After having dinner, both of them went to bed.

Seeing Aurora lying beside him so peacefully made him feel guilty for what he was about to do.

The burden was too much for him to bear. That is why he decided to rob her and buy his necessities.

He saw her keeping the key to her cupboard under her pillow and tried to take it by slowly by sliding his hands under it.

But unfortunately for him, Aurora saw this coming. Being a light sleeper, just as she felt his hand slither under her pillow, she turned around and sat on his stomach with her legs on either side of his body and holding his hand to his sides.

Jim was speechless.

"I knew you were gonna do something like this Jimmy"

"WHY DO YOU CARE ABOUT ME SO MUCH? HUH!! DO YOU WANT TO FUCK ME? THEN DO IT!! GET OVER WITH IT AND LET ME GO YOU WHORE!!"

Aurora tried to keep his hand in place but being stronger Jim freed himself.

Out of desperation she tightly wrapped her legs around his stomach and put her hands around his neck and grabbed her sheets in an attempt to keep him in place.

But Alas! Jim's athletic figure helped him a lot.

He was successful in sitting straight with her still on his lap.

Frantically thinking, she did the only thing she could think of.

She kissed him with all her might.

Aurora felt Jim fight against her but he soon gave in and both of them moved in sync.

Breathless, Aurora broke their kiss and leaned her forehead against his.

That's when guilt hit Jim like a truck.

He could see the tears rolling down her eyes to her cheeks.

"I'm s-so sorry-y. I didn't mean t-to do this" he apologized.

She looked at him quietly.

Not being able to keep it in anymore, she crushed herself against him and cried her heart out.

"WHY JIM?WHY? WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DO THIS? THOSE THINGS DESTROYED YOUR LIFE AND YOU STILL WANT THEM? HUH?"

Jim couldn't do nothing but listen to her rant.

"YOUR SUCH A STUPID TEENAGE BOY. IT WAS FINE TILL SMOKIN' BUT THE PILLS? ARE YOU OUTTA YOUR DAMN MIND? YOU BASTARD.

I WANTED TO SAY I HATE YOU BUT I CAN'T CAUSE I LOVE YOUR SORRY ASS YOU IDIOT. I'M GONNA FRICKING KILL YOU MYSELF IF I SEE YOU NEAR THOSE THINGS. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?"

Jim didn't know whether to laugh or cry at Aurora, cause right now she was giving him a lecture while sitting on his lap with her face on his shoulders like a baby.

"I SAID DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?"

"Yes"

"Good"

"Hey Aurora?"

"Hm?"

"You love me?"

"Yes"

Aurora just looked at Jim. Not with disappointment but pity. Sure they were nothing more than mere classmates. But seeing him lying on the snowy basketball court with bruises covering his body, made her heart clench.

Her parents went to her aunt's house and won't return for a week. So,she without a second thought she went towards Jim's unconscious body.

She crouched down to his level and whispered "Hey Jim can you hear me?"

No response

After trying to shake him awake a few times, Aurora did the only thing she could do that is carrying him on her back.

Sure Jim was lean, but for a petite girl like her it was no easy job.

Soon the both of them reached her apartment.

Aurora knew what made Jim this way and also that he was going to try everything to get access to those. That is why she firmly tied him to her bed and stayed by his side all night.

It was around 2 'o clock that Jim woke up.

"Aurora?"

"Yes Jim"

"How am I here?"

"You were laying on the basketball court. I took you to my apartment."

"W-why am I t-tied?"

"You know very well yourself Jim."

"LET ME GO. IT HURTS"

"No Jim"

"PLEASE JUST LET ME GET OUTTA HERE ITS BURNING "

"Jim please just calm down"

"I SAID LET ME GO YOU BITCH"

"I'm sorry"

Aurora wordlessly made her way towards Jim. She put her hands on his cheek and watched as he leaned into her warmth.

"Why did you do this to yourself Jim? Why?"

"I couldn't help myself" he cried.

She sighed and wrapped her arms around him.

Jim put his head on her shoulders and cried like a baby while she rubbed his back.

Tired from doing so much, both of them fell asleep.

Jim was the first one to wake up. This was the best sleep he had in days.

He watched the girl who was holding him tightly. This was the first time they had a proper conversation. Most of the time it was just some polite greetings. Seeing her so close made him realise what he was missing in his life.

He watched as she stirred awake.

"Goodmorning Jimmy"

"G-goodmorning"

"Are you okay now?"

"Yes"

She nodded and went to get up.

"Hey"

She turned.

"I'm sorry about this" he gestured to himself.

Aurora smiled "Its fine. Why don't you help me make some breakfast?"

"Yah sure"

The two of them managed to make some flatbread and scrambled eggs with vegetables.

When they sat down, Jim was unable to eat.

"Here why don't I help you?"

Aurora fed him his food while eating hers and made small talks with him.

When they finished eating, Jim watched as Aurora made her way towards him and leaned down and hugged him.

Jim never thought that he would like the feeling of being hugged so much.

He instantly wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her down to his lap.

They both sat in silence for a long time. Just enjoying each other's presence.

Aurora played with his hair while he nuzzled his face into her shoulder and held her tighter.

"Jimmy I know it's hard but please just listen to me and stop this please honey."

"You don't know how it feels when I don't take them."

"I might not know but please baby please don't do this. I beg you."

"Why?"

"I care about you Jim that is why and it's not because I want to take advantage of you. Seeing you lying so helplessly made me feel really bad"

"How come I never knew you before?"

"I don't know honey"

"You really are nice"

She laughed "Why would you think I was bad in the first place?"

"I don't know not everyone takes a drug addict to their homes."

"Hey listen. Your not an addict yet I know that you yourself want to leave this but can't. This is why I'm going to help you. But I can't do this without your cooperation. So you need to help me there buddy."

"I'll t-try"

"And that is more that enough"
