I finally finally FINALLY FINALLY got out of that cave oh my god my eyes are so shot BUT!!!! femke evolved into greninja while I was in there O: !

I'm so excited almost all my party has now been completely evolved aaahhhhh

I hate caves I got my butt kicked by a wobbuffet it was rly embarrassing. So I went all the way back to the pokemon center in Geosenge........then realized after I came back that there was a trainer in the cave I passed willing to heal my pokemon omf

in short that was my day yesterday

WELL THEN I guess I got my second wind at the perfect time because I ran into those weird guys in the red suits again..........

is this the team flare everyone's been talking about??? I don't remember if that's what they called themselves in the cave. Why are they loitering around a bunch of rocks omg I swear these guys give me the heebie geebies :(

Today I beat Grant for the Cliff Badge. I wasn't feeling too good. My friends are so far ahead of me at this point, I was wondering if it's really worth it to keep going if I'll never be on their level.

The things he said to me really put my journey so far into perspective. I know I can be really nervous and insecure about the things that I do...but I'm really encouraged to keep going. From now on, no more complaining about my progress. Even when things get scary and I feel like going home...I just need to remember that when I try my hardest, it really means something. My hardest might not look the same as other peoples' hardest, but it's no less important or valid.

Thank you for your kind words, Grant. I think I'll be able to smile, just like you said. You're really a super nice person, and I'll never forget this day. :)

I feel like I’ve been away from home for years and years and I only have one badge to show for myself so far. :( My friends are both like pokemon masters already and I’m a one-badge wonder mein gott I’m so embarrassed.

hrnrnnggggg but on a more cheerful note…..

my team of pokefriends is slowly expanding. I caught this snorlax that was blocking off the road once I managed to escape the scary grass area, and I named him Burke ‘cause he’s like a fortress. I also caught…ah…a sentret…most importantly tho Eseld evolved into Kirlia after so much hard work! I think I’m gonna cry she’s so pretty

I've been stuck in Frufrou Palace for a million years I think the noise of the fireworks threw off my sense of direction I DON'T DO WELL WITH LOUD NOISES

the lights sure were pretty though...

I feel really bad I ran into an abra and Brecht (my charmander--did I mention my charmander I think I was too excited about DiaNTHA to mention that I got a charmander!!!) burned him right before he teleported away THERE IS A SAD INJURED ABRA SOMEWHERE ON ROUTE 5 AND IT'S ALL MY FAULT

but shortly after that happened I ran into a hoard of plusles (and one minun) and Brecht evolved into a charmeleon he was so pumped up and proud of himself SO NOW I'M REALLY PROUD TOO :')
