The wisdom behind calamities . • Calamities provide an opportunity to think about one's faults and shortcomings and past mistakes. . • Calamities remind you of your sins so that you can repent from them. . • To attain true submission and servitude ('ubudiyah) to Allaah, the Lord of the Worlds. . • Trials prepare the believers to prevail on earth . • Expiation of sins . • Attainment of reward and a rise in status . • Calamity is a lesson in Tawheed, faith and trust in Allaah . • Calamities drive out self-admiration from our hearts and bring them closer to Allaah . • To demonstrate the true nature of people, for there are people whose virtue is unknown until calamity strikes . • Calamities strengthen people’s resolve . • Calamities and hardship is that a person becomes able to distinguish between true friends and friends who only have their own interests at heart. . • Calamities show you the true nature of this world and its transience, and that it is temporary conveniences, and shows us that true life is that which is beyond this world, in a life in which there is no sickness or exhaustion. . • Calamities remind you of the great blessings of good health and ease. . And Allaah knows best. TELEGRAM: https://t.me/irsyadatonline . •Hadith on the picture is Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2399), classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah,2280.

@madinah_wear : . . SPEAK GOOD OR REMAIN SILENT . . Praise be to Allah The Muslim has to control his tongue and not speak unless he says something good. . . Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or else keep silent …” . . Al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “If he wants to speak, then if what he wants to say is good and he is confident that he will be rewarded for it, whether it is obligatory or praiseworthy, then let him speak, but if it does not seem to him that it is good and he will be rewarded for it, then let him refrain from speaking, whether he thinks it is haram (impermissible) or makrooh (disliked) or permissible. Based on this, it is recommended to refrain from saying permissible words and we are enjoined to avoid this, lest it lead us into something that is haram or makrooh, which is what happens in many cases or in most cases. . . Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): . . ‘Not a word does he (or she) utter but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it).’ [50:18] . . Al-Imam al-Shafi’i understood the hadeeth (narration) to mean that if a person wants to say something, he should think about it: if it seems to him that it will not do any harm, then he should speak, but if he thinks that it will do some harm or he thinks that this is most likely, then he should refrain from speaking.” . . The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to control our tongues in more than one hadeeth, such as that narrated by al-Tirmidhi from ‘Uqbah ibn ‘Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: “I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, what is salvation?’ He said, ‘Control your tongue, keep to your house and weep over your sin.’” . . - Classed as saheeh (authentic) by al-Albani.

. On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: . . Allah the Almighty said: I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. . . If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; . . and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better than it. . . And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a cubit, . . and if he draws near to Me a cubit, I draw near to him a fathom. . . And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at running. . . (1) Another possible rendering of the Arabic is: "I am as My servant expects Me to be". The meaning is that forgiveness and acceptance of repentance by the Almighty is subject to His servant truly believing that He is forgiving and merciful. However, not to accompany such belief with right action would be to mock the Almighty. . . 📖- It was related by al-Buhkari (also by Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn-Majah)

@madinah_wear : ILM WA AMAL . . Maalik bin Deenaar said: . . ‘There is no good in you knowing what you don’t know when you do not act upon what you already know. The example of this is like that of a man who gathers firewood then ties it up in a bundle and begins to carry it on his back. But when he finds that he is not able to, (instead of taking some firewood out of the bundle) he puts more in it.'” . . -Iqtidaa ul Ilm wa Amal by Khateeb baghdadi page 28.

@madinah_wear : TIME . . Praise be to Allaah. The blessing of time is one of the greatest blessings that Allaah can bestow upon His slaves. Allaah even swears by time in some cases, as He says (interpretation of the meaning): . . “By Al‑‘Asr (the time)” . . [al-‘Asr 103:1] . . - because of the importance and blessing of time. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: . . “Make the most of five things before five others: life before death, health before sickness, free time before becoming busy, youth before old age, and wealth before poverty.” . . - See Saheeh al-Jaami’, no. 1077. . . But most people are unaware of the importance of this blessing and are neglectful of their duties towards it, namely to fill it with acts of gratitude and obedience towards Allaah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are two blessings which many people do not make the most of and thus lose out: good health and free time.” . - Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 6412.

