AC Prep Tip #1: Make a Playlist

Let's face it. There's no way you're making it through massive amounts of tedious, mindless flash games without some tunes in the background to keep your brain from melting. Now is the perfect time to bust out iTunes or Spotify and add all your favorite songs to an Altador Cup playlist. Perhaps you play best to wordless electronic music or maybe you can only enjoy Yooyuball to the sounds of classic rock. Whatever makes you happiest works best!

Something to remember is that the Altador Cup lasts a freaking long time, so you may want to have more than 30 songs because you'll get tired of them pretty quickly.

Maybe you just suck at putting music together. Hey, that's okay. We can't succeed at everything. However, there are some great websites and applications out there to make your life easier.

pandora.com - Pretty well-known online radio website. Make radio stations based off artists, songs, or genres.

8tracks.com - User-uploaded mixtapes.

trntbl.me - Plays all the audio posts a tumblr user has reblogged.

Soundrop - Want to listen to Spotify with friends? Add to playlists and up-vote songs with a group of people all listening and chatting together.

turntable.fm - Similar to Soundrop but completely online. DJs in a room choose the music and everyone chats together.

If all else fails, just keep this as a permanently-open tab for the duration of the Cup.

After stunning fans by vaulting from back-to-back 14th place finishes to come in 2nd overall, Mystery Island is now trying to avoid the usual pitfalls. "Rest assured, nobody's gotten a swelled head. The Altador Cup comes to a close after another great year! An intense tie-breaker between Meridell and Mystery Island was held, and because of all your hard work, Mystery Island came out on top! For the first time, Mystery Island will be taking a spot on the podium earning the silver and we couldn't have done it without each and every loyal supporter. Don't let others bring you down; Mystery Island deserved this win! Here's to a fantastic Altador Cup and Mystery Island hopes to see you all again next year. (:
