Home for me is about 300 acres of family farm land in Kentucky. Were I have raised my children, cattle and crops. It was home to my Husband Charlie from birth until his death March 6th 2003. My children still live on the Farm in their own homes. We raised Tobacco many years and Beef Cattle. At present all that is being raised is Beef Cattle. I was diagnosed with MG in april 2009. With the help of God and some very good Doctors I am able to work and will be able to live a normal life.

Inside California’s “Slab City,”
Where People Go To Live Way Off The Grid.
Slab City, or The Slabs, is a free campsite and alternative living community located near an active bombing range in the desert city of Niland, California.
The land Slab City is on is owned and managed by the state of California. Camp Dunlap, the former World War II base that left the concrete "slabs" that form the foundation of Slab City, was given back to the state in 1961 and subsequently dismantled.
Salvation Mountain and East Jesus is located here as well.

Today has been fun. I couldn't find the key to locks on my cable that locked my bike. Finally, I found it.... had all the junk washed off my truck and went to a roadside market. Got some great oranges and Zuchinni. Then, found the trail I wanted to ride. Unloaded the bike and rode 4.1 tenth of a mile. Major ride lol. I noticed hard to ride and then it dawned on me, the tires were about flat. So, i stopped. A couple nice fellas stopped and said, you need air bad. Don't ride it, push it back. I did manage to get my snaps in though😜. So, it was ride 4.1 and push 4.1. I stopped at B's Bike shop and the young fella that helped me was so nice. He aired up my tires and adjusted my seat. Loaded and unloaded the bike for me. Offered him a tip but he said, no mam. So, I will attempt to ride tomorrow. Great riding here.

Today we visited the City Of Rocks.... very neat rock formations. At one time this was a volcano. Saw a couple large Ravens and a few plants in the botanical gardens. This would be a great place to group camp very secluded.

Been a long day traveling but we were stopped and in a park by 4 pm. Showered and ready for bed and a book. We changed our route plans due to it is cold...
Instead of I 40 west we are taking 30, 20, 10 west for the southern route. It should be a little warmer for us. Later in Febuary we will loop back up to 40 for a few stops. It is Wander women perogative to change their minds......😉