@madinah_wear: ﷽ - HADITH QUDSI daily share: . . On the authority of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (ﷺ) is that among the sayings he relates from his Lord (may He be glorified) is that . . He said: O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. . . O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you, . . O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. . . O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you. . . O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you. . . O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and will not attain benefitting Me so as to benefit Me. . . O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything. . . O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything. . . O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea if put into it. . . O My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him who finds good, praise Allah, and let him who finds other than that, blame no one but himself. . . - It was related by Muslim (also by at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah).

Then He explained it [by saying that] he who has intended a good deed and has not done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as a full good deed, but if he has intended it and has done it, Allah writes it down with Himself as from ten good deeds to seven hundred times, or many times over. @madinah_wear: ﷽ . . - HADITH QUDSI daily share:On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (ﷺ), who said: Allah (glorified and exalted be He) has supernumerary angels who rove about seeking out gatherings in which Allah's name is being invoked: they sit with them and fold their wings round each other, filling that which is between them and between the lowest heaven. When [the people in the gathering] depart, [the angels] ascend and rise up to heaven. . . He (the Prophet p.b.u.h.) said: Then Allah (mighty and sublime be He) asks them - [though] He is most knowing about them: From where have you come? . . And they say: We have come from some servants of Yours on Earth: they were glorifying You (Subhana llah), exalting you (Allahu akbar), witnessing that there is no god but You (La ilaha illa llah), praising You (Al-Hamdu lillah), and asking [favours] of You. . . He says: And what do they ask of Me? They say: They ask of You Your Paradise. . . He says: And have they seen My Paradise? . . They say: No, O Lord. He says: And how would it be were they to have seen My Paradise! . . They say: And they ask protection of You. . . He says: From what do they ask protection of Me? . . They say: From Your Hell-fire, O Lord. . . He says: And have they seen My Hell-fire? . . They say: NO. . . He says: And how would it be were they to have seen My Hell-fire: . . They say: And they ask for Your forgiveness. He (the Prophet p.b.u.h) said: . . Then He says: I have forgiven them and I have bestowed upon them what they have asked for,and I have granted them sanctuary from that from which they asked protection. . . He (the Prophet p.b.u.h) said: They say: O Lord, among then is So-and-so, a much sinning servant, who was merely passing by and sat down with them. . . He (the Prophet p.b.u.h) said: And He says: And to him [too] I have given forgiveness: he who sits with such people shall not suffer. @madinah_wear: ﷽ . . - Hadith Qudsi daily share: . . On the authority of Adiyy ibn Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: . . I was with the Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and there came to him two men: one of them was complaining of penury (being very poor), while the other was complaining of brigandry (robbery). . . The Messenger of Allah (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: As for brigandry, it will be but a short time before a caravan will [be able to] go out of Mecca without a guard. As for penury, the Hour (Day of Judgement) will not arrive before one of you takes his charity around without finding anyone to accept it from him. Then one of you will surely stand before Allah, there being no screen between Him and him, nor an interpreter to translate for him. . . Then He will say to him: Did I not bring you wealth . . And he will say: Yes. . . Then He will say: Did I not send to you a messenger? . . And he will say: Yes. . . And he will look to his right and will see nothing but Hell-fire, then he will look to his left and will see nothing but Hell-fire, so let each of you protect himself against Hell-fire, be it with even half a date - and if he finds it not, then with a kind word. i.e. at the time of the Hour. . . -It was related by al-Bukhari.

Allah (mighty and sublime be He) says: Fasting is Mine and it is I who give reward for it. [A man] gives up his sexual passion, his food and his drink for my sake. Fasting is like a shield, and he who fasts has two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord.
