currently reading The Priory of the Orange Tree (1/8th of the way through lmao) and while it took a solid 70 pages to get me invested I'm now on board! bring forth the international politics!
#70 quite dense pages too#i dont read a ton of high fantasy so i dont have a lot of reference but it does remind me of when i was reading the 1st aSoIaF#similar dense barrage of names#this one takes slightly longer to communicate the stakes#but there's 100% less sexual assault and incest#so id say it evens out#books#mjtalksalot
