Personally, I don't think Liu Kang would be able to understand Kung Lao's mentality during this time. I think he'd take every accusation personally. I also don't think he'd act this way with anyone else tbh

He can't escape the best friend mindset that he has with Kung Lao where he shows this more dominant/bratty side of himself that he doesn't show with anyone else & I really feel like it'd make problems for them in the future
