But no one could ever compare to how she made him feel.

Alive. Passionate. Determined. And genuinely Happy.

As he grew up: he obtained power, influence and resource to serve his own secret goal.

He'll never tell her why he truly was so determined and worked hard to the bone all these years.

But why tell when showing how he feels is far more effective?

But now. Now he hopes he is the man the source of his affections will like.

Maybe even love?

His foolish hope carries him forward and even rewarded him when he got another chance.

He will ensure with all that he is he will not waste this opportunity.

Alright Lucien centered episode (It’s his turn on the chopping block)

Episode 9:

“Monochrome”

The term monochrome comes from the Ancient Greek: μονόχρωμος, romanized: monochromos, lit. 'having one color'. A monochromatic object or image reflects colors in shades of limited colors or hues. Images using only shades of grey (with or without black or white) are called grayscale or black-and-white.

These titles... the creators think are sooo clever... (but they are)

MC looking for Lucien:

Damn this girl is actually got a very good investigative mind

but no real sense of danger and is sooo dumb sometimes... Like was she dropped as a baby? Oh wait she’s a “journalist” ... IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!

Oh cool boy Lucien arrives just in time to save the day. Hooraaaaay

Awww she got a tiny scratch and thanks Lucien for being a traveling first-aid kit!

But he must carry band-aids on him because he works with kids... and ohhhh boooy are they accident prone. Like MC! Wait MC is like a kid... the way she acts sometimes...

Lucien sees through MC’s strong girl facade:

He’s *clap* too *clap* smart *clap* to *clap* fall *clap* for *clap* that... *clap*

Makes strong points about him helping her to shut down her annoying “I don’t need no one” arguments.

Look I know she wants people (especially evolvers) to stay away from her right now but...

- Basically: “MC Lucien is like a genius researcher and probably the best person to ask for help and go to for this kind of thing. Now isn’t the time to “play the hero” (that comes later) And you need his help.”

MC was fully unaware. Like she truly is clueless. Surprising for someone who has a “selective precognition evol”. Guess she... DID NOT SEE THIS COMING!

(like that part was sooo unnecessarily overly dramatic)

(MC got nooo athleticism. But that is accurate in the game sooo)

Okay... Sooo she like is holding herself hostage? Like damn girl...

Really goes to show there nothing more dangerous than a person with “nothing left to lose”...

I guess Lucien wants her alive (because he cares-- pesky feelings)

I guess she’s a back up too? And a short-cut for evolution?  If this whole TV tower plan thing blows up.

Oh and now Lucien has lost “his color”

So saaad

But... why he stab his own eye though?

I have a theory that he did that to be like “She stabbed me in the eye and got away”?

Fun-facts: The number 4 in Japaneses is associated with death and a bad omen. So hotels might avoid having a room 404, much like how older buildings do not have a floor 13. If there are more than 13 floors. Because the number 13 associated with bad luck.

This anime's pacing is break neck at time.

You really should play the games cause you'll be sooo lost.

Also it's so cool that this dark wind started to come out as if symbolizing the swirling dark conflict and storm surging within him. Nice touch there ;P

Also Litton is dead... so I guess he won't get to see his kid that was never mentioned.

Extra Hades rant that no one asked for:

Sighing. Okay. I want to address this elephant in the room. Look. I get it, you got this "theme" going on with Black Swan (BS-heh) and Hellenize Greek Gods. But I am so sick and tired with Hades getting a bad wrap.

Oh no Haaddeess lord of the Underworld who does his job (that no one else would want to do and he was probably swindled into by Zeus), has a giant three headed dog named spot, and loves his wife.

Just, ugh, I'm sick and tired of seeing him vilified all the time. Cause death is bad! The Underworld is dark, gloomy, and evvvviiiilll. Therefore Hades is evil.

You know what I would like in the game?

(Probably an unpopular opinion)

A Hades route. Give me a Hades route! I'll take him over humanity any-day (as long as they do him justice. They are capable of writing really complicated themes and stuff) also I'ma sucker for dark misunderstood guys.

But it's fine if you just need an evil villain. That's cool. But why not use Zeus, Poseidon, Aphrodite or Hera even? Those gods have done some pretty messed up thing for being painted as "the good gods". Just saying 👀

Ever heard of something called the Trojan war? Guess who started it? Aphrodite.

Guess how many wars Hades started.

ZERO! Because he knows better and very rarely interferes with mortals.

Like yeah he caused the seasons to happen cause he “kidnapped”. Persephone, but apparently that was a thing back then. Young girls would be taken by force sometimes and driven away on chariots. Sometimes with or without the father's or standing guardian's permission. Because it was a widely accepted thing. (Women were treated like cattle).

I have heard across the board despite taking her he treats her very well (more so than the other gods)

Or else Demeter will end him and the human race so he best be good and he is.

I'm not kidding. Go look it up.

I'm very passionate about this subject as you can tell.

MLQC Episode 7 “Are we not gonna talk about this?”

Just finished watching episode 7 of the MLQC Anime 

(I have been looking forward to this episode!)

And here are just some little drabble thoughts I have:

Like I have some questions...

Actually they are more of some concerns...

and I wanna talk about them or get other people thoughts on this...

Like, are we all gonna just gloss over the fact that Victor just “yeeted” some people out of existence or to another time?

(I'm hoping he sent them to another time, and he actually did not prematurely [and accidentally] send them to the shadow realm. If yah know what I mean ._.)

Also... did Victor just kicked open a SEALED METAL DOOR?!

(little op don’t yah think?)

(Well at LEAST it took him a couple of kicks. Only took him one in the game and the door fell over.)
