The search for practical shoes continues

I'm having a hard time finding practical shoes. I think part of my problem is I like to wear heels, and wedges, and just cute, sexy shoes in general... practical shoes are not often as cute as I'd like them to be. I'm very picky with both comfort and style. I need to find a pair of practical walking shoes and workout shoes here very shortly. I have someone who has offered to take me shoe shopping, but I doubt I will take this very vanilla person up on his offer despite enjoying slaves to shop with. Yes, he's doing it to please me, but he has no real interest in what I'm shopping for, and therefore is boring to shop with. I've gone shopping once before with this person and they never have any opinion on the items I'm looking at. I like feedback. I like that wide eyed look of someone who enjoys the whole experience. I think this person is just too new to realize it's ok to show that excitement. I'm all about teaching someone how to open up and enjoy the experience, but right now if rather be focused on trying to enjoy shopping for shoes that are a pain to find. I know I need tennis shoes and walking shoes but my eyes are always searching for some sexy heels that would match my new hair color I'm getting done in a few days. Oh and stockings! Or long comfy socks.... sigh... again I ask why practical shoes are almost always so very boring.

I am considering doing something with my hair soon. I was going to do some sort of red ombre color, but now I am sort of leaning to the hot pinks and pinky/purples. Pink is one color I have not yet had in my hair before, so it is kind of scary, yet exciting to think of whether it would look fantastic, or really horrid in my hair. I would keep my hair long of course, as I will not go short ever again. Above are some of the ones I am really liking for color inspiration. The top one and the 3rd picture are probably my first two choices of the 3. The second photo is pretty, but the bleach needed to achieve a lighter blonde (I am already a natural blonde) would be really damaging to my hair, so that one is least likely to happen. The last one I like the color, but I really like having more than one shade or color in my hair to add depth, so that one is more for "I like this color" than the whole color all over. I think the perfect combination would be to do my hair like the top photo, and then have a little bit of the pink/purple color from the 3rd photo on the very tips. Decisions, decisions...

Coffee rant

In need of that perfect cup of coffee. I've yet to find a place that can make coffee just the way I like it. No one knows how to make the sweet creamy deliciousness that is a perfectly frothed cup of coffee. I know how to make the perfect cup, though I wish I had a better machine to do it on. I was previosly spoiled in having tasted the most amazing espresso from the gorgeous copper and bronze elektra french press machine that's on my wishlist. (You should look at it, total coffee porn) That thing is not only the most gorgeous espresso machine you will ever see, it also makes espresso so delicious, nothing can ever compare. I wish shops around here would step up their game. Finding a place that makes good espresso should not be this hard. I'll probaby just eventually train a sub on how to accomplish making the perfect cup.
