It's been a lot of fun tackling sharks in new and interesting ways these past 3 years, and all the accolades to Jey Pawlik for running this anthology for the last decade.

i’m constantly thinking about how growing up autistic is so often basically a one-way ticket to becoming complexly traumatized. like the sheer amount of shit you have to struggle with at an age where you’re extremely susceptible to psychological injury because you’re literally just learning how to live is fucking bonkers. so many of us grow up feeling like we’re broken and unlovable after so many experiences being ostracized by our peers and even by adults all our lives for things we couldn’t control. and then we continue to struggle into adulthood, and we have to learn to fix the damage, somehow, but it’s so fucking hard because of our disability. it’s a nightmare.
