"...?" Mixed was confused. "Why are you sorry? You didn't do anything to me."

She looked around as she stepped fully out of the portal, pencil disappearing. She clutched her hands to her chest.

"Oh, it's nice to see you. My apologies for the lack of scenery I'm doing a bit of remodeling."

"I woke up in the void. I didn't know anything about why I was there or my creation. I spent a lot of time there before i realized I could create. I then began creating a neighborhood for my neighbors. I didn't know where they were but i hoped they would return." Mixed paused, his eyes downcast. "But he didnt like that."

"Mixer..." He felt sick just by saying his name. "Didn't want me to do that. So he started to 'fix' me, as he would call it. He would rip me apart, creating holes and blurs in my memory. It was horrible. I begged him to stop and let me out but he never responded to my pleads."

The room grew darker as he began to shake. "I learned I wasn't the only one. I learned that he created me yet despised me. I learned of so many other lonely souls he condemned for not being perfect. It got so bad that I begged for him to destroy me, that if he hated me so much to just kill me. But he didn't. It was a miracle that I escaped. There is more, so much more he did but I don't think I can tell you. I'm sorry."

Mixed took a deep breath, calming himself before continuing. "My apologies. That was unbecoming of me, I am deeply sorry if I frightened you. That was not my intent."

"I believe I know what you are referring to. Though I do warn you that it isn't a kind story. I doubt you'll be able to view your 'friend' in the same light."

"Oh how rude of me, I have a guest and I didnt even offer refreshments. Is there anything you would like?oh, apologies for the sudden color shift too."

"Though I am rather curious to know why someone told you to visit. Hold on let me set something up." Mixed raised his hand and a table appeared before them both.

Mixed took a seat and gestured for Acey to do the same. "There, now we can chat. My apologies for not doing so sooner but allow me to introduce myself. I am Mixed Love."

So you’re the one, he’s looking for

Isn’t this just Interesting, I’m curious for how long this will go on for. Whether he’ll get you first or if you’ll get rid of him first, maybe someone else will get him before you can. So many ways this could go and quite a lot of time too. I have every intention to see this through, it will be fun to watch occur next possible months or years:)

he's one of them, yes. I can't do anything about it now but I can wait... I've waited before. this will be nothing in comparison.

the pest. but they wont be hard to deal with. they aren't hard to impersonate or trick. they're gullible, far too gulible to have any semblance of whats best for my neighbors.

I know you that interact with that Frank, Home (and Wally) awhile back, but I didn’t realized you had met others too

oh, i have met a few... i already have an idea of what their houses will look like. it'll be nice once they move in. i do have to deal with a bit of a nuisance but im sure it will be quick to deal with.

what do you plan to do now that you’re free?

A lot. First I have to plan out a build a world for everyone. Then there's moving everyone in... I'm glad to have this little fella with me though it'll make the time fly by while im working.

You look so happy all the time and you bring such jubilance to other people! But... I would tell, are there any circumstances why are you like that?

I'm very happy you see me that way, I only want whats best for everyone so knowing I bring them joy is a great feeling. :)
